We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 65.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to travelfro.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning travelfro.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between travelfro.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of travelfro.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of travelfro.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. travelfro.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether travelfro.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether travelfro.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, travelfro.com.

This company is a scam-bait-and-switch tactic. I purchased a ticket because the price was lower than what I saw on other websites. After I made the payment, an agent called me, claiming that the ticket was unavailable at the price I paid and that I’d need to pay more to confirm the booking. When I refused and asked for a refund, the agent claimed they’d already paid the supplier and couldn’t refund me. I immediately contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. This company is fraudulent and should be banned. Don’t fall for this scam—I’m certain any positive reviews are fake.
FRAUD FRUAD FRAUD/ SCAMMERS. BEWAREPrice'n'FLY/ Travel Fro -They are big-time Scammers. They will offer you a cheap ticket and once you make the payment, they will tell you that the Airline has cancelled the tickets as the flight is full and will offer you a ticket which is more than the one available everywhere else. The catch is, if you ask for a refund, they will tell you that they will deduct the cancellation fees and refund the remaining one, even though you have not cancelled anything. Please BEWARE of these SCAMMERS.
Untrustworthy Experience with TravelFroI booked an air ticket with TravelFro at a specific cost, but after making the payment, they began demanding additional funds to finalize my ticket. This raised serious concerns about their legitimacy. I found numerous negative reviews after my purchase, which added to my distress.I have tried reaching out for help, but the lack of communication and support has been frustrating. I do not recommend using TravelFro for your travel needs. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I wish I had done more research beforehand.
This company is a big scam. I purchased 2 tickets today. Later Travelfro called me he told me the tickets were standby. I told him I didn’t know this and ask for a refund, told I couldn't. Hung up on me I then called my card company immediately canceled my card so they couldn't take money from my card.Do not trust them, the positive reviews even look fake. SCAM!!!
Booked 2 tickets, got a call saying they were standby only, asked for a cancellation and refund, told I couldn't. Hung up and called my card company, no charges yet so immediately canceled my card so they couldn't charge me, and ordered a new card. Do not trust them, the positive reviews even look fake. SCAM!!!
Same basic issue as others, but I gave it a chance as the rating for the company is still overall positive. Booked airfare, received initial, no follow up email with the actual e-tickets. Called and it was a bait and switch, you paid the amount to hold your reservation we need more money to actually make your reservation speech. Would not let me speak to a supervisor. I made complaints with BBB and the airline to try to get the word out.
I have recently booked a very important flight and was nervous about dealing indirectly with an agent from one of the many discount brokers. But when I interacted with your agent Kylie I felt extremely comfortable mainly because of her transparency and quick follow-up to my questions and concerns. I will definitely book again through Travelfro. I got a good price and felt confident during the process. TY Kylie!
I made a reservation with Travelfro for a $240 round-trip ticket MSP to CUN. Receiving no confirmation from Travelfro, I called the number on their website, There I was informed that Oh My — $240 is just for a standby ticket; the actual price is $672. This is a scam and I will now attempt to lodge a complaint with the site on which they appear.
So true with the many other reviews as to being careful using this travel agency. I purchased tickets and get a confirmation number, but then later get a call from William saying the seats are sold out. The only way to get e tickets for the already paid tickets is to pay an additional price of $239 per passenger. Beware of their scam tactics!!!
This is a scam company. Booked a budget flight, but did not receive tickets. When I called, they told me the amount I paid was merely to hold the reservation, and that the actual price was an additional $500. I told them to cancel the transaction, they said it was non-fundable. A complete scam. All the positive reviews here are fake; notice every one of them mentions the name of the person they spoke to.
Kylie Stones is the epitome of excellent customer service. There was some issue with processing my debit card and at one point I became suspicious of being scammed by a third party entity misrepresenting Delta Airlines. Kylie was quick to assure me that wasn’t the case and patiently answered all my questions. She directed me to call my bank and inquire as to why charge was denied which I did. Having been a Customer Service Manager for American Honda corporation, keeping an average CSI of 97.9% I truly appreciate Kylie Stones.
Yes, this is bait and switch. I wish everyone researches this company before booking with them. Low priced tickets on the site and get a call back that those prices are not available. And customer service then offers a different airport, airlines and much higher price !! DON'T USE this company !!!
Use this site at your own risk. I booked round trip airfare for 5 people from Tampa to Sacramento and was quoted a price of $311 per ticket. They took my credit card and, I assumed since the flights are shown as out going and return, they were available for purchase. The next day I received an email telling me to call their customer service number. Their representative told me the return ticket was not available and the best price I could get was almost twice what the original tickets were. I told him to cancel the transaction and he said it was not possible. I was stuck with them because the out going flight was available. Their site offers these low cost round trip “basic” tickets but it then recommends buying the “standard” tickets for twice the price! Be forewarned! They are going to screw you and they don’t offer any lube!
Had amazing Experience while booking my flight from Boston to Salt Lake City. Got great help from Mr Martin. He is so professional and understanding. I’ll recommend it everyone. I’ll surely get back to them again.
Do not trust this reservation system. My booked $258 r/t for 2 became $1078 the next day and the woman who called me was so happy to tell me that she was doing me a favor and giving me a 50 percent discount off of Delta's price. I thought it was a scam so I went directly to travelfro's web site and there once again were the cheap prices, but none of these prices were actually available. Classic bait and switch. She told me not to worry and after I paid the increased price I could check with Delta that it was legitimate...yeah, that sounds like a good plan.
SCAM!!!! They are show a price in the website that is with a really good price and after book the flight, they called me to offer other flight because they can provide a ticket with the price that was in the website. Flight from Delta Tampa Indianapolis May25 to May 29 for $150 and the called me to offer other fly from Orlando to Indianapolis for $300
This is a scam company. Booked a flight and I asked if my friend can get the same price so they called me they told me the amount I paid was merely to hold the reservation, and that the actual price was an additional $197 or more. I told them to cancel the transaction, they said it was non-fundable and I can get a crefit. I asked to speak to a manager she said the manager does not get on the phone. A COMPLETE SCAM. All the positive reviews here are fake. I called my cc company to dispute it. Also this company called me 5 times prob bc I told them they are a scam and reporting them
With all the confusion of air travel today. Carlos managed to filter through and navigate a lot of issues with these flights. He provided excellent service. Which is appreciated and should be commended for his effort.
PLEASE READ!! ALL THE COMMENTS ARE CORRECT This site travelfro its a Scam!! I booked my tickets Friday 01/13/23 from SJC.NAS they send me and email confirming the reservation, i wanted to reconfirm the next day the rep told me flight is full they could get me better deal went from $124.00 to $794 each person. THEY ARE FRAUDS tried to charge cancelation fee $229.00 the next day!!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Yes scammers. DO NOT USE THIS COOPANY. The prices listed are not true. They will send you a "reservation" confirmation email which does not include a real e-ticket, then they will call you to tell you that the prices listed are not available any more, or there is a glitch in the website that they are working on to fix, etc etc .. the charges come from the airline not from them. DO NOT USE. SCAMMERS!
I agree with the commenter above. This is a scam, like many such pages! Other pages that are pulling the same scam are, for instance, http://www.asaptickets.com, http://www.flightforall.com, http://www.hotflightdeals.com, etc. They all operate in the same way. The customer puts online all their details into their webpage thinking they are actually booking a flight, but in reality they just collect your data and they either call you or write you an email, telling you to contact them and when you do, they claim the flight is not available as such because of the airline changing prices, or that only coach flights are available, but they can upgrade you to economy class and then the ticket price becomes a really expensive one, not nearly anywhere from those prices they list on their webpage. They claim not to be a scam because they don’t charge your bank account and contact you to inform you that this particular flight that you have booked is not available anymore, but far more experience upgrades are. They also claim their website is not updated, or down… yet all year long/ 365 days a year their webpage shows the same cheap flights, but they are never available. IT IS A SCAM! Someone needs to inform the Inspector Generals in each State to start looking into this scam and to shut down those pages! I would be willing to go for a class action lawsuit against them all if anyone is interested to join! I want to add that www.flightfaredeals.com, www.travelfro.com, www.cheapfareshop.com, https://lookupvacations.com, https://us.jetcost.com, are also scam page with the same tactics as the webpages mentioned above. They all operate the same way as described above. I have tested them all. Thanks for taking your time to also write your experience on here. I will do that on other pages too.
Since I can't edid my comment above, I want to add that www.flightfaredeals.com, www.travelfro.com, www.cheapfareshop.com, https://lookupvacations.com, https://us.jetcost.com, is also a scam page with the same tactics as the webpages mentioned above. They all operate the same way as described above. I have tested them all.
Definitely a scammer...same guy works and answers customer service at travelfro.com and fareshope.com. Make the purchase, no e tickets sent, then a bs excuse and want you to pay hundreds more, use a different airport, travel different days...yada yada
