traveleuro.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives traveleuro.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 14.1. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 14.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to traveleuro.com's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning traveleuro.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between traveleuro.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of traveleuro.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of traveleuro.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. traveleuro.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether traveleuro.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether traveleuro.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, traveleuro.com.

Online Reviews of traveleuro.com

  • Score: 1.9
Currently in a dispute with them regarding a hotel which was not as advertised on their website. The hotel agreed to giving a full refund but Traveleuro never passed these funds on to me stating 'Traveluro is only responsible for booking accommodation deals for customers, not for providing accommodation services. Once the customer booked a reservation through our platform, we finished providing our paid service to the cardholder'.
Would have given 0 stars if it would have let me. I rarely write reviews like this but after repeat attempts, over several months, to get some customer service that is actually about the customer I now come here. Falsely advertise. Offer hotels with option that are not actually guaranteed (e.g parking). Ignorant to the actual detail of the complaint. Pass the buck to the hotel when the complaint is about them. Ignorant and incapable of considering/acknowledging their own mistake. No apologies, no reasonable offer to fix. Will now do what I can to make sure others stay clear.
Do not use this company. If for some reason your travel plans are unexpectedly canceled due to illness, mine was Covid 19, this company will not refund your money. I turned ill the day of travel and called the hotel where I was going and they completely understood and canceled my reservation. Traveleuro would not! They wanted proof! They wanted me to send them my medical records? They have refused to contact the hotel and verify the cancelation. So I paid $165 for nothing. Additionally check with the Better Business Bureau, look at their ratings for this company.
Worst company ever. They are kind of scammy, never answer support questions and the hotel has no information about my booking
I was on the phone for 28 minutes. Agent was trying to explain to me how "shared bathroom" is only shared if I have a companion with me…After insisting I don't want a room with a shared bathroom he promised that he changed it to a private bathroom, just to get the email confirmation that it's a Shared Bathroom. Also, he promised that the final price includes any and all fees. Surprise surprise! There was an additional fee on top of the price, tax and fees that they quoted on the phone.Do yourself a favor, book with a trusted company that doesn't play games and is upfront with you about any and all applicable fees.
AlI I want to do is Add a name to my reservation... And I cannot get a call that does not hang up on me after 15 times in a row... Because the website says I can add a name on the manage my booking page... Which will NOT work after many many times trying... So all you can do is go in circles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... DO NOT USE THIS "TRAVELURO" to book ANYTHING !!!!!
I've booked a Hawaiian Hotel in Kapolie for 3days. Lowest price I've seen and I've checked a lot of travel sites (i.e, Expedia, Kayak, Booking , etc.) Booked it and confirmed the hotel of my reservation. So far so good. Would recommend but with caution.
Still waiting for a refund after sending numerous emails trying to cancel my booking due to illness they are calling me a liar saying I didn’t try to cancel !! The hotel said they couldn’t cancel as I had booked through traveleuro and the phone no on travel euro app doesn’t work so only means of contacting was email I’ve sent several bot they don’t have the decency to reply I would never use them again it’s worst than a scam
Bad travel company. No way to reach out to them easily. Actual hotel agreed to cancel my reservation for a 25% fee since my plans changed but since booked with third party (this company) I have to go through them and they will not refund the 75%. Stay away.
Appalling company.Totally insensitive greedy b**tards!!!The worst of morally bankrupt corporate capitalists.NEVER EVER AGAIN !!
They are scam i book the hotel and tried to cancel on time witiin time frame. Their phone number is not working and no one answered. I do have a recording of all. Now no one us refunding my money . Scam scam scam
It's just simply a scam, there's really no way around it. I read about the tricks they pull, so I booked this hotel 2 months in advance so I had time and wouldn't get screwed over. I booked a hotel, gave it about 2 weeks, then called the hotel and was told the booking didn't exist. Calling support was a nightmare, it took me about a week just to get a hold of someone. Emails were never answered. I was told that the booking is legit and I should be getting a confirmation number I could provide the hotel. They sent nothing. Called again a week later, was told they'd send it, nothing. I called the hotel again and confirmed there was still no booking. I was contacted by Traveleuro the day of my trip and was told that my hotel was booked but they could move me to another, worse hotel. Pretty much the same trick they've run on many other people. So if you see a good price, don't bother. You won't get the hotel. This website is just a pure scam.
These people are a nightmare. 0 communication, hotel booked in the wrong city and no refund. Avoid at all costs.
prior review was not complimentary, after discuss w traveleuro updated as above
I paid $159 for the hotel room & another $46 in taxes & fees. If I had gone directly to the hotel it would have been $144 :-(
This is about Traveluro. Stay away from that company. Everything about them is scam and fraud.

“Pricing Catfish - lost $280 due to lack of transparency (Receipt: Trip #4995294)”

Horrible customer service and shady business practices. They hide resort fees to offer the "low rates" they falsely advertise. I was surprised by a $280 bill when I arrived at my hotel, AxelBeach in Miami, which TravelEuro denies any responsibility for. When I booked my trip, the total price of my package claimed to include "all taxes and fees". I tried to resolve this with both corporate and the BBB with zero response from them. Stay away - scammers. Attached is my receipt for the undisclosed fees I was charged, which is in violation of U.S. consumer fraud law and H.R. 4489 - the Hotel Advertising Transparency Act of 2019. H.R. 4489 declares that the practice of charging mandatory fees which are not disclosed WITH the advertised rate of a hotel room (excluding taxes and fees imposed by a government) is unfair and deceptive to consumers. (NOT hidden in the FAQ section of an expansive website). It expressly authorizes the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to enforce the legislation and also permits State Attorneys General to do so as well, coordinating with the FTC.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
