I ordered a lawn mower to be shipped to store. Granted, I had it shipped to the wrong store. While it was in transit, I got a customer service rep, who said the charge would be refunded, once it arrived and sent back. That didn't happen.I then ordered the same mower to be shipped to my house. Never arrived. So I had to dispute both charges with my CC company.Tractor Supply sent me a tracking number that was useless. Now I will have to order a more expensive mower locally. DON'T ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY!
It was bad enough that the staff is ENTIRELY unknowledgeable and unprofessional, now to hear it's ran by rightwingnuts it all makes sense. I hope this business tanks completely. TRAITORS.

Employees are treated horribly, the Columbia Missouri store is the worst. Witnessed several employees be mistreated by the manager, and by other employees along with customers. Cashiers get screamed and yelled at in the open. The company doesn't care about their employees, I've also noticed a lot of the customer base is nasty and entitled treating the cashiers like their own personal punching bags. Prices are too high, and employees over worked. Terrible company all around.
bought very expensive pressure washer Simpson, used 1year has 3yr warr.on engine 5 yr on pump 10nyr on frame honda engine made noise and stopped now won't run. called tractor supply was put in touch with repair service hauled pressurewasher to them as instructed and was told has not warranty because I put gas in it, so warranty is a joke and scam ,I would recommend stay away from Simpson, tractor supply as this company supports and sells products that really don't have any warranty even though you pay a premium price ,and are told the product has a warranty it is no good,apparently .very dissatisfied with tractor supply and their warranty scams.Dont n make the same mistake I did and buy from tractor supply
I placed an order online for a broom, I went to pick it up Friday night unfortunately the kid never put in the system that I picked it up so I got several emails telling me to pick it up and I just got one that canceled it. I’m not sure what you can do to update your system when somebody does order online and a pick up thanks.
Thank you for stopping all that DEI horse crapp in your company. Its probably the worst thing that's happened in the USA. As a business hire the best person for the job regardless of color or gender. Stopped at my local Tractor Supply 03561. Couldnt find what I was looking for on a Country Line Product. I stopped at front desk clerk informed me that she has never seen a 3 point hitch finish mower. Couldnt seem to navigate the computer to find the part. The pulley section at TS was missing 65 pulleys. Just bare shelves. She then left me to help someone else when I had not really been helped.Solution was I went outside and orderd one off from Ebay. It seems all you can get now at TS in 03561 is pet food.
I am disheartened and disgusted that TS discontinued DEI policies. I guess I will take my visible minority money elsewhere...Also, how dare TS charge a shipping fee for ship-to-store when they don't have the item in stock. Shame on TS all the way around.
Last two times I was ordering items I discovered TS requires the customer to pay shipping to my local TS store!Seriously????Every other retailer I know of says "SHIP FREE TO STORE".
Yesterday my son and I bought a gun safe from your store in Norco. Joanna helped us out and was knowledgeable, personable and even gave us an independent contractor to pick up 300+ lb. safe and install it up 3 flights of stairs! Plus the safe was on sale! We had a first rate retail experience there and commend your employee Joanna on her excellent customer service! Kudos on DEI/WOKE retraction as well. Know your customer and avoid Bud Light catastrophes!
Very misinformed on who they think their customer base is. Instead of cutting DEI programs and eliminating carbon emission goals, maybe you should take a good look at your CEO and consider cutting his $11 million salary. Clearly, the $2B loss of revenue has more to do with his leadership than DEI or the environment. FYI - the “customer base” of rural, white males is a shrinking group - it will be replaced by MORE DIVERSITY - no matter what the old white guys think. Your CEO will only continue to contribute to loss of revenue as the rest of your outcast customer base flees to other stores. You may see short term gains but in the long run those will diminish. Only reason I rated a star is because I had to to write a review. Tractor supply company should be ashamed to even have a business they should shut their doors. The employees at the Laurinburg NC are working in extreme heat because the store is without air conditioning. Yesterday it was 94 degrees outside and felt like 104 in the store. I could leave because I was too uncomfortable to even get my supplies but they have no choice if they want to continue working there. Absolutely inhumane!! I've never given a review in my life. After an article a man from Wisconsin wrote bashing tsc for deciding not to be woke, I raced to a minnesota store, spent 4900.00 to make up for the 200 bucks he won't spend there again.a company has the right to cater to whoever they want. I really try to adhere to a quiet life and be graceful but yesterday I went to the Stevenson AL location and an associate followed my almost 14 yo son around asking if he needed help and giving me dirty looks saying that stuff is heavy and helped him lift bags all the while he was saying "Thank you I am fine" and "I can do it" and then she proceeded to follow us to our car. My kids raise farm animals.... they can lift cat food and lime bags. They enjoy being helpful and pride themselves on increased responsibilities. I let him pay, pick his stuff out, etc.... he did great but was very uncomfortable as were we all. You dont follow someones kid (I had four boys with me) and comment on parenting or the allowance of a child to pick things out and become independent. He is a teenager for goodness sake. We wont be back. This with the tone deafness of the company's DEI mentality we will drive farther to local owned feed stores. Not worth it and keep your opinions to your self its not your job to judge a parent unless there is a situation that is dangerous. I was proud of him he kept saying no thank you, I can do it, she would not back off. I let him handle it because they have to learn to speak up respectfully but finally when she followed us to the car I turned and just stared at her from inside the truck as he and his brother (almost 13) loaded the stuff. She kept commenting this is just heavy and glared at me. It was just really weird. Who acts like that.... no more TS for this family.

“The corporate contact”

I reached out to corporate looking for toolbox parts. The lady that answered was rude and very unhelpful. She attempted to direct me to another company that I had already contacted (WernerCo) that had told me to contact tractor supply because they did not sell directly to the public. “Poor Quality Chicken Coop”

I purchased the Producer's Pride Producer's Pride Guardian Chicken Coop, 14 Chicken Capacity from Tractor Supply in March 2024. I paid for the assembling service Tractor Supplied offered. I had the coop assembled a few weeks before putting my chickens in the coop. I moved the chickens in the coop mid-April so have only been using it for a few weeks. I bought the product because it seemed easier than having a custom-built product and I liked the idea of two doors for entry, one in the enclosed coop and the other for the chicken run. I use the door on the chicken run at least twice a day once to let the chickens out of the coop in the morning and again to lock them up at night. The handle provided to slide the coop door open and closed jams all of the time making it imperative I open and close the door manually from inside the run. The latest problem is the chicken run door fell off. I spent an hour trying to figure out the issue and how to reattach the door then realized the top hinged pulled away from the door making it impossible to get the door reattached. I finally was able to pound the hinge back on the door to get the door reattached but now the door is sprung and does not close easily or tightly; it is a challenge every time I open the door to enter the run and then getting the door to close tightly to protect my chickens. Furthermore, I researched how to make the coop predator proof and found the wire openings on the chicken run were much too wide to protect the chickens from the likes of weasels and snakes so I went out and spent an additional $100 buying hardware cloth with a much tighter mesh. All and all I am very unhappy with the product. In total, I paid Tractor Supply $1,513.65 for the coop, assembly, shipping and tax plus I spent another $100 for the additional protective hardware cloth. I will probably end up having to replace this product to ensure my chickens are safe. I truly believe Tractor Supply should provide me with a refund. “Rude Manager”

I called the store in malakoff Texas at 1:00 pm to get information on a roadie order I had accepted the store manager Cassie answered the phone she was very rude and it was unacceptable I then told her l will just cancel the order then I thought about it and was like no l'll just file a complaint so I asked for her name and told her I would file a complaint she responded with I will just have you blocked from this store so I drive from Frankston Tx to malakoff Tx because I accepted the order I get to the store my order was canceled so l go into the store and ask about my roadie order she said I'm not going to allow you to take the order so you CAN LEAVE MY STORE if this is how tractor supply allows the managers to treat their customers this is very unacceptable and she didn't care because it's HER STORE. Carthage, TX store was told at 4:30 in the afternoon that the "side lot was closed" and they could not sell me 6 cattle panels….as two employees stood at the checkout. After driving nearly 30 minutes this was beyond inconvenient. Never in my life have I heard of such a thing.

“Online Rip Off”

Never order anything from TSC online and Never ever give TSC your debit card or bank account number. I am undergoing a nightmare with no end. Once they have it they will continue to use it. Their online store availability is at a completely disconnect from what stores actually have. If you change your order in any way they will send you double, return it and you will get charged freight and get no refund. Illegitimate Random Charges will appear weeks after. Changing your Debit Card will not help. Customer Service is a scam front all pleas for help need to "go to my supervisor". Run. Tip for consumers:Do not use this site. Products used:Hardware.

If I can shop elsewhere, I will! First off, they were not helpful in finding the item I was looking for. They had me running all over the store because they didn't know for sure where it was. Then my items rang up higher than the price marked. Had to argue with the cashier to get the marked price. “Bad customer solutions”

Ordered my husbands Christmas gift on the 17th of Dec. Yes, that's pushing itbut I paid for 1day shipping. Got a text that order was cancelled one minute before customer solutions closed on Dec.19. Then received an email saying that they didn't charge me! So what's the pre authorization hold on the money I need released so I can go somewhere else and get the present? They would much rather keep your money on hold and ruin your Christmas-and said item is still, 3 days later, there for you to order and them to cancel and hold your money. Trying to get a mower bought, though i found a good deal. Well they decided to lose my credit card information as i was checking out, even got financing through them. Thanks for nothing. Ill just go somewhere else. Literally completed my order and cancelled it 2 minutes later after i no longer had the window open. Doesn't even save when to tell it to on your account. “Terrible Customer Care”

Worst experience EVER. Placed an order for 192.002 items purchased not available so they just cancelled without notice. Other item they billed my card and then even though i gave them correct shipping info shipped to the wrong address. If that was not bad enough they only credited back my card the product shipped to wrong address but made me pay the freight. Then i called to get the rest of my credit the 1st time and was on hold for over 1 hour. I decided to call back and got it partially resolved. Now i have to wait for a check in the mail. “Weird at best, time waste”

It took forever to place the order - it takes minutes for every page to load. When done, got an email "thank you blah blah blah". A few minutes later, got another email "Your order have been cancelled" with no explanations. Called them, pushed endless buttons just to be told that the item is not available... “Bugs and mice in feed”

They sell feed to customers with bugs and mice in their feed. Not healthy for your animals. I asked the manager to fix the problems for 6 weeks straight. Still bugs and mice in feed. Looking for another feed company. I know because I use to work for them. They treat employees and customers with disrespect. I was bit several times by bugs, trying to clean the infestation that my boss refused to do and I have several bug bites on my arms and hand. Not a good place to work, not a friendly environment, not healthy for your pets and farm animals. People beware. “The customer reviews are fake”

I have ordered from them online several times and in most cases the service was as advertised. On at least 3 occasions I reviewed items that were not up to standard or that i considered dangerous, in an effort to warn others. When I submitted the reviews that were 1 or 2 star Tractor Supply rejected them and refused to post them, indicating they did not meet their standards. Consequently the items retain their 5 star reviews on line, when in fact if they were honest would have lower ratings. It makes me wonder how may other reviews are edited or refused because they rate the products lower than the company wants.

“Needed propane.”

Tractor supply is the nearest place for me to get propane and they close at 9 pm. I needed two 20 lb bottles filled. Get off work at 5:30 pm, drive to Tractor Supply and employee says they'll be right out. Then they tell me oh wait it's after 6, we can't sell propane after 6. There is nothing at the store or online stating this policy. You sell propane and you're open until 9 pm but you can't help me after 6 pm? Or maybe I should just take a day off from work to get my bottles filled? Better yet, if you can't sell me propane when it's 74 degrees and the sun is still shining because it's after 6 pm, you most certainly won't be selling me anything the rest of the day either. “Poor customer service”

We go out of our way to shop the Hanover tractor supply due to the fact it's cheaper but lately the service sucks. Besides on a Saturday there stock was not out from Thursday delivery the cashier argued about the product being there. I used to work in tractor supply I know all the fibs. I told her to check after rolling her eyes she did 15 in stock. She sent the other lady who wasn't busy to retrieve. The lady called on the radio to say the items were on the bottom of a skid n it b a bit. Ok after we waited about 15 minutes the other lady came up without our merchandise n was telling her life story to another customer as she was walking up with. “Uncooperative Company”

I have been waiting for two months for TSC to get a certain item in stock. I've spoken to four employees and received a different story from each one. The biggest surprise was when one told me that they "don't know what they'll be getting in until the truck gets there". What kind of company operates that way? I worked in various retail positions for 20 years and that is not the way to satisfy your customers. I'll adjust my needs, work around TSC'S unprofessionalism, and get what I need elsewhere. “When did it beome a daycare”

That last several saturdays when i have went in to do my regular shopping on of the girls that works there had her two kids with her at work. They were running around and yelling and climbing on things, or another time she had them in a basket next to the register yelling at them. This does not make for a pleasent shopping experience, not to mention those little guys could get hurt or hurt a customer by knocking something over. “Grove City PA store”

We were told by the manager at this location that there was no need to reserve 3 tons of wood pellets last week because they had plenty. Today after borrowing a trailer & making sure we had help to unload my husband went to pick up the pellets. Arrived at the store around 9:30am & was told they didn't have any all of the ones they had were reserved. The manager was a jerk when asked why didn't he tell us to reserve last week.
