Is touristjapan.com Legit?

Andy was very engaging and was happy to answer any questions asked about aspects of daily Japanese life as well as the history of Osaka. He is passionate about his adopted home and it was clear to see in his guiding.

It seems that Tourist Japan may be riding on the good reviews of the one day tours that they source from independent small companies (e.g city walks, night food tours,etc.) These short tours are booked (but not run) by Tourist Japan. Yes, these are great! However, If you want to know about what it's like to travel with Tourist Japan, look for the bigger 10 or 12 day package reviews which discus everything overall. 1 day tours may artificially push up ratings for Tourist Japan overall.

Tomas was very knowledgeable about the sites and transport. He took special care to make sure all members of the group were kept together and made me feel safe and stress free. This was a very enjoyable, informative tour. I highly recommend!

The tour was good, but wish it provided more in depth information. Being surrounded by thousands of tourists taking photos all the time is tiring, and a more off the beaten track tour would have been more my cup of tea.

Tomas was our walking guide. He was very informative and friendly. He answered all our questions. He did not rush us. He asked us if we needed a break often and wasn’t upset when we did. It was a lot of steps. I enjoyed this walking tour.

We travelled with our two daughters. Tomas was very attentive to their pace. In the end we took longer than expected, but we had a great time and learned more about Tokyo and Japan

Our guide was knowledgeable, courteous and very easy to understand. With that we felt comfortable to ask questions so that we could get a full appreciation about the people who call Japan home. We were pleased that in spite of the small number of our group that we were still shown and visited all places as if we were a big group. The tour guided by Tomas was great. He showed us main parts of Tokyo and its culture, with a unique style given by his knowledge and funny personality. Every question that was made was answered in a very good way and the group dynamic flowed really well. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Tomas did a really nice job. He is a good communicator, had a good understanding of the places we visited, and answered all questions. This tour is a good way to get an overview and history of Tokyo and see some of the highlights. Be prepared for a lot of walking, which is the best way to really immerse. A good, full day.

Tomas is an excellent guide. He connected well with each one of us in the group and gave us valuable insights of Japanese history before showing us the Imperial Palace, Sensoji Temple, Meiji Shrine, Fashion Street and Shibuya crossing. I can’t say enough about how amazing our tour guide Seiji was! We visited Asakusa, Senso-Ji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, Imperial Palace, had the coolest Sushi Experience at Kura, walked Takeshita Street in the Harajuku district, and walked the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. We also learned how to use the subway/train system, took a rickshaw ride, and tasted many great sweets/confections along the way. We experienced the best of Tokyo for the day with a fantastic, knowledgeable and fun tour guide.

Tomas is a wonderful guide. We took the small group tour of Tokyo and couldn’t have been happier. Tomas covered the historical information for the areas we toured, but also provided us with plenty of good to know stuff for our current stay. The weather was extremely hot, but he set a relaxed pace. Very happy with tourist Japan and Tomas.
