totaltools.com.au Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives totaltools.com.au a pretty low trust score on the platform: 15. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 15 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to totaltools.com.au's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning totaltools.com.au, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between totaltools.com.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of totaltools.com.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of totaltools.com.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. totaltools.com.au is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether totaltools.com.au has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether totaltools.com.au boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check

I purchased a 2 in 1 saw /hedge trimmer kit + loppers - not cheap. First my order was cancelled, Contacted customer support & my order was then delivered I was extremely disappointed to open the box, no battery!I now have a tool I cannot use, I have contacted customer support but still haven't heard yet...Talked to a customer service representative today (17/7)they said they will rectify the missing items - the local store also contacted me afterwards saying they would deliver them tomorrow.I am pleased that I was able to contact someone, will hopefully get my items now....
Couldn’t find a minus stars, bugger.I telephoned 22nd June for a item, paid cash. Called in a few days later pick up. Told item had to be ordered.Called in after 10 days still not in! Then telephoned yesterday and informed might be mid august. What poor service, don’t advertise items if you cannot get in.
Redemption mis leading advertising, be careful to check if the product with a sticker price tag saying is a redemption product is actually redeemable. wonder how many others will find the DLX2145T DRILL COMBO Not Redeemable. very sneaky, must be owned by Woolworths or Coles, AND THEY DONT CARE IF YOUR TIME IS WASTED
Would be zero stars, but that's not an option.Price-match is absolutely laughable.Applied online for price-matching, same product, same model, same numbers.(Only did it online, so I wouldn't have to "fluff around" looking up websites on my phone in the shop, ffs).Customer "service" tells me that the price I submitted is not from an authorised dealer. So I went to the Milwaukee website, only to find that the seller with the better price IS an authorised dealer.Replied with this information to TT CS, then was told that the competitor wasn't an *online* retailer, so they couldn't price-match.Ah, I'd never asked for that, as I was going to pick up in-store or do a click and collect. Was told I needed to provide evidence of postage price from competitor to my address (why, when I was going in-store?).The competitor and TT stores are a couple of streets apart, so really easy for me to drive to either. And guess who just lost a loyal customer of many years, over a $9 price difference? Can promise that it wasn't the competitor...
Online is a waste of time… I’ve been loyal to my local store but now they don’t accept phone orders and the online (a seperate ‘store’) system is a waste of time trying to deal with… I’ll use up my rewards points and swap to a different store chain… not happy, Jan
Purchased a tool worth $135 back in early April 2024 have been waiting over a month. Went to customer service and had no help and took ages to return a reply and said that it’s been delivered on the 21st of may well over a month already and the tool still hasn’t arrived didn’t get a refund either NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Purchased a Bosch Demo Hammer. Has never worked properly, repaired under warranty. Still not working, apparently I have buyers remorse! All I want is a working hammer for my $1500. I'll never buy another Bosch item or purchase anything from Total Tools again.
Just very disappointed, I bought a pair of replacement brushes for a tool. I resisted using Ebay in favour of supporting a local-ish business. 9 business days later they have my money, but the product is still sitting on the shelf. tiny product. pop it in an envelope, print out label, job done. er nahNext time I'll go to Ebay or Amazon - there in lies the reason the smaller companies are losing ground. Its because Amazon ship stuff rapido and the businesses on Ebay want your business.
Total Tools promised to deliver a product to store within 5 days which I paid for upfront. 2.5 weeks later I find out that they “bundled” my item with other orders and left it waiting until a sufficient volume accrued to make a delivery worth while, don’t worry about the customer and promises made. This isn’t the first time they have proven untrustworthy and unreliable. Not recommended.
Thank God there are alternatives. Spent over $2500 on tools and consumables there at Penrith. Ok stock but the staff are dropouts. Arrogant wannabes who probably despise customers that can afford what they can't.
Staff have always been friendly towards me and helpful where possible, stock is usually on hand and when it does need to be ordered has arrived in a timely fashion. My go to local tool store
Stores look nice but employees no nothing about the products. Total tools web site is awful for contacting a human. I ordered a bottle of Nitrogen Gas on 22/OCT prepaid $199. Heard nothing about order a week later went in person said they would look into it , got no feed back, another week still heard nothing, week later still no feedback. Total Tools have a system problem, train your employees in the trades. The thing is if you are a skilled tradesmen you won't be working in sales unless you physically you cant work in the trade . I get a general feeling Australia is being deskilled and deindustrialized.
After constant messaging Re sale for 5ah batteries today , went into store this morning that they were all gone in under an hour .. no rain checks ,& the young lady could only come up with sorry about that .. after driving 45 mins to closest store a waste of time .. why not a text saying sold out as they obviously totally mismanaged the stock that would be needed .. goodbye total tools , hello Sydney tools in the future
Toowoomba customer service is not even worth one star, the guy working there said I don't care if you spend millions of dollars here we won't replace your faulty battery. It has to be sent to Brisbane and checked. No Integrity or any thought of helping the customer. There attitude is we can do what we want the customer is always wrong. They put the blame on the Manufacturer
I just wished I had read these reviews before placing an order with this company, which are well named and are total tools. The communication once my order was placed was nil. At no stage was I informed that my item was out of stock, weeks later I was told my purchase was on back order and would not be available up to March 2021.After purchasing so much on line with COVID-19, with many Companies and having received such an awesome experience, I was totally let down by this Company. Don’t go there other wise you will regret.
I bought a drill from a lo al company in Athlone.First time ever as i wanted to support local business.I had the drill 2 mnths and it packed up.Now a month and half later im still sitting without a drill.Makr mr wonder is TOTAL a good product as even my cheapy drills lasted me 3 to 5 yrs in the past.Customer service is really bad
Recently, I started having problems with my pressure washer Karcher K5 hose (under warranty), took it back, and got told that it would be sent to Karcher for checking and hopefully repairing it.Guess what? It never got sent to Karcher, I received a call to come back to pick it up from the store, and that was it.The sales staff told me that I had to purchase the hose from them because there was nothing else they could do. They actually didn't do anything apart from lying to me.
Ordered a workbelt, they took the money, realised I hadn’t received any updates after 2 weeks on the delivery, turned out they never had it in stock but just left it, didn’t call or email at all. So I had to called them and they finally got back to me telling me a week or so. A month after my original order and all the run around and they said it’d be another month, when I tried to communicate after Rechelle quickly refunded it and told me she couldn’t help me any further because I no longer had a active order
Odered and paid for a Bosch planer online. I received a returned/ex display unit that was dusty and had scratches on it. When I put up a very polite review of my experience on thier Facebook page they promptly took it down. Really disappointed with thier online purchasing.
I do not understand why customer service people feel the need to be so dishonest. When I called and asked how long a click and collect would take for stock that is available at the store, they stated 30mins to one hour max. We are a business that requires the products to complete our daily routine. And it has been over one hour and we still do not have the confirmation email. The hours in the day are running out. So Why do companies make it so difficult to purchase anything these days. And NO it can not be blamed on Covid. The stock was there as it was check via phone call before placing the order. #nothappy

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
