toptenreviews.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives toptenreviews.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 88.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 88.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to toptenreviews.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning toptenreviews.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between toptenreviews.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of toptenreviews.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of toptenreviews.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. toptenreviews.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether toptenreviews.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether toptenreviews.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, toptenreviews.com.

I got properly informed and thanks toptensitesreviews.com I made my best decision for choosing Hostinger platform to my online-shop. Thanks toptensitesreviews.com
Top-10 Reviews rates Driver-Booster made by IOBit as their best? IOBit has a terrible reputation. The Chinese company has a history of programming theft followed by their chutzpah-ish claims that they developed it. MalwareBytes successfully sued them for their outrageous claims. Much of their premium services can be performed better by others' free programs. And speaking of chutzpah, Top-10 Reviews displays a large amount of it with this "rating."
Their review of Panasonic DVD-S700 DVD player inaccurately stated it worked in all regions. The box clearly states that it ONLY works in region 1. Twenty people who responded to questions in Amazon re: this DVD stated it ONLY works in region 1. I tried to let them know of this misleading info in their "contact us" to no avail. Clicking "contact us" just leads back to their bogus site. They clearly don't have any interest in truth.
I chose Teleflora online flower delivery service after reading the Anna Burleson APRIL 23, 2018 review. It's great that she, or Top Ten Reviews, had one okay experience. I am just wondering how you can ignore the vast amount of bad reviews that they have when writing an article? Shouldn't that be considered in an unbiased review? If you look at other sites where actual customers leave reviews or check with Consumer Affairs, you will see that the majority of consumers are completely unhappy with Teleflora.
This is an advertising site, a ranking of how much money they have recieved to put stuff in their list.It is not independent at all, there is no evidence that they have carried out a proper review of the products they promote. In my experience whatever appears in Top Ten Reviews should be avoided at all costs, quality software publishers do not use this site.
my honest say is Stay away from toptenreviews.com. I was misled by their review. To me this website is not thing but third party sales agent to the merchant services listed. t his site has no option even to let the consumers to review their experiences. For example Elavon is listed in their site as merchant services based on my own experience it is the most ripoff processor one could imaging. Especially if one has an accent like me is a prey. Therefore I do not belive the recommendation or the lists toptenreviews.com to be all genuinely true. thanks
I am reading reviews for refrigerators and 'top Reviews' listed Samsung and LG, according to ALL repairmen these are the worst two to get repaired. We had a Samsung and NOT one repairmen would touch it. Also, had a LG washer under warranty a repairman had to come from 100 miles and did not fix the washer. LG NEVERask if fixed, to date not repaired. That repairman would not come back because LG would not reimburse him.
Do not trust these people to tell you the truth. They get paid to lie to you and get you to buy or sign up for terrible products and services.Their reviews are constantly at odds with legit review sites. Check out their review of Viasat (Exede) internet service, then check out the 768 customer reviews and complaints here at the consumeraffairs website. Google it.
Horrible company.Reviews not based on facts at all. Just a money maker to put companies on their list. No integrity, not surprising, millennial age employees, if you can call them that. The real crime is this company comes up first for rating anything, of course using Chrome, which is Google, so it all fits. To get paid and not work.
Toptenreviews is basically a site that gives the best review marks to companies that pay them for advertisement. They claim to help customers reach informed decisions, but the only important thing for them is putting money in their pockets. I don't trust them.
My daughter found a recommended antivirus on this site, she installed it and it turned out to be one of those scams which falsely "detect" a virus and give a phone number for you to ring a scammer who'll charge you for "removing it" and probably add a few malware whilst they are at it.In the past I too have been misled by them, on closer investigation of their top recommendations I've discovered the product in question lampooned by angry customers. This site is not trustworthy at all.
Was researching a software, found that it got about 1-star average on Amazon, for not working, bad CS, etc. But was TOP RATED to toptenreviews(!)
First I thought it's a serious site. Than I began to read the reviews, how they made them. Just an example: They tested bookshelf speakers with an average amp through the AUX port! LOL :DAnd just look at the results. Clearly paid ads, no real value behind the reviews. Stay away.
Don't trust this company. Where can you even leave a review? Big companies pay them to write and make them look like a high rated company. I'll give you an example. Ebay on there website said is a 5 star. Please look up Ebay anywhere else that is legit and they are rate a 2 star if that. Beware selling on ebay!
They are at Amazing Clubs which references this review. They don’t tell you it’s a paid recommendation. This is not ok. Stay away!
Just check their review of Gmail and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Funny that you can't find a way to post a review on this site...

“PAID LIARS AND THIEVES.”
Hi, Just read a review written by a " Rebecca Armstrong June 27,2018" of toptenreviews. Complete lies. Absolute BS. Having been with the phone carrier for 4 years, have seen the customer service, moved from Florida, to the Philippines, now to mexico then my account info gets compromised... or sold to on some mexican scam I lost over $700.00 just taken in prepaid time even though I have real receipts. They actually laughed and hung on my turning my phone off. And this low life liar and thief from toptenreviews who says toptenreviews has so much integrity in their investigated reporting. LIARS Let's them try and lie their way out of hell. There is No anonymity in Judgement, Burn in hell you liars and thieves.
“Absolute tosh!”
Absolute tosh! Cannot believe it features highly in searches. There should be a campaign against them as they continue to mislead many. I was shocked at their 2014 tablet reviews as they were highly promoting certain products which were lambasted by independent reviewers. And then they scored Microsoft Surface 10/10 for features... need I say more?
“TopTenReviews.com SCAM”
TopTenReviews.com SCAM Site claims to offer trustworthy reviews of third party sites, software, electronics, etc. They are a paid reviewer. Where a reviewer is paid, the review can and will be biased. They appear to review everything yet they specialize in nothing. They list links and graphics ads directly linked to product suppliers. They appear to be nothing more than an electronic catalog. When thinking of using this site for its advertised purpose, consider this, would a Sears catalog offer negative opinions about products they stand to benefit from. Forums are usually your best bet as they are entries from real people not corporations. A short study proves this to be the case.
“I feel foolish that I ever gave this site any credit,...”
I feel foolish that I ever gave this site any credit, having been on the internet since the 90's. The site looks good and sounds professional. Unfortunately, nothing that they say is true. I bought Blu-Ray Ripper software and, $50 later, was sorely disappointed. It's happened with other stuff I looked at them for too.
“When looking at what reputable sites say vs”
When looking at what reputable sites say vs. this one (and forum responses), it is absolutely clear that this site is promoting products without basis. It isn't a leap of logic to determine why. There is a kickback involved; They are only listing the non-top products to make themselves look authentic.
“(Who watches the watchers?)”
Bad meta review: Their reviews are untrustworthy. You cannot contact them, or comment on their poor work product. It would appear that they are interested in hawking the stuff they are reviewing, since they are getting advertising revenue from links inside the review. 'Nuff said.
“Fraud MTS company”
You will be cheated if you buy MTS device. At the time of delivery their executive will present you lucrative offer, once you buy they will not listen. Even their customer care did not respond you properly as always give you fake solution like we are working in your area and services will be back in 2-3 weeks. Their 2-3 weeks will never come. So I request you all guys keep away with this company. Thanks
“Well, I have to agree with the others”
Well, I have to agree with the others. I read a recently published review of Top 10 Radar Detectors for 2015. I've been testing detectors since 2008, and the review list was laughable. It was obvious to me the reviewer had no clue as to what he was reviewing, or how they work and perform.
“Not worth the visit at all, dont waste your time.”
If you are looking for a side by side matrix forget about it, they don't do that anymore, this site is a massive ad space seller with no real scientific look at products, it's a giant bill board and not a darn thing else. This is no where near a top ten review site. Save your time because by the time you read the crap they copied you could do that yourself. This is a garbage site.
“A product I needed was topmost on this rating scale”
A product I needed was topmost on this rating scale. My anti-virus checkers refused to let the #1 rated product (by them) download. It was completely unsafe. It seems as though most others find their ratings as useless as I did. Tip for consumers:Ratings by Top Ten Reviews are useless despite their advertising.
“The reviews for the service I was interested in were...”
The reviews for the service I was interested in were too cursory to be useful. It really seems like nothing more than a way to promote the businesses being reviewed/ sell clicks. It looks pretty but not to be taken seriously.
“Rexxum AI platform is the best”
This is an awesome app, I couldn't say enough good things about it, the AI platform is great and I fully recommend it guys. You can earn and still meet up with your day to day activities, it's simply a smart and efficient way to earn. Tip for consumers:They have great customer service you don’t have to worry Service Value Returns Quality
“This site is a joke”
This site is a joke. This site only makes their money on money. Meaning, that everyone they refer, Top10 makes an affiliate commission. When you are "lucky" enough to be part of their review section, they require a $1000. 00 minimum for you to even carry their logo on your site along with "booting" you out of their program if you give less sales commission than what the other top three give. In other words, pay toptenreviews.com a hefty commission and, BOOM, you have top rating. I would rather depend on a "back door doctor" than ever use these people for any type of legitimate review. I hope in due time these people are out of business.
“Complete scam reviews - affiliate site in disguise”
Toptenreviews.com is a scam site. They say that they review the top ten apps in the market, but the fact is that they put in 9 bad pieces of software and then one that is good. Which they make affiliate money from. It is not possible for other vendors to get on the list, so be aware of this affiliate scam site. They ratings are not trustworthy. Tip for consumers:Don't use it. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Scam!”
Schill site paid to promote good reviews. I think they also hire people to review them as legit. Notice that the 3 5 stars in these reviews are a person with 1 review and 2 people who say they go to TopTenReviews for everything. Those both have rated a psychic website as 5 stars two. I bet paid fake reviewers.
“I have gone to their site several times when researching...”
I have gone to their site several times when researching for a product that I want to buy. I am glad this site is here because I thought it was only me that felt this same way about the site. I no longer use it as I have very little faith in what is posted on it.
“TopTenReviews IS A SCAM!”
After proper research, a TopTen business should get at least one product right. (At least a good rating from Consumer Reports). These money grubbers miss the mark. Seek true sources - Google there reputation before heeding their advice.
“The site is a joke”
The site is a joke. Just looked at cable modems and the one they recommended rated 10/10 and said it was the only docsis 3.0 modem that you could buy retail and not through your ISP. That is a complete 100% untrue statement. I can't believe they would even say something so obviously fake.
“Looking at toptenreview.com web hosting reviews...”
Looking at toptenreview.com web hosting reviews... It's funny as a rubber crutch! I don't know how they can say they are legit when their website has different urls and when you visit the page, the top ten changes depending upon which website hosting you have visited.
“They are completely fake, they get paid to uprate items,...”
They are completely fake, they get paid to uprate items, and are owned by the same guy who owns herman street.com, so he puts the items he sells on his site on the top 3 of the ratings for some of the items, then when you try to buy the product from his site, they $#*! you around and try to take your money without giving you a valid product key.
“I came across toptenreviews.com when I was doing research...”
I came across toptenreviews.com when I was doing research to choose a platform for a new e-commerce site for my company. I took toptedreviews.com's advice and signed up for their #1 rated company. It was a total disaster. Then I started doing more research online about the company I was trying to use to build my site, and it had lousy reviews. Only then did I notice that toptenreviews.com doesn't let users rate the products. Their reviews seem so technical, but I believe that they're getting financial kickbacks from the companies that they rank highly. I'll never trust their reviews again.
“Scam Affiliate Site”
I was looking at the questions for a Bluray burner on Amazon and many people suggested going to TopTenReviews. I never heard of the site but I decided to check it out. I'm an audio and video professional, and am a frequent contributor to an international audio publication specializing in recording for musicians. Their choices, and even their product comparisons, are absurd. In the audio recording category, they include both Sony SoundForge Pro 10, and Steinberg WaveLab (both real pro-audio choices) in the review. I personally reviewed SoundForge 10 a couple years ago for the magazine and use both SoundForge 11 and WaveLab 8 in my studio. Their misrepresentations of the features of both products are enormous. I found similar representations, and many more omissions in their reviews of Video software. I would not trust the site for any information. Their one goal seems to be to sell affiliates' products. Tip for consumers:Don't believe anything they say! Quality
“Rexxum AI app”
This is the best app i have seen now that offers full transparency and with the assured 100% returns. Tip for consumers:just follow the process Service Value Returns Quality
“Amazing website I rely on them to look for reviews...”
Amazing website I rely on them to look for reviews about anything computer related from websites to software and hardware. I was looking at their reviews with top10 blogging services and that was good. The software reviews are pretty good as well, I was googling trying to find a review comparison on File Compression tools and came back here, their review was excellent! However I don't know whether the anti-spyware softwares and the registry fix/cleaner software reviews are credible. Hope they didnt earn a good place because its a business deal. Then finally, the mobile software reviews. I use blackberry and their review on blackberry is bad! The top recommendations are paid versions of what you could get free in other mediums. The problem is this 2010 review is not updated at all. There are tons of awesome bb apps out there and they somehow chose some useless apps putting them up as top 10. In conclusion, for checking out the great bb apps go to crackberry and berry reviews. This website is a safe and really useful site and atm can't find a better computer products review center.
“My go to site”
I go to this site before I buy anything! Their reviews are pretty accurate when it comes to products and services.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
