I've used TopCV twice, and both times they've given me honest accurate feedback and helped create a great document that ticks all the right boxes.I used the middle tier service, and while the usual marketing emails for upselling came through, this didn't stop them from sticking to the agreed agenda.Most important was the fast, and efficient service and communication that I received from the entire team. Always friendly and professional, they stayed connected and I did not need to nudge for progress reports.The resume the presented was elegantly written with an easy-to-read word structure, and used fact based descriptions that were well presented.While I fed them the ideas on who I am and what I represent, they were able to rephrase my thoughts succinctly.The entire experience simply exceeded my expectations, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Please before you purchase from this company it’s a not uk company all of their staff are based in India and use fake names in order to increase their credibility. They are deceptive liars who lie about your cv review in order for you to purchase their service once you purchase your service they won’t change anything about your cv but claim it meets their standards .they will comment below my review and claim to reach out to them but they ignore you for the most .they will not offer you a refund

I chose the second-best package as described, but unfortunately, the CV writer, Craig A., was very slow and failed to update my CV properly. Most of it was just copied and pasted from my existing CV, and frankly, I think my original version was better than what he delivered. I can't even use the CV he provided for any applications, so I’m still relying on my old one. Customer service has been non-existent, with only a bot promising contact within 24 hours but never following up. Honestly, I believe companies like this should be investigated by a watchdog for overcharging and delivering subpar service.

The writer was really helpful, friendly, responsive. The CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile were really well written and looked absolutely professional. The writer translated my long-winded descriptions into succinct, perfectly accurate short paragraphs and bullet points that made me think, "Heck, I'd hire me!"She was also quick to answer questions and give advice and responded really respectfully to my suggestions during the revision process.

Rubbish and liars. Not worth spending your hard earned £79 on these bunch. They are no professional they just write up anything that doesn't even rank upto 30% on the job ATS out there. At least before I handed them my cv, I was getting invites to interviews. Now, "Unfortunately"comes faster than when I submit the cv they made for me. Really waste of time and money. TopCV's review slated it and told me the exact same thing they appear to be telling just about everyone else. Reading through the reviews on here, both positive and negative, I see the same responses from TopCV over and over again, almost as though they've been copied and pasted from a list. Over and over again people refer to AI having written a CV which does not align with their expectations. The internet seems to have become overrun by people providing sub standard goods and services at inflated prices. I've been stung before and am very sceptical about putting anything of any value in the hands of faceless 'service' providers.Like everything else in life, if I do decide to have my CV professionally rewritten I will find an actual person who I can interact with face to face.

An awful experience with TopCV. I opted for both, Cover Letter and CV. When I received a first draft, I was shocked at the substandard work - total garbage written by ChatGPT. Yes, they use AI and lie about it. When you sign up, you're promised a professional writer, HR expert, coach etc. In the end, the outcome was worse than I could do myslef. Amateur work. Cover letter~ information overload. Just copied everything I wrote on my "old" CV and put on "Cover" letterCV: again, they put everything I sumbitted on a piece of paper and gave it back to me. Just MUCH WORSE. No layout…… very cluttered just a lot of information, incorrect termonitology, a made up experience, obsolete or incorret language etc. Made my cry.Even though I had 2 revisions, it only got worse and I can see more AI USED to draft the CV, the text did not even make sense. No Professonal or HR expert would ever write like this.It was one of the worst services I’ve ever used and total waste of time and money.

I had an awful experience with TopCV. I paid for both a CV review (£50) and a LinkedIn review (£89). Not only did the LinkedIn review NEVER happen, but when I complained, they completely ignored my request for a refund. As for the CV review, it was weeks late, and when I finally got it back, it was horrible! They basically took my existing CV, deleted random parts, messed up the formatting, and sent it back as if it was an "improvement." It was one of the worst services I’ve ever used. Total waste of money! Avoid at all costs!

You can yield the same (word by word) results by using the free chatGPT model. If you're not happy with paying £100 for that you will be assigned 'another writer' to, essentially, write your CV yourself. Try getting your money back... It's like talking to a tape recorder. Stay clear of this scam!

I received a fresh and new wording focused in my professional achievements. I also got few tips of what to add and not add in the CV. I liked the new CV layout. My interaction with the writer worked well. Generally speaking I am happy with the results.

What information you will fill up in their website, they will use it to add in in a basic, simple CV. They don't add any relevant information, only inappropriate things. They're using AI (ChatGPT), and they don't even bother to change the language back to British English. They don't follow or even read your instructions, they don't tailor it to your industry. It took them 2 weeks to come back with an AI written CV, which you could write in elementary school. After I asked for refund, there is 0 response! Please be aware.

AI Generated -My CV & Cover letter were written by AI -Writer was not responsive -Format was horrible. All what I have been taught not to do, was in this CV: buzzwords, long summaries of 7+lines, unnecessary wording, not highlighting technical skills across my work experience. Finally, the guy tries to pass the ATS and it completely failed relative to what I was asking for. I asked for a certain position tittle, the ATS highlighted all what I said I did not want to highlight. Plus no word of my skills. Also the ATS experience did not add up to 100%, so I was missing some work experience. And no mention of my studies. HORRIBLE! I guess I had a very "smart" and lazy guy writing my CV and I hope TopCV solves this and compensates for the time lost in a correct manner. Update 08.05.2024 This is getting even worse. I have been asking about this to their support team and I haven't got an update for 3 days. As I investigated these guys have a bunch of people working from cheap countries (Vietnam.).. TopCV does very good marketing of their services and would lure you into paying them for using their services. However, they deliver a poor quality service in the end and will not be able to fulfill your requirements. I paid and bought the services to write a CV and cover letter for me. They assigned a CV writer named Morgan to me. I clearly articulated all my requirements to him and what I expect as results of ATS report from the new CV. He developed the draft CV which looked ok to me. I rectified and collaborated with him on the final output. Finally, I asked him to deliver the ATS report to me. The report showed my role as a junior person instead of a leader. I reached out to Morgan to rectify the same. Initially, he responded by telling me that he would help me fix the issue but after a few days, he stopped responding and never delivered the corrected CV. I would not recommend using TopCV services to anyone. They are expensive and deliver low-quality outputs which won't be able to meet your requirements. My advice is to go forward with some other service provider. The biggest blunder is the non-availability of a person to whom you can provide your feedback in the end about the services delivered. They simply vanish. Do not use this company. The versions of my CV and Covering letter they sent me all looked like they had been put together using a BOT and not an actual person. Despite my providing feedback several times (including asking them to correct job titles that had been added for roles that I had clearly not had), I was consistently sent documents that I would have been ashamed to send out. I recognise that it is difficult to put together a CV for someone you don't know, but given the cost, I would have expected at least documents that flowed grammatically, and that had vague suitability to my career aspirations. I was refused a refund despite it being clear that their service had been abysmal and that the documents provided were unusable. This is a complete waste of time service. You feed them with your existing CV along with sample jobs adverts and you are assigned any writer (It could be a dustbin clearer) will compose a draft CV base on the their format for all their customers. In turn you will get opportunity to highlight the draft CV for further improvement. Overall, great service but poor quality of work!
