tigo.com.co Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives tigo.com.co a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to tigo.com.co's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning tigo.com.co, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between tigo.com.co and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of tigo.com.co. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of tigo.com.co, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. tigo.com.co is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether tigo.com.co has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether tigo.com.co boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, tigo.com.co.

Tigo is terrible ! Web sites are so bad programmed. Always problems to pay the bills. Service is zero.
Cancelled service in June of home service. Told I needed to pay an extra month and return the equipment which I did exactly as per instructions. Continue to get billed and harrassed by automatic system. Impossible to reach customer service and when i do I reach incompetent representatives who are very poorly trained based on their poor responses to basic questions. I recommend avoiding this company if possible as they are aggressive salesmen who make it easy to join and next to impossible to quit. If this was the USA the FCC and consumer advocacy would be on top of this very dangerous company. AVOID TIGO LIKE THE PLAGUE!! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF POORLY EDUCATED COLOMBIANS.
TIGO absolutely is the worse internet service you will experience in your lifetime. Don’t waste your money go somewhere else 👎🏼🙅🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
I bought an esim online but when trying to activate I receive an error message. The whats app support is useless.
My wife and I are back to fix the first complaint we have Tigo on a prepaid plan. I am Canadian and she is Colombian. We have been lied to, miss lead and now told we have to pay an entire month $100,000 COP and not get any service. They continue to be the worst phone company and personal experience I have had in Colombia. You need a phone/internet plan but the deception is completely off the charts.. Do not use this company it horrible. The customer service is horrible. There are better choices most likely ever other company. They are a disgrace and reasons the Colombian culture has a bad reputation. If you don't want to change behaviors then the culture will continue to be dishonest and untrustworthy.
Poor service, I pay for the all year service even if I use two months only and when I like to use the service is sometimes not available. I pay for the triple service tv wifi phone, tv was down twice in one week, please note that the bill is paid. They do not honor their service and don’t refund the down time. It is poor quality at best. They need some decent competition to learn how to improve. And if I call the 800 service is not available so I have to wait for tomorrow, like I have all day to take care of Tigo and pay for it!Too bad as they make Colombia look bad too!
On Friday my internet was gone, again, happens 2-3 times a month. I call the service center and I get the standard answer, you must wait 1-3 days before a technician come. Today Monday , already 3 days whiteout internet. I call again and complaint why still no technical service ? The service center simply cut my call. If you want the worse internet and the baddest service you can imaging take TIGO. Today Tuesday, still no internet, now the 5 day !! I call again and the answer from the service girl was : you must wait, can take 3 days more!! Unbelievable this service.Today Wednesday 6 days now still no internet. The girl on service center promises that today somebody will come between 2pm and 6pm now is after 7pm and nobody was here. Only lies. Worst service I ever has.Thursday today 7 days whiteout internet!! Call again again and now is on Friday that service come. RIDICULOUS!!Friday. Now a week whiteout TIGO internet. I change provider, enough is enough. Only lies about the technician service. company from cheaters and liars.Today Monday I was 3h on phone for stop my contract with TIGO, they cut my call 3 times and let me endless waiting, but now I finish with this hopeless company.
Is there any way to make a payment in Tigo Colombia? I am canadian and I cannot make any online payment since they won't accept international cards
Son unos estafadores te obligan a continuar pagando y no hay manera de que te quiten el servicio y se burlan de la gente lo que no saben es que mi caso lo veremos en tribulaciones
unable to pay bill from USA because these idi#ts block my IP address.. cancel service and run away from them.
I had an account with Tigo for 4 years. O needed a tech to come to my apt to fix a problem. I had 4 appointments, the first was supposed to be from 7 to 5 on a Saturday. I waited, no one showed up. 3 more appts later I decided that was enough. So I went to their main office at Las Molinas Mall. After waiting about an hour they wouldnt talk to me without my original cedula. So I had to go home to get it.When I went back and waited additional time before I met with someone. The agent said my service would be terminated on Sept 30. In early Sept I sent my modem back to Tigo.It is now December and they are still sending me invoices. I have tried to contact them thru their website but they have a stupid list of options none of which have anything to do with real customer service.Today I happened to walk by another major Tigo office. I thought I would give it another try. But, I only carry a copy of my cedula and once again they would not help me without the original. If this company was in the USA it would have been shut down by the FCC long ago.Stay away, stay far away.I went back to Tigo today with my original cedula. After waiting 2 hours I finally met with a nice young lady who took all of my information, including a copy of the return label for the modem. She filed a report that should finally end this nightmare. But Tigo's response might take a few weeks. It is case closed if you dont see another update.
After using a Togo SIM card my phone and the phone of my friend both don’t recognize any SIM card any more. Also no service anywhere. Just go for claro!
I had a tigo plan In medellin to charge my cellular as I use it somehow they changed it to a plan and started charging me monthly so I returned and paid the amount I owed like always which was 88,000 peso which seemed high then 20 days later they wanted 92,000 so I went to the office in Niquia to have them change it back and they refused unless I paid 92,000 pesos but I never gave them permission to change my plan, total scammers

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
