thistle.co Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives thistle.co a medium trust score on the platform: 58.7. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to thistle.co's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning thistle.co, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between thistle.co and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of thistle.co. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of thistle.co, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. thistle.co is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether thistle.co has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether thistle.co boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, thistle.co.

I switched from CookUnity to Thistle for the summer due to the lack of ice packs CU provides during the sweltering summer heat. Thistle has been excellent so far. They have a good delivery system established, with great packaging and enough of ice packs (2 big ones!). They also deliver at around 5AM in my 100+degrees city so my food is always cold by the time I get up to go to work and grab the food. The food itself is great! I get their lunch and their salad has always been fresh and their salad dressing is just delicious. The portion is a bit on the medium side but still filling enough for me because I don't personally eat big meals during lunch. I will definitely continue to subscribe to this service every summer.
Love the convenience of having fresh and healthy meals delivered 2x/ week right to my door. Food quality, taste, and quantity has been very good for the cost. Customer service has been good when our orders have been missing items ($ credited back to my account). Unfortunately, I am considering cancelling or reducing my deliveries to once per week because my deliveries consistently arrive after the 6pm-10pm quoted window and I am exhausted by waiting until after 11pm to collect & unpack my perishable delivery. My bedtime is usually 9pm so staying up till 11 and beyond expecting my delivery really throws a wrench in my week. I do live in the suburbs but it's frustrating to be quoted a window then not have the service deliver as expected.
I loved Thistle for the first few weeks of deliveries but my view is changing. The meals I receive aren't always fresh. I'm also tired of the lack of variety. I keep receiving meals that I have previously given low ratings. I'm unable to use the meal swap out due to delivery location...I might give it another try in a few weeks... Hopefully, things will improve.
The food is usually tasty and creative. I like that I can pick and choose my menu and quantity each week and the price is very reasonable for this type of food delivery. Only 4 stars because there are logistical issues- containers not closed properly resulting in spilled and ruined food, missing items, sometimes the full delivery doesn't show up.
If you are busy and want fresh meals, this is it. After four years and counting, I am still loving the service. The only reason for not giving five stars is that the past few months, the quantity of the greens has significantly reduced in many of my salads. The dinner meals are always on point! I get five lunches and meals weekly and cannot express how Thistle has gotten me back to my optimal body weight. Thanks Thistle
I've been subscribing to thistle for years now. It's so convenient and I love that I have to do zero cooking. It changed my life! As a plant based customer, I do feel there are too many tofu dishes. It feels overkill at times. The plastic containers are the only other bummer as well. I feel insanely guilty and wasteful even though I wash them out and recycle. I wish there were an alternative. I love nearly every dish and get very excited when meals I've never tried get delivered. Thanks so much!
Overall, food is good and healthy. Will still continue to order but below are areas that need improvement. 1. Pasta are ALWAYS way overcooked and mushy. Please switch brands and cook them al dente (or even a tad underdone). 2. Portions can be inconsistent, sometimes they are full/adequate, sometimes they they are quite lacking in terms of volume, especially the greens. 3. Would be nice to get options that are not always on the sour range, talking about salad dressings. I suffer from acid reflux so this would be a great change. 4. Small pet peeve, sometimes the salad dressing comes in this sealed container that is very hard to open, its better if they consistently come in the container with the lid, and please do not scrimp on the dressing.
I had a weekly meal service 5 years ago and Thistle has been a much better experience. The food is fresh, the salads are great and the desserts are very good. You can customize your delivery and the continuing variety is also a plus.
I have had no bad experiences so far. I enjoy the food, and I'm trying a lot of things I would not normally eat. My taste buds have changed, and I've noticed that things I didn't really love at the start are becoming more enjoyable. I would like it if nuts in salads, like the crunchy chickpeas, were packaged in bags so they aren't soggy when I eat them with my meal. Consistency could be better - some salads are huge with plenty of dressing, some not so large. Dressing size is also inconsistent. The last thing I'd like to say is that I am a whole food, plant-based eater, and I would appreciate more salad dressings without added oils. I know it's a tall order, but I bet you could get a whole new group of eaters if you offered WFPB.
I’ve been ordering with Thistle for 4-5 years! I have never had an issue. My good is always delivered on time and I can trust that my food is of high quality and mostly organic. I know that I’m getting a lot more veggies in my diet eating their meals.
I found Thistle one year ago, and I am totally devoted. It’s been a total game changer to have fresh, healthy, tasty food delivered regularly. As a busy entrepreneur there were days I didn’t even eat because I didn’t have time to grocery shop and cook, and it was affecting my health. Now I know I always have something good to eat. Everything tastes incredible. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I’ve had many issues with delivery. Sometimes I’ve gotten the wrong order delivered. Sometimes I received no order. Which was very bad when I was counting on having that food. The customer service team is always responsive, but it’s taken a lot of time to deal with these issues. But still I will continue to order, because I absolutely love eating Thistle.
It is a *frequent* occurrence that I receive meals with containers that are not fully closed. The food is disgustingly spilled throughout the delivery box onto all the other meals as well. This is a health hazard. Additionally, food is shipped with too little ice, traveling for 3 days this way. This is also a health hazard. I'm been ordering two meal plans per week for about 6 months, but after once again receiving a box with a spilled meal, I'm cancelling.
Deliveries are almost always on time! The food is good and a nice variety of flavors. I would love to see more options or more rotation of the meals because I feel like I am getting a lot of the same meals.
I have been using Thistle for years. I love the service. I love the food. I also love how it enabled me to easily eliminate meat and dairy from most of my diet. If you have been thinking of eating vegan more often, this is an excellent option.Customer service has always been responsive and when things do go wrong, they have made good with very little effort on my part. (This includes during lockdown in the pandemic - Thistle was a lifesaving bit of stability at that time.)I can't speak for how the staff and delivery drivers are treated or the ethics/sustainability of ingredient sourcing - so if there's ANY criticism (and this is asking more of literally everyone else) - some more transparency on those specific things would be awesome. Thistle, if you are knocking it out of the park on those metrics, by all means, let us know. The only other criticism is all the plastic. I'm recycling it, for now... but a more sustainable and cheaper solution would always be welcome.Otherwise, thank for years of nutritious meals. I look forward to many more in the future.
Thistle has been an awesome experience for me! I've been with them for nearly three months (and through one big move) after tiring of Factor's horrendous service and Blue Apron's unhealthy pre-made meals. I'm SO happy with Thistle's customer service, first and foremost, and also the food and delivery experiences I've had.
I have been ordering from Thistle for over a year, and they have delivered incomplete meals many times. This is really inconvenient when I am expecting the meals to be delivered. Thistle always kindly credits my account or refunds my payment, but it doesn't make my life any more convenient by doing this... what would make a difference is if they actually double checked their outgoing packages before leaving their facility. I actually really like the food, even though the portions are not always consistent, but the inconsistency in delivery is really unfortunate and frustrating. It make customers feel not cared for. I will continue to try out the service for a little bit longer, as I like most of their menu compared to other vegan delivery services, but they do not have my trust for much longer if they can't clean up their service.
Been a member of Thistle for almost a year. The flavor, variety, freshness and add ons are exceptional! What is also exceptional is the customer service! Every experience with Thistle has exceeded my expectations. Recommend for anyone needing easy, delicious, healthy and dependable meals!
First week everything was perfect. After that, I found the quality and actually taste was very inconsistent. I’ve had multiple meals that were Spoiled. I also had meals where the quality of the ingredients was terrible. The only way to contact the company is by email which I find offensive and annoying. Too bad because I like some of the foods, but I’m not gonna pay for inconsistent Quality of food. Additionally, the taste of a few of the items just changes from week to week making the food, but I would think they have to use recipes I don’t know why it tastes different all the time. If you email them and tell them, something was bad they’ll credit you, but I just find it annoying that I have to do this almost every single week. I canceled my subscription and told them the reasons why. I gave them another chance and the same thing is happening week. One is good and then it all goes downhill.
I am very happy with my experience with Thistle overall. The food is reasonably priced, varied and truly healthy, customer service helpful when needed.
I've been getting Thistle delivered most weeks for over 2 years now, so clearly I'm very happy with the quality and taste.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
