Great product, not dissing on them there. However they lack very big on the customer service. At least for me. I broke the end section on my rod and emailed about purchasing a replacement, took them 3 days to get back to me after I sent three emails. Emailed back and forth for one day, they were going to send me a link to proceed with the replacement. It’s been 4 days since then and haven’t heard back to revive the link. I’ve sent more emails and still nothing. I like the pole a lot, however I could order a new one from any company and have it at my doorstep before I get my replacement. Not impressed at all. Other reviews state that they were quick and made the process easy, I wish it was the same for me.

Brutal customer service.I placed an order over two weeks ago. After several days of not receiving a shipping confirmation, I emailed WRC. I received a response a day later stating that the order appeared to be fulfilled on their end and asking if I had received a tacking number, which I hadn't (and still haven't).Multiple emails later, no response at all. Disappointed as I was very excited to give the rod a whirl, but at this point I suppose I simply need to get the charged reversed.Back to basics WRC!

The reel I received did not match the product photos on the website. Matter of fact, it still doesn't match the pictures they're keeping on the website. They have ignored my email asking why the reel did not match product images. I asked for a refund and was unable to once again reach anyone. If you want false product expectations and a 100% lack of customer service than Wade Rod Co and Pelican reels are your go to company!

Ordered a rod and the handle was cracked when received. After emailing customer service (had a trip planned the upcoming weekend) instead of overnighting a replacement, they said I could use the rod bc it was a cosmetic thing and then after to send in the damaged part for a replacement. I thought it was a bit odd that they said to use it, and I was worried that the handle would actually crack more and then be totally unusable. Also, not sure how the rod would've cracked during transit either, it was packed super well so someone must have sent it with the damage already there.

Wade Rod Co is absolutely magnificent. I received my new rods in less than a week. I recently used the Streamer Express 7 weight and caught an 8 pound Atlantic salmon in upstate New York. The rod was powerful and light as a feather. As far as service, Wade Rods is excellent. They ship fast and safely and produce a fantastic product. Buy and use their gear with confidence.

Everything came in fast and in excellent condition. I’m new to fly fishing and haven’t had the opportunity to use many fly rods for a comparison of performance but I can see the craftsmanship of the rod is impeccable. All the joints are snug but still easy to remove. The reel fits nice and tight into the handle and the rod itself just looks awesome.

I Received my dragon glass 8/9wt rod a few weeks ago and I really enjoy the smooth action. It casts larger saltwater flies effortlessly and handles the coastal breeze well.It performs equally well in coastal surf and back bay estuaries. Great rod at a reasonable price. The quality of the rod is above it's price point and i couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. Delivery was quick and I was casting exactly one week from placing the order. Excellent rod so far great balance matched with a lamson liquid 1.5 3/4 reel first fish was a pig wild brown 3wt handle wonderful defently be checking other rods out from wade

Awesome company have received many products over the years amazing craftsmanship on the rod feels great rock solid yet very forgiving when casting and feeling strike would highly recc. Delivery was kinda touch and go took longer than expected but was ALWAYS updates in tracking BEYOND HAPPY WITH THE FLY ROD THANKS AGAIN!!!

I did the subscription plan and within one week got my rod. I ordered the streamer express 7wt, and it is a great casting rod. Used it for cahronamid fishing with a strike indicator and also used it for large beadhead streamer and it throws better than my orvis rod. Just wish they would come out with some 9'6" rods.

Customer service is the only thing that separates them from anyone else. The product I received was good quality and I hope to put it to good use this year. The issue I had - I sent several emails asking about the 2 day service I paid for and never got a response (took 6 days to deliver from the email I received saying it shipped) also, I sent an email asking how to switch over the retreive because I got the wrong one, and they didn't respond. As a customer, I am left with they don't care and that is not a good thing for business.

Great Experience!The folks at Wade Rod/Postfly are great. Even in these uncertain times they are diligently cranking out product. Unlike so many other companies, their website clearly shows when a product is not available and they will not take your money for something they can not immediately ship.Great work folks.. This is my first Wade Rod but it won't be my last.

Great company that cares about the customer. Fly fishing is a very expensive hobby and they make it affordable for enthusiasts that can’t afford premium gear but want a premium feel. Well done keep up the good work guys!

Overall, I'm happy with the product. It's great quality especially for the price. However, it took a month and a half to receive the product which I know was due to holiday chaos. I'll rate the experience as neutral. I'd like to consider other Wade Rods in the future.

I ordered my Dragon Glass 3wt and received it 5 days later, with email updates along the whole shipping process. Took it out on the water the same day it showed up and couldn’t be happier. Unbelievable flex and effortless cast.

After placing my order my card was charged the same day, I did receive a order number however I received no word as to when my order would be delivered. Trying to contact the company was very difficult, after repeated email attempts finally I did hear from a person from another company that my rod would be shipped and a shipping label was generated with a tracking number. This tracking number did little good because the USPS informed me that the label was issued but they did not get the product to ship. Several email attempts later and the product was finally shipped and tracked. It has been a month and I do not have to product yet but I am told my the USPS it is to be delivered tomorrow. Poor communication.

Got it right out the package, and put a shad fly on it. The dragon glass being smooth like butter sets the fly beautifully presenting it. Got a 7 pound bass on it and plenty of line and backing for even bigger fish and a whole lot of fun. I’d recommend it to anyone but maybe not the fiber glass for beginners but darn it is smooth!!!!!
