Is theslimmingclinic.com Legit?

I have filed a complaint with this Company. They sent me Mounjaro pen on the 21st and I’ve had a very bad reaction to it. So much so my blood pressure went dangerously low and then every muscle in my body went into raging fire mode. The feeling of a major car crash whip lash. I firstly struggled to get help, only help via an online helpdesk and I could hardly move my fingers to type. I explained my situation and I could not even get to the toilet. My husband had to help me in and out of bed at times. I could not raise my arms above my head and even moving position in bed was extremely painful. My body was in complete shock.So I was waiting for a Doctor to call me but no help, I’ve been neglected and had to turn to the NHS for help. I had to take time off work, could not look after my children. I’m still recovering 1 week later. The Slimming Clinic are not interested in their patients. Only money! I feel ashamed that my illness and troubles were obviously self inflicted by this terrible drug. I’m not obese, I need just 1 1/2 stone off and I’m fit and healthy. This is a dangerous drug for some and should be under supervision by professionals not clowns.

Trying to cancel order as jabs making me feel extremely ill. Order not yet dispatched, details only just passed on to clinical team when I requested cancellation. Completely understand will have to pay £20 admin fee. Company being deliberately obtuse not cancelling/refunding, trying to get me to have a consultation “for guidance and support”, when all I want to do is cancel and get a refund… I’m an adult with capacity and capable of making decisions about my health. Please just do as I’ve asked multiple times now!! Terrible customer service. Stressful.

I spoke to Dr Max Richards a few ago for support with weight loss. He really put my mind at ease and went through all the options i have available to me. We both came up with a plan that suits me together. He is very supportive and i have started to lose weight for the first time in years. I would highly recommend the slimming clinic to anyone who wants help with loosing weight!!

Online OrderI placed an order online last week, I am not very good with technology and I had concerns that I was not filling out all the details correctly to get my meds sent (turns out I was right!!). I went onto the website chat this morning and spoke to Callum who told me not to worry and that a supervisor would call me back as I was having some issues. I was then phoned by Alicia who walked me through everything. Due to the issues I initially had this was then fast tracked for a weekend delivery for me. It was nice that a promise was made and kept from the slimming clinic people and good customer service deserves a good review in my opinion. I will buy againThanks

Dr Max listens to what you have say and considers everything when advising your weight loss plan. No questions are stupid and you are made to feel at ease. Lynda, admin support is pleasant and again takes you through everything in a professional way. I have lost over 2 and half stone in about 12 months. Losing weight is never easy but having professional supportive staff who give direct guidance is so beneficial.

This company takes your money immediately and then processes your weight loss medication request. I cancelled as soon as they took my money and prior to any consultation as I thought this was misleading and they still took £20 away from the refund & refused to refund in full. They will deduct £20 if you unsuitable for treatment. Other weight loss companies do not operate like this and these fees are buried in Terms & Conditions. I won’t use this company again. Update 19/11/24 following Slimming Clinic Response:Your response does not mention the fact that I cancelled immediately after you took my money, therefore no administration had been undertaken. I cancelled as your company takes money and then starts a consultation that some people won’t be suitable for and the fee of £20 is not made clear despite what you claim- there are no warnings; it’s buried in Terms and conditions. Please don’t bother responding. I will, however, be making your hidden fees clearer for other potential customers where I can.

Ordered lastnight, struggled to get assistance off chat box wanted to ask about delivery process and length and if my order had gone through. Called this morning was assisted on the phone was told it would only be confirmed by GP on Monday then to allow 2 days for dispatch and more time for delivery. Asked to cancel as I needed it earlier and was charged £20. For an order that I was told was still with the online team, meaning no work had gone into it. Really unhappy .

I only spoke to Dr Max Richards today for 50 minutes and so far it has been an extremely good experience. He explained in detail how the two types of medication work on the body and the possible side effects. Consequently, I was able to make an informed decision as to whether I should continue with either medication to help my weight loss. I was then put through to Lisa who went through the different payment plans etc.

I was recommended SC by a friend. I ordered and the doctor called me to confirm some health queries and was helpful with all my questions. This ensured me it’s all clinically safe and genuine. It was a smooth process. I did have some issues with delivery but this was promptly resolved. I will continue using SC for my weight loss journey :)

UPDATE:Their response below is nonsense. They don't mention anywhere in the two emails they sent me offering me money for testimonials that it is to cover travel expenses. They say write a written testimonial for 100 pounds or create a video testimonial for 350 pounds. Also when they called me they never mentioned anything about compensation for my travel etc only for the testimonial. More lies from them, typical. They emailed and called me, begging to have a testimonial submitted on their website. They offer 100 for a written testimonial and 350 for a video one. They need them to tackle all the negative reviews.

Been a customer with this company on and off over a number of year but will never recommend them to anyone again .tried to order tablets 3 weeks later still waiting asked for another blood pressure then they said send out machine had to phone up and ask where us the blood pressure machine that use were sending out they hadn't even looked at email women on phone didn't know I was to get one so after over 3 weeks I asked for refund she said that she would request a refund oh and guess what they took £20 off my money for no reason I have emailed them to ask why .never seen anything like it because there is not a office and everything done online now there happy to take ur money but service is SHOCKINĜ .DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.And don't reply with any excuses because the people that are running this company are shocking ..

Would highly recommend this company. Medication is dispatched within two days of the Doctor Approving your prescription they are really helpful with recipes with what food to eat when you’re on the injection and compared to some companies, the injection is cheaper

I had my first consultation today with Dr Sarah to discuss my plan. The meeting was really informative and I was made me feel really at ease. I am super excited to start my journey. I then had a great conversation with Rachel, who was also really lovely and informative. Even though I haven’t yet started I am thrilled with the service that has already been provided.

Very helpful, medication is amazing, reduces appetite but also give u energy. They look after you and care. Your weight loss journey is safe and controlled with slimming clinic. I recommend if u struggle to loose weight .

I started on this journey a few months back, the results have been amazing with life changing results. I always read reviews before purchasing something. I believe you get good and bad reviews because that’s just normal, and you can’t please everyone. I always feel that the negative ones are because people have had a bad experience or they haven’t got what they want and react by lashing out and saying things like it’s a scam company.. which isn’t really fair, it’s someone’s business and that could damage their reputation. My experience is it defiantly isn’t a scam company. They have been really helpful, customer service has been great on the chat on their website, WhatsApp not so much. I was told that it could take up to 2 weeks from order to delivery. I ordered it Friday late last night and it arrived Wednesday morning, so very pleased. I can’t give a review on the product as I haven’t taken it yet, but will do in a few months to say how I’ve got on.
