thesavoylondon.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives thesavoylondon.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 87.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 87.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to thesavoylondon.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning thesavoylondon.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between thesavoylondon.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of thesavoylondon.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of thesavoylondon.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. thesavoylondon.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether thesavoylondon.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether thesavoylondon.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, thesavoylondon.com.

Currently sitting in my room at the Savoy and disappointed ! We having arrived by sleeper train arrived at 8am we asked for an earlier check in and were sent a text at quarter to 3pm when normal check in is from 3 pm ! Gee 15 mins early wow thanks ! It was our sons 9 th birthday , we told the Savoy at check in …. we decorated the room with his birthday cards etc …we thought we might get a little cake or something from the Savoy but….. not a thing ! We booked afternoon tea . We turned up on time to find a complete melee with people queueing in two queues but it wasn’t apparent what the different queues were for it was bedlam …. We finally got to the front to be told that was for the River restaurant NOT the afternoon tea which was the same lecturn but woman stood next to woman we were talking to ! So we were in wrong queue but no way of knowing ! The correct member of staff then ignored our repeated attempts to talk to her until she was ready to talk to us ….. we then had to go to the back of the queue by which time I went up and asked to be phoned in our room which 30 mins later we were …. In summary it was chaos ! We decide to go to the pool so put on our bathrobes but mine was covered in make up on the inside ! Next tonight sat in our room we discuss buying our son a new jacket from the store across the road from the Savoy so we leave our drinks by the bed and head out . We were gone 15-20 mins and got back to find drinks gone our slippers which were drying on radiator gone and our bath robes hidden behind toilet door when they were hung up in the room ! No replacement of drinks …. Great ! Having stayed before the whole place now the afternoon tea is up and running has turned into a complete cattle market . Fighting to get past drunken people in front of the small doorway to walk down to the lift was is a nightmare …. The whole atmosphere has just changed … not for the better … we thought it was a nice hotel to bring our son but navigating through drunken people to get to the lift I can do without …. Never again !!! I get the impression there is a veneer of being welcoming and kind but actually the staff are just going through the motions . What would it have cost to bring a little cake or something for my son on his birthday ? Why throw away our drinks why throw out our slippers and not replace them why was a bathrobe so obviously previously worn not checked ? Why ignore us when asking about afternoon tea… what would it cost to put a nice sign on the lectern saying what queue was what ? This is a second rate hotel ….. unfortunately just not good enough !
Afternoon teaExcellent iona our waitress fantastic great really helpfulHowever I would have given you a 5 stars But unfortunately you have some staff who are foul mouthedF word ect. We were sat with American friends it was not very good They were embarrassed with swearingIf that is what you allow then so be itFor me now I wouldn't go back Shame 🫠
Recently visited Scoff cake bar at the Savoy. Greeted by Pablo who was very enthusiastic about his cakes. Took a takeaway Tiramisu and ate 2 cakes there. Absolutely delicious and a lovely ambience.
We had a reservation for afternoon tea at 15:15, we arrived at 15:10 and was advised they were still seating the 15:00 reservations. We waited 30 minutes to be seated, (15:45)We found this unacceptable as we had arrangements early evening, if a reservation has been made, but not kept it shows a lack of organisation, the afternoon tea itself was great, along with the surroundings and restaurant staff service.
Reservation no 2110280578. What an amazing experience. Firstly the service was exceptional. We had a perfectly positioned table with a lovely view of the dinning room. The Staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the Blackberry and Champagne oysters for starters and the Ribeye with peppercorn sauce for main! My better half had the butternut squash veloute and beef wellington for main. The fillet felt like you were eating a pâté! My Ribeye was seared beautifully and cooked perfectly medium rare. The sides of paprika fries and tender stem broccoli were a beautiful accompaniment. The surroundings were delightful. An all round brilliant experience. Thank you to the Savoy Grill team.
Just returned from overnight stay in London to enjoy Afternoon Tea at the Savoy. My son had bought the tea to celebrate my wife's 70th.. We enjoy such events and the Savoy reputation is well known. Hotel was everything as expected and marketed, and as was the Foyer venue. Staff were wonderful and yes, a few more sandwiches would have been welcomed initially, but you only had to ask for more. All was well presented, and really enjoyed the whole Afternoon Tea experience. Recognise a little more informal than the Ritz, but disappointed that a number attended in sweat shorts, used trainers, t - shirts or jeans, slightly undermining the Savoy image and rationale behind this special event.
Had 3 course grill meal and good, athmosphere and attention and service were outstanding. Popped in for few drinks at 1890 afterwards, again staff were attentive, drinks fine and great quality and priced competitive to Shard and other less quality places. Had good time, unwinding in heart of London having great food and quality drink afterwards. Highly recommend
My anticipation at having breakfast at The Savoy Hotel (where my friend was spending four nights), was a let-down!Apart from the Hostess’s genuine 5-star welcome, the service left a lot to be desired.Despite few customers, & lots of staff circulating, at no point did any of them come to ask if the food was satisfactory. My poached eggs on toast arrived lukewarm. The beautiful ‘tower’ of jams & preserves was not accompanied by any(!) serving spoons.Polished as the waiters appeared to be, they served us from the right-hand side. Ditto when removing our plates. Thankfully, the beautiful surroundings upgraded the experience…somewhat.P.S. The ‘Flat White’ coffee was very nice.
Arrived at the Savoy to celebrate my birthday. We arrived a little early therefore had time to have a drink in the American bar and we were served by a lovely barman named Nathan. Who was truly excellent in his service and hospitality. We went along for afternoon tea ☕ and had the most wonderful experience. Ioni we think that's how you spell her name really looked after us very well couldn't do enough for us .Thank you for my lovely little birthday cake and card. This made the experience even more memorable. Hope to be back for the Christmas afternoon tea.
Stayed here for 2 nights couldn’t fault it absolutely first class from start to finish, couldn’t fault anything thank you to Marta for check in and the room was amazing, Breakfast was very good lots of choice and poached eggs cooked to perfection, ate in the savoy grill again excellent five star can’t wait to return
Attended Savoy as a guest for afternoon Tea. Very disappointing. In entry the foyer smelt of fish, very off putting. The meal itself, yea and coffee was weak, the sandwiches were tasteless and the cakes tasted stale and again flavourless. We were initially asked about allergies but no consideration given to other illnesses, had to ask for seedless jam and even when provided was advised it wasn’t 100% seedless The best thing about the whole food were the scones. You are paying for an experience not food and I have to say the whole thing was overpriced on both counts
I would like to leave a review about the Savoy Hotel but unfortunately the gift voucher we received for a three course meal could not be redeemed because the restaurant is closed even though we were booking for July. Apparently it’s Gordon Ramsey’s fault. Why do companies sell gift vouchers when they are not going to honour them ?
What an amazing experience! Friendly and polite staff. Amazing features and decor. A the little touches made you feel like royalty! The food was delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable. Our server Antonio was lovely and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Overall the price we paid was as expected for what we can. Hopefully will be able to return again in the future.
Went in this hotel whilst visiting London to view the cristmas lights the hotel was fantastic I even used there Loos 👍 hand cream was a pleasure to use took loads pictures all the doorman had smiles on there faces.. thank you Savoy 🎄
We went for lunch at Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant. We had the most incredible meal. The staff were very attentive, polite and smiley. Tierry, manager, spent time chatting with us and Sam our waiter was incredible. They are all clearly highly trained but take joy in their jobs. An amazing experience. Thank you to the whole team. Rachel and Phill.
Our 2 night stay at The Savoy was AMAZING. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we were upgraded to the Savoy Suite. It was the most incredible experience and we loved every second. It is just the most incredible place and I’m still buzzing. Thankyou to all the staff for making our Golden Wedding Anniversary one we will cherish forever. We will be back x. Ps please dont letpeople wear jeans and trainers not at the Savoy.
I stayed here many years ago & it was great. This time I’ve got a room booked for New Years Eve, flying in from my home in Australia only this time, I’ve paid, they say they haven’t got any reservations for me, take days & days to answer emails if at all (2 have never been answered) I keep ringing from Australia & the phone rings out on the reservation number or if I dial the other number I’m on hold forever & end up hanging up as nobody answers!! I’m am so sick of this & their lack of communication. It’s the Savoy for gods sake, the lack of service is at a whole new level! I’m furious!
Most dissapointing !!!My wife and I were married at the Savoy 25 years ago and told by the management then that we would be invited back to spend the night as their guests for our 25th , when I contacted customer services they hadnt heard of this and therfore wouldnt honour it !!, so instead I booked the Savoy Grill for my wife's birthday last night,I was told that the valet parking was £16.50 , infact it was £26.50 when I collected the Car, the food was excellent ,however both mine and my wifes hands were covered in silver polish from the cuttlery, the manager did appologise and sent some wipes, but no complimentary drink !!! poor poor show Gordon !
To have lunch in the Savoy Grill is a great experience. The ambience, decor, service and food is exemplary. My nephew and I enjoyed a very tasty meal (Beef Wellington for him and Cod for me) from the set festive menu. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, plus the hotel was beautifully decorated. A memorable day!
Good - we’ve stayed a few times now. Enjoyed the ambience and the great effort of the butlers and maids. Great pool - especially because through covid you get it all to yourself for a time slot and the staff are so friendly. It’s always been our ‘go to’ for destressing, food and smiles. The door staff, concierge, reception are all just wonderful people. Thanks for having us many times - we can’t wait to see you next time :)

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
