Is theethicalsilkco.com Legit?

Nice clothes but very expensive transport Duty. There was no indication when I made the purchase that there would be additional FedEx Duty and VAT of nearly £70. I think the company should CLEARLY inform UK customers that a duty fee will arrive separately from the product and is not cheap.

I returned an order several weeks ago, haven't gotten a refund, and their customer service has totally ghosted me even though I've sent several emails to their info@ email address. Really frustrated. If you buy from this company don't expect to return anything.

I have bought both a pillowcase and a pair of pyjamas from the Ethical Silk Company. My wife loved the pillowcase I gave her last year so I've now bought a pair of pyjamas as a 4thwedding anniversary present. The mulberry silk has a unique beautiful feel to it and the fact its created ethically is brilliant. The pyjamas look really great with the stylish block printing too, I think my wife is going to love them!

When we think about silk, we usually imagine the smooth shiny version of it but I actually really appreciate how smooth but simple it is. The small size suits those usually wearing an M.I'm considering a different model in the future, as well :)

I've bought several pillowcases from The Ethical Silk Company in the past. I like that their processes cause less damage to and strain on the environment than other silk providers. The cases are always gorgeous in a soft natural colour.This time, I also ordered a silk mask which I intend to wear on 'high days and holidays.' It's very beautiful with nice cords that can be tightened. It isn't as well fitted as some of the masks I've had from elswehere, and I don't believe it has a pocket for an extra filter, but the silk is in itself an excellent filtering material and I'm very happy with it.

This company is wonderful; their products are gorgeous, the delivery is fast and prettily presented, and their customer service is warm and personal. I love that their silk is ethically made, without boiling the silk worms alive in their cocoons - it's the only kind I buy now. The two silk pillowcases I bought from them are beautiful and soft and feel really luxurious. The only tiny quibble that I have is that though their Queen size pillowcase is advertised as being designed to fit standard pillows, they are in fact a little bigger than standard. However, this doesn't affect how much I love sleeping on them and it won't stop me buying more in future.

I particularly love the silk pillowcases. I use them myself & have given them as beautiful presents. Delivery was prompt & I also love the fact that the company originated in Ireland & the silk is ethnically sourced. I hope to treat myself shortly to a silk nightdress! Mary

I am so so impressed with the shipping speed, especially with all that’s going on in the world today. I bought this as a gift for a friend, so I don’t have a personal review of the product. But the shipping speed, packaging, and quick response from the company was more than impressive.

Great product, great customer service including call back following message left. Poor information re delivery times. Fine to be a bit longer if communicated well or for there to be an uplift for fast delivery.

Ethical silk is so quick to respond with customer service! My order had been lost at the shipping conpany, but they sent a replacement right away. As usual the product is superb and excellent quality!
