It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 13.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to the-portable-monitor.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between the-portable-monitor.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of the-portable-monitor.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of the-portable-monitor.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. the-portable-monitor.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

The support ist so useless. It took longer than expected. The product is bugging a lot. Sometimes it doesn't even startup. It's by far not bright enough for work and the stand is useless.
I placed an order nearly two years ago and paid around €700, but I never received the product! Back then, the domain was portabl.com, which has a dismal 1.2 rating on Trustpilot (you can still find it with that name in Trustpilot). Since then, they've changed the company name and website.I used to have an account showing my pending order, but a few months ago, they wiped out all old accounts. Now, I can't even log in, and my pending order has mysteriously disappeared. To top it off, their support has completely ghosted me. No responses, no product, and no refund.
This company is a complete scam! I made a purchase three years ago and have been fighting tooth and nail for my money back ever since. They are nothing but liars, promising refunds that never materialize. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company at all costs. Their unethical practices and refusal to return my money have left me utterly disappointed and cheated.
I placed 2 orders for 2 monitors each in 2023, I kept getting the run around that they moved the factory and to be patient. After months of getting the run around I requested a refund for both orders, needless to say, I never received that either. The company is nothing but a scam. I have tried emailing them and now the emails bounce back as undeliverable. Does anyone of a phone number? They now go under the name The-portable-monitor
Pre-ordered 2017, pain in full 2021. Nothing, no delivery or communication. Multiple contact attempts, same excuses. Supply lines etc. You are always promised soon, soon! but it never comes. They've changed their company name several times now to keep their reputation. I was polite as polite can be with them always, but now they've changed name again and this time DELETED MY ACCOUNT AND ORDER, that is the final straw. They are criminals plain and simple with zero honour. The one positive thing I can say about slidenjoy/le slide/portabl/portable-monitor is what great scamming thieves they are! 5 stars for that, I thought I was scam immune but they got me with a very professional looking website. none of the usual tell tale signs of fraud. taught me a lesson - always phone a new online retailer before you use them
ORDER #TPM14446 du 13 mars 2024Paiement encaissé,jamais reçue.Contact par le suivi de commande qui ne répond pas aux questions et indique :I hope this message finds you well. This is Siham from The Portable's customer support team. We're thrilled about your recent purchase with us and eagerly await your receipt of the Flip Max 15.6".I sincerely apologize for the delay. Due to a significant increase in orders, there has been a slight delay in the shipping timeframe. Rest assured, we are closely monitoring your order to minimize any further delays.Once your product is ready for shipment, we will promptly provide you with the tracking number for your reference.Best regards,SihamSupport Team
This site is very much a scam. It is a copy from portabl.com and slidenjoy... all of which I have had the same experience. I have been told for years now my monitor is coming, and they still insisted so in chat (I have all the transcripts) until they moved to this new platform which no longer responds to any queries. AVOID! It is a lot of money to risk and you are better off gambling it at a casino. Plenty of better products and brands out there!
The most disappointing service ever. Company had my money for 8+ years. They keep changing their name… Slide n Joy, Le Slide, The Portable Monitor.Customer service keeps promising a resolution within “a few months.” It’s been 8 years and I’m still waiting for a product. Avoid at all costs. Clearly a scam.
A total scam. Bought it Jan'23 and still have not received the product.Have been investigating them and, as many other posts here state, it's a complete scam.Think we should all try to get together and see what legal options we can find to investigate and prosecute the profiles behind this web.
100% a scam. Ordered back in August 2017 when they were on Kickstarter. Despite numerous contacts with them where they they promised I would hear back in the next few weeks each time, I never heard anything. They are absolute scammers and will continue to take money off people for as long as their site is allowed to be up. Latest site is https:// the-portable-monitor.co but they do change domains every so often, presumably when their negative reviews discourage anyone else ordering with them. They were previously called Slidenjoy then Portabl.
They "finally" deleted my account (and my kickstarter order) after 5 years. This is a total scam company, every year they change their website and name, i wouldnt buy a single screw from them. For more information you can search for "slidenjoy", "portabl" and "leslide", these are all their old names. When my account was still active i always had an order "pending" with the kickstarter price, but when i asked for informations their response was always the same: "we are waiting for the batch in production". This for 5 years! And now they are selling a product on amazon (i doubt they offer actual support over their products, if they are shipping). Stay away from them!
The Flex 14 is a perfect asset for 3D modelers like me. This sleek marvel simplifies my workspace with just one cable, effortlessly powering two additional displays. It's compact, reliable, and has become my secret weapon for creating stunning renders. If you're into 3D design, the Flex 14 is a must-have – it's pure creative bliss!
A fraudulent website. Ordered a product, but delivery was always delayed. After many emails asking when the product will be delivered, a vague story that there are problems with the delivery. This answer kept coming back. Finally asked to refund the money. Unfortunately, no refund has been received after a year.
I ordered and paid for a Flex 14” in January 2024 and thereafter was treated to a fine selection of excuses as to why my order was delayed. To date, it still hasn’t appeared and it now seems impossible to contact them…they disabled their chatbot around March and their various contact forms don’t work. I wish anyone associated with this company a long and miserable life.
Order arrived within 4-5 days from Hong Kong to Europe. Everything was well executed from packaging to included cables and careful manuals to the speedy delivery. My most favorite part of all though: the monitors worked out of the box on Fedora Linux simply running the bash script provided for Ubuntu! Excellent!! The screens are a bit weak in color and difficult to pull but this is a very very minor thing compared to what one gets as a functional product based on a wonderful idea.
To Whom It May Concern,The product seems great, if you have a chance to receive it. I have been waiting for my purchase for three and a half years. Despite sending hundreds of emails, I always receive the same response: "Your order will be in the next batch." Why are you still taking new orders when you haven't fulfilled orders from 3-4 years ago? This is unacceptable.Sincerely, nicolas
Products ordered 9 years ago, refund asked 4 years ago and still waiting but even with numerous reminders and European Court decision that they should reimburse me without delay. They don't !!! I cannot believe people are still placing orders while hundred (if not thousands) of people have been scammed over the last 10 years. Do not order anything from them, they will just take your money and never reply to you.
After a bumpy delivery phase, I'm now so happy to have received it. The first attempts were uncomplicated and hassle-free. The set-up was easy, although I don't use the app at all, the image transfer works just as well via the USBC to USBC cable. There is really nothing to complain about when it comes to screen quality, sharpness and colors are great.I mainly use the mono when I'm travelling and working in our motorhome. It's perfect for this, super slim and light, it doesn't take up any space and is a huge asset for work.
This is an excellent product! I have been using this when travelling and the compactness of it makes it worthwhile purchase. I'm used to using multiple screens at work so having the portable screens with me is super useful and convenient. I was initially skeptical because of the high cost but when I received the package, i can see why. Neat packaging, solid screens, definitely worth the money! Highly recommended as a gift to workaholics like myself.
It works fine but it lacks the ease of use. Supports USB but is not plug and play, still needs drivers to work seamlessly. Sometime the external monitors won’t startup without rebooting, a big concern. Other than that, it performs the functions as expected.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
