thaiairways.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives thaiairways.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to thaiairways.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning thaiairways.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between thaiairways.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of thaiairways.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of thaiairways.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. thaiairways.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether thaiairways.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether thaiairways.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, thaiairways.com.

When I missed my plain to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in Bangkok, the Thai Airways staff took care of me and the situation effectively and swiftly. All I had to do was to sit down at the closed gate and wait for ca 10 mins. After that the Customer Service agent Mr W. Pakkapol, who spoke very good English, picked me up and escorted me to the Vietnam Airlines desk where he got me on a new flight departing only 2h later.Good work! =)
Flight cancelled due to covid. Have been trying unsuccessfully to get a refund or voucher for more than 3 years. No response to emails or calls or diverted elsewhere and then no reply. Booking SM9PX7.
Worst costumer service ever , had to change my flight for an emergency been on a call trying to reach an operator in Italy they put me to wait for 2 hours without picking up.Sent them 3 email still wait for a reply. Refund process unclear and change flight is very difficult
No name change possible.Due to corona, a traveler cannot come. Email sent and begged to change the name so that a supervisor can go with the other travelers. Received an answer that this is not possible. Why not? Now they have earned more than 1000 euros on an empty chair. Just theft. This is possible with other companies. I thought that certainly a company from Thailand would do this out of kindness. No Thai airways for me.
My business class flight late April, classified Z class has not been allocated it's relevant miles, despite your website stating Miles are allocated. I have contacted your company and received a negative reply.
Massive issues with the website and comparability with mobile. Means you can’t do important stuff on the go
I eyed a cheap ticket with one piece of check in luggage Shanghai - Copenhagen. I had two pieces of luggage and tried to find out the cost for the second piece online before buying, but info about additional luggage cost was nowhere to be found online. So I bought the ticket anyways thinking Thai would change in line wirh other airlines. BIG MISTAKE. It turns out Thai changes USD70 per kg. I was charged USD70 for my first suitcase as it was 20.2kg and my allowance was 20kg. My second suitcase was 20kg, so I was told to pay Usd1,400 for my second suitcase. I total USD1, 470.I've never flown an airline that charges for 0.2kg of overweight and the second suitcase cost 3-4 times more than what other airlines charge!!!!!I was disgusted and did not take the flight. Instead I spent the Usd1,470 buying a flight on Lufthansa with extra luggage instead. Lufthansa tells you up front on their website what they charge for extra luggage. It is EUR200 for 23kg. This was such an unpleasant and unexpected experience expertly delivered by Thai Chek in staff void of any empathy or understanding. Pay or step aside I was told. I'm done with flying Thai. I've flown them a lot, but this was too much.
I am very disappointed with Thai Air's customer service and cancellation policy. Due to personal matters, I had to cancel several flights with various airlines. While all the other airlines processed full refunds quickly, Thai Air charged a $200 cancellation fee and takes an unreasonable 180 days to process the refund. Moreover, you can only contact the office at the journey's starting location, which in my case was Istanbul, despite being based in Sydney. This is highly inconvenient and inefficient, as the Turkish office does not handle the refund process; it is managed by the head office.Email correspondence was slow and unclear. My initial request for cancellation was met with a standard policy reply, and after I confirmed, I received a poorly formatted email with unclear information, and nothing further.I am very disappointed and will not choose Thai Air when rebooking my flights.
I had fallen and broke my foot while on holiday. Had booked a wheelchair but because that was pre booked I could not change my seats online. The doctor had written a letter to state that i should be upgraded to business class due to it being necessary to keep my foot elevated. Upon arrival at the airport they were not willing to change my seat not upgrade to business without paying the full fee. I begged if I could just sit there seeing the seat was available without any extra or at least pay a discounted fee, however they did not care even with a medical certificate.
Waited 4 years and 3 months for refund of flight cancelled during covid. In the time since booking my cash will have lost 35-40% to inflation while Thai probably had it sitting in a high interest account. Seeing headlines about plans to double their fleet size and business is booming. Greedy and ignorant business only concerned with lining their own pockets.
I was looking forward to flying Thai Airlines. Flight wasn't cheap one way £995 LHR however, it was 13hrs straight through to london no changes brilliant. Oh dear, not so brilliant. Horrible Horrible where to begin. Seating can you make it any smaller, food order vegetarian safe side bad bad choice disgusting. Cabin cold why do you want to freeze your passengers on 13hour flight. Staff surley as cold as the cabin temperature. Service definitely not with a smile. Never fly this airline again,NO!!! rather extract my back teeth.
I flew codeshare with Thai Air, having booked on Turkish Airlines.I tried to book seats on the phone for our return flight, as we did not book direct with Thai Airlines. Kept on hold, no reply. At the airport all seats booked on the return flight to Turkey. My husband and I had to seat separately, both in middle seats - 3 seat plane. We ordered vegetarian food, and ended up with inedible vegan food! Obviously, Thai does not understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan. Entertainment on plane was poor, I had to ask for a blanket on an overnight flight as they had not put one on my seat. No amenity kit given, unlike Turkish Airlines. Cabin crew, practically non existent, after serving food.Avoid this airline, unless you are looking for below par service.
Departure and arrival as planned, and luggage made the flights as well (including transit). The food is horrible and entertainment quite a boring selection - yes, that matters on +10 hours flights.Space s***s, but I guess it’s like that everywhere these days, when you fly monkey class.. But not the worst I’ve tried though.Service onboard is so-so.
Waiting for refund since covid time. Despite of their promises, still today no customer service to get information from which means no chance to get back my money. Why this airline is still able to sell tickets and promote itself? not surprising that they don't partake any customers rights' association. Miserable and poor. I would love the whole world to know how bad you are in managing customers' rights.
This airline has declined over last 19 yrs with aircraft poorly maintained.. broken tables, poor IFE. Last flight in Nov 23 snagged a pair of jeans on sharp jagged metal pin under seat. All noted with flight attendant, pictures etc all sent to customers services who say nothing wrong with seat. Evidence is clear attended agreed at the time. Now a tin pot airline who lie and retain money on cancelled flights … hope BA returns to Bangkok.
I had a good experience with Thai airways on my flight London-Bangkok. It was an overnight flight, seats were comfortable enough so I managed to sleep through most of the night. Film collection was a bit limited but there were some recent movies available. Food was a bit of a small portion and a bit tasteless, but was ok and perfectly edible. Their staff at the airport were helpful when we couldn't find my boyfriend's backpack, and called us promptly when the person who took it by mistake returned it.
Have used them loads in the past but have REALLY gone downhill. My recent experiences with Thai Airways were of long delays, aging aircraft, inability to get food requests ( submitted well in advance ) right, poor customer service. Never ever again they have lost my custom for life
Thai Airlines cancelled a flight I had back in 2020, due to COVID and despite completing their online voucher refund site - nothing heard back whatsoever! From what I've read their are lots of other customers in the same boat as me .... how have they been allowed to get away with this crime?
We fly only Thai since they offer direct flights. As a handicapped traveler, I am grateful for their excellent and kind help and service all through the journey. The food offers are great also, for vegetarian/diabetics really better than anything from European companies. There is always an extra smile, an extra blanket, water arrives unasked for after waking up from 6hrs sleep...Last but not least, I am not scared to travel alone when I know Thai Airways teams will take care of me.Despite all the existing laws, we disabled people are not well catered for in most public transportation. Thai Airways is a great relief from those unacceptable attitudes.
Thai cancelled the flight from Frankfurt to Bangkok, Oct 2023, and put the passengers through hell, not having a clear plan set up for hosting us at hotels, etc (I had to take my own cab to a hotel that eventually we heard about, an hour or so after waiting at luggage). Then I was put on another flight via Singapore, 1.5 days later. The flight was about Oct 10, 2023, and per EU regulations, Thai Air owed us compensation. Thai Air would bounce me around during calls & emails and finally said an office in the USA had to provide the compensation. It is now 19 April 2024, and I have yet to hear or receive anything from them. I will never book with Thai again and suggest you strongly consider other options yourself. Their flights may be cheaper than others, but you get what you pay for. In fact, you don't even get what you pay for at a lower price.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
