telia.no Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives telia.no a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to telia.no's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning telia.no, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between telia.no and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of telia.no. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of telia.no, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. telia.no is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether telia.no has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether telia.no boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, telia.no.

The easy setup, customer service and it works !After 2 weeks being reassured by Telenor that moving an existing broadband subscription from one adress to my new place would be " no problem "Gave up Telenor, terrible traumatic experience with them and their product.Luckily i found Telia could offer me the same service, if not better. After a quick conversation with customer service they gave me an offer that was cheaper than Telenor. After 2 days i received my antenna that just sticks onto the window and connects to the router. That's it 😁Connected my pc, tv and phone. No cabeles, no hundred attempts and calls to customer service. Thanks 👍
Whatever you do never ever call Telia customer service, they will use your phonecall for help to claim that you have ordered something and force you to pay. Cancel any subscription immediately, find another company and never look back.
Have had an issue with internet for two weeks now. Tried calling customer support, who had no information nor ETA on when it's being fixed. Telia tech comms is non-existent, frankly. This is simply not acceptable in this day and age, with people working from home, we need internet to work - and if prolonged offline scenarios are expected, either planned or unplanned outages, then it's the ISP's responsibility to inform their customers. Proactive customer support is the way to win loyalty and ambassadors. What Telia is doing is creating a horde of unhappy customers who simply cannot put their trust in them.
After Telia took over Get, the service became horrible, we had more than 5 internet outages over a year, stability is very poor. When I moved to a new address I wrote a request to connect Telia internet there (just because I was already a customer from the old address), it said I will get a reply within a few days, but they never got back to me. Chose another local provider and never had any issues with it.
This is not a serious company. If you can, avoid it. They have the worst telephone service possible. Several hours to wait....
Internet goes out many times per month in my area for hours. Always insanely long wait time for costumer support and they can't really help with anything.
If you have the chance to use another online delivery service than Telia - please do! It is expensive and you don't get what you pay for. It is very unreliable! In average I loose the internet for hours/days every 4-6 weeks. I constantly have to call their customer service, restart the modem and hope it returns online. Then I have to reconnect every Sonos speaker and every other thing that's is reliable on wifi and an online connection. Very annoying and totally not what you pay close to a thousand NOK for every month. Totally unacceptable!
Very bad experience , we moved to a house where the Telia connection is already in the package . I trying to replace it somehow .The singles can disappear any time ,for instance today is public holiday and we don’t have any internet connection since last night , and they are not working on weekends and public holidays , and even during working days it’s very difficult to reach out to them . Very unhappy with the service … sorry for the money I am paying
This has to be the ABSOLUTE worst service I have ever experienced by any company in any sector. If I could give negative stars I certainly would
Connection has been so bad recently (since last week).. The internet disconnects continuosly and has been affecting meetings from home office. Tried to contact the Kundeservice.. Phone rings and never gets picked up. If they pick it up, they hang up immediately. Will be changing the service provider very soon.
Very slow customer service. No one answers the phone and on chat, very slow response. Also, they respond with the same common knowledge answers which are «reset» «plug and unplug» «get a new router» and nothing is helping. 3 days now in a row with still no help. What a customer service..
They are the worst internet provider, my internet has not been working for a month now and they scheduled a technician visit for Friday. I have waited the whole time and they didn’t contact nor come. I had to recontact them and now they scheduled for Monday means I have to spend so much mobile data and money and time without internet, tv and miss my job on Monday too as I have to wait home without internet again. Unacceptable that they said they couldn’t arrange technician for today even though I called them at 12:00 PM after they didn’t show up by the time they said.
ISP is so unreliable i'm constantly getting Lag spikes, from 35ms to crazy 800ms, I can't do anything, I keep disconnecting when I'm in a game, people I play with from other countries have great connection, no problem. This is so embarassing. it's been happening for 2 weeks. I checked for any other potential that's causing the lag spikes and i can't find anything else!
Weird services. I called the customer care regarding my faulty internet connection on the 4th of July, the promised to fixed it on the 12th between 12:00-16:00, only for the tech man to come 30 minutes after 16:00, stayed for 2 minutes and said he'd be back the next day. Today is 17th July my internet connection is yet to be restored as I keep getting one flimsy excuse or the other for not being able to come. This is 13 days now without being able to work with my laptop.
Absolutely despicable company!!!!! 3 times in 3 months they remove my insurance agreement which I'm paying and when I confronted them, each time they tell, it is me who did it! Never trust customer service and if you can stay away from.tjis company as far as possible
One of the scummiest companies that you should NEVER be a customer of.We unfortunately we're locked into Telia for 5 years because of a stupid tenant on the board of the housing association. The provided us 1mbps upload and 10mbps for 500kr per month, to upgrade it would be over 1,250 a month for crappy upload. They don't notify you when the bill is overdue, we have automatic payments, and every month they fail. They then say they sent a paper invoice (paper in 2023...) but there's no invoice. What's wrong with a simple email or sms like other companies? They say we have this "avtalegiro" setup, but we don't even use a Norsk bank.Honestly one of the worst internet companies I've dealt with in the world.Junk company.
I got a SIM card through Telia when I bought an iPhone in installments. Firstly, the monthly price was quite high for the few Gb I got, but then I got a message that the prices would then increase after the New Year due to "increased costs" for the company..! It is very strange that there are other providers who manage to deliver several gigabytes in mobile subscriptions at a lower price without demanding extra money after the New Year. In addition to the high price, they are hopeless at customer service! Steer clear of Telia and Telenor..! There are much better phone companies out there!
Very difficult to contact customer service. Almost impossible to contact them.I had a technical issues and I called them for 3 days with no luck. There is a chat but it has long queues and I waited for 1.5 hours for my turn and before I could answer the employee closed the chat. And I had to message them again and wait another hour to get help. It is super frustrating to contact the customer service.
Most unstable internet there is. Loses connection almost daily and then they promise to fix it but it doesn't get better. This applies to the whole neighborhood. Greed knows no bounds when it comes to this crappy company. Stay away.Oh look the SOB answered with a generic reply like they care, and also like the problem is only on my address when it is an entire city block. FU.
Telia phone service is a scam and their tv and broadband service is poor the speed is extremely slow and to test the scam if you complain speed goes back to committed and the problem reoccurs after a day this is pathetic In addition their sales personal make wrongful commitment

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
