Is tefl.ie Legit?

I have just completed the six month Level 5, 180hour TEFL course. What a fantastic, interactive and detailed course. I was concerned about self study and working online. There was absolutely no need. The course materials were really well constructed and presented with plenty of videos and images to facilitate the learning process. The course was very well structured with prior knowledge being built upon to prevent being overwhelmed. Tests were given at the end of each module to ensure that the lessons had been understood. There were three major assessments which were time consuming but necessary to ensure you really understood the course materials. Tutors were readily available through weekly online sessions and daily via Discord. I found the Discord chat exceptionally helpful as it created a sense of community where students could chat about issues or concerns. Tutors were available to give extra explanations and support. Laura was amazing. She really helped with some issues I had with lesson planning. I now feel well prepared to teach English as a foreign language. Thank you TEFL team. I would highly recommend the TEFL course.

I recently completed a TEFL course, and I can say it was a great experience. The course content was comprehensive, covering everything from lesson planning to classroom management.One of the standout aspects of this course was the exceptional tutor support. Laura, my tutor, always available to answer questions and provide guidance promptly.I appreciated the weekly Zoom meetings. These sessions allowed us to ask questions, and connect with other participants. It created a sense of community and gave the course a personal touch. On top of that, there was a dedicated Discord channel, which was an invaluable resource for staying in touch with both tutors and fellow students. Overall, I highly recommend this TEFL course to anyone looking to teach English as a foreign language. The structure, resources, and support from tutors make it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced educators.

The jobs seminar with Emos was quite helpful, giving an insight into how you can use the certificate both nationally and internationally. The application processes for companies was explained and a starting point for looking for jobs was provided. Thank you!

The whole time I was doing this course I never felt like I was alone. There was always a tutor at arms length. The course work was thorough and in depth. And the the online weekly courses where always packed full of information. The tutors (Laura, Luke and Jenny) across the board where helpful and full of great tips and trick. They are all active on discord and keen to help.

I just recently completed 180 hours tefl course. I struggled at the start to get into a routine as it has been many years since I completed my education. I needn’t have worried as I got constant support from my tutor Laura. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she replied to any query I may have had promptly. Without Laura’s support I may have given up. I now volunteer with go global and take part in speaking clubs with students from Ukraine , something I would not have had the confidence to do before.

Great support from the TEFL team! They quickly reply to any emails, questions or phone calls with a nice attitude. The course contains a lot of information and can be confusing at times, so having the teams support was very important and helpful.

Overall it was a fun experience to try and self study and begin something new like this .I didn't have anything to study for a few years so this was a challenge but the set up of this course and the step by step with its helpful tips and guides made getting back studying an easier task. Would recommend this course for everyone to try ! The added zoom meeting with Emos for finding placements and work was very useful too.

I have completed the 180hr Diploma online course with The TEFL Institute of Ireland. The structure of the course is very well - organized and clear. The amount of time is sufficient to complete all assessments and quizzes. Laura is very supportive tutor and always ready to help. Thank you Jenny for checking my assessments and clear feedback on every of them.I'd recommend this course if you're interested to start your career as an EFL Teacher or improve your current knowledge in teaching.

Attending the webinar hosted by Emos on Job Coaching was very enlightening.I recommend attending such from the beginning of your course as it opens your eyes to the available options and how to go about your planned carrier. I completed the 180 Hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma. I really enjoyed this course as it can be done in my own time and I can work around my busy schedule. The course material is relevant and great to learn from, the external resources given were extremely helpful through my learning too. Laura Graham assisted me through the process she has been very helpful and kind.

I just finished a job coaching seminar with Emos. I found his presentation excellent. He answered many of the questions I had about embarking on a career teaching English both online and in person. He answered all participants questions patiently and professionally. Well worth doing.

I found Emos job coaching seminar extremly helpful and enjoyable. I was able to learn key information and given useful websites and links that will help me in the future. I also really enjoyed the question time at the end.

I really learnt a lot from the TEFL Ireland. I searched deeply before and finally I chose them and it was really the best choice. The content is really rich and it will help any teacher. As there is an application, this gave the centre an advantage. Thanks for Lisa and the others for giving me a hand whenever I needed.

I just completed the 180hr Diploma online with The TEFL Institute of Ireland and was very happy with the course (and the result, thankfully). The course is clearly presented, step-by-step, with a wealth of links and resources made available to assist you with your understanding and progress. I found all the staff I dealt with (Annelies, Olivia and Laura) very helpful throughout the process. Annelies was particularly helpful when it came to guidance regarding funding and getting set up on the course. I would definitely recommend this organisation to anyone looking to teach English as a second language.

Stay well away from these lot, if your looking to pay them for a “course” read this first. Also do not trust the fake reviews they harass people who have completed the course into giving them 5 star reviews. First of all there is a big sale every second week so don’t be fooled by that. Also good luck getting your hard earned money back if you are unhappy with them.For starters course is full of typos and grammatical errors and hasn’t been edited in a while. Quite unacceptable for an English course if you ask me.Secondly they do not warn you but you have to pay to get your papers rechecked and they will nitpick everything just to squeeze more money out of you.Thirdly you are not even awarded a certificate you need to pay even more money for that, and course extensions are another money grab so watch out for that too. This course is not accepted by any reputable place in Europe, only in third world countries like Vietnam and the Philippians who pay peanuts. A CELTA course is what you really want.

As I finished the last assessment I have acknowledge how amazing the 180hr TEFL Diploma course is set up. With lots of information (that yes I noted down that will help In future teaching). The course was every penny and sweat drip. The discord assessors are amazing always ready to assist and give feedback and advice. The app and website is easy to navigate. Thank you for the amazing program. I will definitely be doing more of the course.

Absolute Scam They charge you and extortionate amount for rechecking a paper and do not warm you like they warn you about using AI.Misleading business practices. Extensions cost a fortune and you don't even get a hardcopy certificate you have to pay extra for that. The course work is glitchy on almost every browser full of bugs and to make it worse looks like it is written by a first year, filled to the brim with typos and grammatical errors. Unacceptable for an "English Course"This course is really not worth much unless you want to go and work in a third world country. You definitely will not be getting a respectful corporate role with this Ali express course. If you are disatisfied good luck getting your money back from them. I have asked for money back 5 times now and have been ignored each time.Also do not trust the fake reviews they nag people who pass to review them positively on all platforms. Last thing; do not think that you have to pay now because they have a 50%+ sale on. They always have a sale on!Take all of this into account before hanging your money over to these cowboys.
