The Scam Detector website Validator gives techflip.co.uk a fairly low score on the platform: 23.1. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 23.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to techflip.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites

- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection

While some are self-explanatory concerning techflip.co.uk, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between techflip.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of techflip.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of techflip.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. techflip.co.uk is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether techflip.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether techflip.co.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, techflip.co.uk.

As per previous comments, Thieves at best. was offered £40 for my device perfect working order when i sent to them theu took nearly two weeks to offer me £10 or return my device once i sent them|£20. Knowing they had me over a barrel. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO ACCEPT. They also asked me to send special delivery and refund my £5 postage, again this never happened. This guiy who runs this company is a thief TRUST ME DO NOT USE THEM.
Company is a scam. Like others I didn't search for reviews before sending in my Ipad AIR. One email response was received saying they would raise to the right department with no name or phone number from them. All other emails have gone unanswered; UPS wouldn't help either, all I was after was the delivery address as I couldn't get the label again online. I was lucky as device was only worth £105 with Apple trade in. I guess the £170 offer should have set off alarm bells! Going to report to Trading Standards & Actionfraud. It isn't about the money now it is to try and get their website shut down.
Like others, I have been scammed by this company. I sent a like new device and ignored for a week. Only when I copied in Trading Standards in two areas (as businesses overlap) that I got a response offering a ridiculous amount due to a faulty element. I can guarantee that it was in perfect condition but I am not naive, it would be classed as used.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. TechFlip, Tech Mania. Refer to Companies House for more information about the individual involved in this. Absolute Scum.
Absolute scumbags!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TAKE YOURE GOODS AND NOT PAY! I have reported them to trading standards, police action fraud and their local police. I ask everyone else to please do the same and make sure nobody else uses this scam company
Total scam. DO NOT USE. I'm quite savvy usually and read reviews which were good but now I'm wondering if it was a similar name. Mobile picked up by UPS and nothing since. No replies to emails. Phone was safely delivered to them. Office in Salford. Reported
Avoid this company at all costs. You send them a grade A class mobile phone which was always kept in a leather case and has had a screen protector on it. When they receive it they say it is catorgory C with scratches on it and then offer you roughly half the value originaly quoted. If you argue with them the value may go up. As to receiving payment in 24 hours, this is complete lies. Took nearly 3 weeks to get paid.
Like I have just read, I didn't read the reviews of techflip.co.uk. they offered me £150 for my Samsung Galaxy in perfect condition. Phone was sent, then gets an email saying phone was not in the condition that I described (lies as it was) and offered me £62.00. Then said I accepted this counter offer (which i didnt) then to top it all it said if you want you r phone posting back it's £20.00. I have contacted them asking for my phone back 20 times, no response. Avoid this company like the plague, rip off scammers. And thief's.. No wonder they don't have a phone number.. i
This is a complete scam to con you out of your stuff. Reported to action fraud to investigate. Continue to email them every day but no response. Also contacted UPS who collected the phone but no help.
May I suggest ALL complaining individuals who have been scammed contact “Actionfraud.police.uk” and file a complaint. Don’t know how much effect this will make, but can’t do any harm. I have contacted them.
Booked collection before I read reviews, and most people are correct AVOID at all costs, initial offer £10, reduced to £5 or £20 to return goods, rellay got you. Sure doesn't cost £20 to return
My phone was delivered to this rip of company 3 days ago I have emailed at least 8 times no response no phone number listed so I can’t call . Total rip of do not use I have now reported this company to greater Manchester police and apple see if I can rattle their cage . I suggest everyone else reports to police as well as they are clearly illegal and advert is still on line
Had the same as everyone else, sent my iPhone 12 last Wednesday, delivered Thursday but no contact since. Several emails later-nothing. Complete con artists!
This company WILL SCAM YOU! If you have already been scammed by them, then please speak to citizens advice and they will talk you through what you need to do. They will also report them to trading standards for you. Please also report to ASA. Let’s take these scum bags down!!!!!
Again I been had by these , I sent playstation slim was received yesterday morning, has been radio silence ever since , what a scam , I will ring the police in Manchester
This company is a complete scam! I sold my iPhone 12 Pro, which was in perfect condition. The website initially offered £270, but after I posted it to them, they claimed it had "excessive scratches" and reduced the offer to £120. I refused, but now they’re not returning the phone and won’t provide any information on how I can get it back. They’ve stopped responding altogether.I checked Companies House and discovered the company was officially dissolved on 8th October 2024, yet I received an email from them on 1st November with their so-called offer. Additionally, the Trustpilot reviews on their website are blatantly fake—clearly designed to deceive customers.
As many have said, this is a rip-off crew. I've always had my devices fully protected from possible damage, yet my pristine tablet was downgraded from £40 to £18, with a £20 cost to return if I didn't accept the revised offer. One star is far too generous but it's the lowest score available.
THIS IS A SCAM! Please do not be fooled. I was offered £410 for an iPhone 16 126GB which looks as new as I keep them in Otter Defender cases and screen protectors. You get the quote and send off the device. Low and behold the device is then valued at £190 and you are asked to confirm or reject the price. I clicked neither and had an email thanking me for accepting the deal. I have sent numerous emails and get very flaky replies. Then was told there was a system error. £190 has been sent to my account and I have been told the deal is closed. I did not accept the deal and am going to report this as theft. I am also going to report to HMRC as I have found out that the company ceased trading in September of this year. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM!
I wish I had read these reviews before sending my xbox to these shysters. It was collected a week ago and when I emailed them today they said they hadn't received it. Parcelforce have delivered it 5 days ago and have sent me a photo.A V. O I D
DONT USE THESE!!!! On the website they gave me a quote of £410 and the UPS came to pick my iPhone 14 up and it says on the website that in 24hrs you get a price for your phone as soon as they receive it and I haven’t heard nothing back!!! They’re basically stolen my iPhone 14 and scammed me so I’m down an iPhone 14 and no money
Sent a PS5 to them. Got confirmation of receipt. Nothing else has happened. No contact details for the company, emailed them but got nothing back.I warn you it's a complete scam.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
