tascaparts.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives tascaparts.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to tascaparts.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning tascaparts.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between tascaparts.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of tascaparts.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of tascaparts.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. tascaparts.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether tascaparts.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether tascaparts.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, tascaparts.com.

Had an outstanding experience with Tasca parts. Ordered OEM inside door handle for my 2002 Miata. Ordering was simple and customer service was great. This was the best price online. Part arrived in 9 days of actual order. Very happy.
Super slow delivery, poor communication. I placed the order 10 days ago, all parts listed as in stock, Told today via online chat, no phone number listed, told to wait 3-5 days for delivery. This will be the only order I place with them. Also their reviews on the site must be bogus, there is no way to make a new review there.
Shopped online for a part that only Tasca had in stock.Other sites charged about $50 (based on size and weight of the shipment) for the parts, while Tasca was at $197."Chatted" online with them numerous times and every time I was assured they'd fix their mistake (their database had incorrect size info for the part)...In the end, they never made that change so the shipping charge stayed ridiculously high.I ended up not buying the part at all and found a different solution.Wasted a LOT of time with these clowns and will not check with them again in the future for other parts as this is not the first time I've run in to this with them. It is (was) the last time, though.
Was over-charged for a bolt which was listed as "Package of 3", but was only one bolt. Then due to SUPER-SLOW shipping i was forced to complete my repair with parts sourced locally. Now I'm trying to return the parts and they; have no phone number, don't return emails, and don't respond to their CS comment page. To make it worse, the page you need to go through to get an "RMA#" number to return your parts, is constantly "in error" and won't load (50+ attempts).
I ordered a part 7 days ago and I still waiting and I went to see the order status and after 7 days say in progress really bad service
First 2 orders of small items went fine. The latest order was bigger and they responded well to ensure the parts were compatible, they then delivered 1 of wrong parts. I've not been able to get a response since and I'm having to get my credit card provider to reverse the transaction.EDIT: Tascaparts asked for details after seeing my review, never heard back. Credit card company refunded me the money, Lesson Learnt.
This company fails to respond to emails, chat, phone, etc. I've tried to cancel my order numerous times, to no avail. It's amazing how Paypal is complicit too. I've tried to escalate to Paypal, to no avail. No product and money lost, but i'm not going to allow this company to continue this behavior and take money from others. ATTN: Tasca Parts: I will seek relief, as I am legally entitled to do.
I placed an order with tasca auto parts for a part that was hard to find and the price seemed too good to be true.. after some initial communication and a whole lot of worrying by me they sent the proper part within a reasonable time frame and the price was less than half of other dealers..It sounds like some people had negative reviews but mine is definitely a positive one!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Expect most of your order to be out of stock or "require a special order," then you will get radio silence for weeks since they have no customer service at all. Finally, when you attempt to cancel, they will not respond and still ship you something weeks late so they can deny a credit card dispute. Total scam.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It was my fault for ordering the wrong part. Any decent company will refund, as long as returns are in accordance with policies. MINE WAS. Since sending back the part (per TASCA instructions) via FEDEX... NO RESPONSE, and NO REFUND! Their Live Chat doesn’t respond. Their Email doesn’t respond. No Phone, or Customer Service Rep to speak to. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Online order says in stock, not in stock, they had to special order which took several more days. Tried contacting numerous times for “core” return via email, no response, via online chats, chat doesn’t work for numerous reasons. So much for quality service after the sale,…hell, ANY service.
They were quick to charge my account but cannot provide me at least a tracking number even after one week. They are still using the COVID excuse ("Thank you for your patience with delays in order processing and shipping as our business adapts to changes resulting from COVID-19."). Cancellation of the order is also an unpleasant experience. They want to do it via chat unit the chat which, every time I log in has the message "Sorry we are offline. Message us."
Used VIN verification system for a seat release handle. Customer service contacted me a week later that I needed to change the part number to match the VIN I provided. Took another week and a half to actually confirm color and finally ship. Wrong part and couldn't be used. Extremely difficult getting customer service. Attempted to contact multiple times before emailed response that allowed for return. Even then I am told I need to pay for return shipping. Policy indicates if mistake is on Tasca side (VIN verification?), they would pay for shipping. Can't get any answer for why I'm having to pay for shipping. I'm done with this organization.
States "we are the experts in international Shipping" they can't even get national shipping correct....we received a truck part a large one in a plastic bag and sticky bubble wrap holding it together already broken. Not to mention they say a few days shipping it really takes weeks! Took multiple emails and a live chat to get anywhere as they have no customer service line. Only to be told to put in original packaging and box! Then they suggested I put it in a box and return it. needless to say we will never order from this place a again!
Be where of dealing with this company. They offered free shipping get charged $15 on check out. When I sold this charge I canceled my order. Yet they still put the credit card through. There is no customer service this company is not able to be reached. If you call their customer service line you get a recording saying that the customer service is shut down. There areLots of legitimate companies selling auto parts. Do not buy from these unscrupulous operators
Order #1620568wish I can give zero stars, wish I read reviews before I place my order. no replies to calls, no replies to email. all im getting is auto generated email that my order is in progress. since 25 April same exact email, 4-6 days never ends.Beware of dealing with this company. There is no customer service this company is not able to be reached. If you call their customer service line you get a recording saying that the customer service is shut down. There are Lots of legitimate companies selling auto parts. Do not buy from these unscrupulous operators, i already claimed my fund through paypal.
This is a follow up review. My Lincoln Nautilus had a leak. The water was coming in and filling up my spare tire well. I brought it to two other dealerships and they couldn’t find the leak. I brought it to Tasca in Cranston and was met by Eric Defalco he was very understanding and comfortable to talk to. In my first review I explained how it was a joy deal with with Eric. With this follow up review I want to say this past week 3/4/24-3/9/24 we had close to 3”-5” of rain and I have not one drop of water in my SUV. I tip my hat to all the technicians who worked on my SUV not only no water but the inside of my SUV is DRY no moisture or musty smell. They didn’t just fix the leak they dried out all the insulation too. I thank you for an outstanding job!
From the time I placed my order until I received it was 2 weeks. In today's world, that is unacceptable. That's just the beginning. I unwrap everything, it appears to be ok and I throw out all the packaging. I go to install it to find out they sent me duplicates of one part and none of another. Now they won't take the duplicate back and send me the right part because I don't have the packaging. They screwed up, not me. Now I'm screwed because I assumed they were competent and got my order right. This place is a joke. Stay away.
Placed a order for a water pump, thermostat and necessary gaskets for my F250 with 6.2L gasser on September 25th. After a 2 week delay as they rounded up the parts. They shipped it USPS for $21+ and got lost(priority mail that took 7 days). For that money it should of went UPS or FedEx ground. Water pump AL3Z-8501-D arrived damaged(impeller bent on shaft). Tried calling but got message they don't take live phone calls and to use their email. So after emailing the company and no response after 3 business days. Called and filed dispute with Discover Credit. Buyer beware. Order number 1674044.
SCAMMERS! Do not use this website! Placed an order on April 29th and it never shipped because it needed "special processing." After numerous emails to them, there was no response. About two months after my order, I contacted PayPal and they finally refunded once PayPal got involved. Most companies do not charge until the order ships, but they charged my card before it shipped, knowing it would never ship. I doubt they even have anything they sell on their site. They do not respond to messages unless you report them to PayPal for fraud!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
