Is tailoredtackle.com Legit?

I had an initial issue with payment via the system, but I got in touch and the customer service was excellent and I promptly received the items I had wanted to purchase. The items themselves were great quality, which have been used many times since the purchase. The only feedback point I have is, could you do any items with extra length to help fit better for the taller rotund angler?

Don’t know why I’m being asked to review a product I haven’t received yet? It’s been 5-7 business days and I haven’t even getting a tracking number. Any chance you know when my order will arrive? i've ordered different stuff from different sites before, they always say in stock and then maybe two weeks later if i'm lucky it ships. tailored tackle however actually shipped next day so i'd use them again they're great. i ordered a surf pole for a vacation this summer and it's a great looking rod and reel combo i can't wait to finally use it.

the merchandised is listed for beginners. But for only $35 its a great purchase. This box is full of hooks and lures for surf fishing. Purchasing this assortment has saved me a considerable amount of money. Have yet to purchase anything from tailored tackle but i'll be shopping at there website regularly.

Purchased Rod/Reel combo 10ft surf Rod. Used first time in Cape Hatteras Invitational Tournament. (Fish refused to cooperate). First time surf fishing so I'm certainly not the expert, but I am a seasoned freshwater angler. Combo is smooth and light but strong and sturdy. Thinking about a 12ft combo in near future. Bought two walleye tackle kits and books as presents prior to a family fishing trip. Got a pole waited over a month it was sent broke then told I would get a new one then waited past the 5-10 days and was told I would get one then I was told they were out of stock. I ordered from this company a lot and now gonna have to find someone new after this experience. Best regards isaac

I decided to take up surf fishing after a break of over 40 years, so I ordered the surf rod & reel combo and the surf tackle kit, which is very comprehensive. Everything arrived quickly, and looked and worked as expected. The included guides were also useful, especially to set up different rigs. I even caught a fish on my second time out, even though conditions were not great. Time will tell how it all holds up but, so far, I could not be more pleased. It’s also worth downloading the PDF library, which is also very useful - especially for beginners!

I had never used a Bait Casting rod/reel before, so I did some research and found Tailored Tackle. I let them know via the 'contact us' page on their website and less than 24 hours later Ed (the owner no less) emailed me personally to let me know he shipped the Guide AND he attached a pdf so I had it immediately. After not being available for a while, I was recently able to place an order for the fresh water fishing kit. I purchased 1 for my nephew as a gift and decided to get a second for myself. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure I received at least 1 since they had been unavailable. The first was sent & shortly after a second one was sent separately. They communicated with me to avoid any confusion. I did actually end up receiving both on the same day. I was very satisfied with the quality and will probably by a couple more as gifts to some beginner fishers.

I researched combos before making my purchase. This is a great combo. I ended up purchasing the Multispecies Spinning Reel combo. Well made rod and reel. I had zero issues with the reel. Great customer service. I would highly recommend this combo over other high priced combos listed on amazon. No issue with the tip. Some reviews on amazon complained about the tip breaking. I have accidently dropped the rod and also accidently stuck the ceiling in my garage and no damage. Great quality and greate purchase for the value.

I bought the tackle box, rod, and reel as a retirement gift for a coworker. I can't speak to the items itself because I haven't seen or used them however, the company itself is AMAZING!! We had an issue with the shipping due to Hurricane Ida and owner personally reached out to me and helped me track down where the items were. He also kept on top of it until they arrived and waited for me to verify with my coworker they did, in fact, arrive.
