Is tackledirect.com Legit?

Purchased A Shimano Rod..July 1st 2024..Today Is August 8 2024..I Have Asked Multipe Times For A Refund..Tackle Direct Will Steal Your Money!!!!!!

I ordered a reel on 6/20 and there was a 7-14 business day wait on it, ok no problem. So business day 15 rolls around and I hear nothing back from them, I contacted them and asked about the order and the next day on business day 16, Kelly from cs said sorry its out of stock... WHY DOES IT TAKE 16 BUSINESS DAYS TO TELL ME THAT AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK???

They need to have the product before they take your money. I want to see how long before the credit my pay pal account. Purchase them elsewhere

Really good communication, fast shipping ( when the product is in stock at Tackle Direct) and really good shipping tracking .Fishing rod was well protected in a strong cardboard tube.US customs costs 33$ cad for a 160$ cad product , shipping cost 8$ cad . I recommend, thanks

I ordered some fishing lures, I've been waiting for them for 7 days, I tried to contact them by email, they don't bother to answer. I do not recommend ordering anything from this site, they are not trustworthy.

It's really a pleasure dealing with tackleDirect. Someone is always available to answer a question - by phone or chat. The communication is always competent and honest and wait times are short. They carry a huge lineup of products. They ship fast - usually the next business day. They have become my goto online tackle store.

Placed my order. Initially, received everything fast and prompt as promised except for the rod as it was coming from a supplier's warehouse. Waited several days without and word or notification.. I eventually called up to see what was going on and almost immediately got a rep. The rep explained the delay and offered to switch out the original rod for a similar rod of the same make and model that was for the same price without any charge. The rod arrived two to three days later and I can't wait to start using it next year.

Item said 7-14 business days when I placed order, nearly 2 months later it finally shipped, and arrived with scratches all over it. Didn't bother returning because of how long it took to get.EDIT: Tyler from tackle direct gave me a call after reading my review and he made things right and gave me a partial credit back towards my combo. I am very pleased with their willingness to correct things.

Very good website with a wide variety of products based on the Asian, namely Korean market. I haven't had any bad customer service experience so far so I can't say much about that. Also, I love the fact that they offer free gifts everyday and have the customer loyalty program to offer more comfort and discount to the customers. Keep up the good job!

I wanted to buy a spinning reel online and use my Reward Points however I had an issue (probably my ineptitude with technology). I called TD and the gentleman that I had talked with was very helpful and was able to take my order over the phone and apply my points. Received my reel much sooner than anticipated. Place my lure order online without any difficulty. Received my order complete in just a view days. Have ordered some Gloomis rods in past and was real happy with how they were packaged for shipment. Will be ordering MORE items in future.

Good selection and helpful customer service. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that its tricky to navigate their site and determine which products are in stock and which they have to source from the manufacturer/suppliers. Just double check when selecting items and you’ll be fine.

Update 9 days later. Receiving shipping info for replacementUpdate 4 days later. I did not received a call the next day. So I call the following day and got Billy to inform me that he will have Chris call me back. Chris agree to send me a prepay shipping and resolve the issue by refund or exchange. I sent the rod back so let's see how this end.Original review: Just got off the phone with Craig. I sent an email but got no reply so I made a call. Receive a fishing rod with bent blank. He said it is normal does not affect the function, but would anyone wants to pickup a bent rod while shopping for a fishing pole. Return shipping is gonna cost me $20. I am waiting to get a return call from them tomorrow and update this review. Otherwise, I will not be visiting or buying anything else from this place. I will share my experience with those around me also.

Unfortunately,the original order was delivered damaged. I ordered a travel rod and the the tip was broke even though it seemed well protected. I followed the instructions and TackleDirect sent out the new rod after they received the damaged one. I was happy with the companies response.

I would like faster shipping for more competitive price like with Amazon, but I understand tackledirect doesn't have the resources that Amazon has its disposal. I will be using tackledirect.com again. Thank you

“Paradise for fishermen”

This is a real paradise for fishermen. As I am the one, I decided to look at the assortment here. I didn't need any spinning, because i have the most advanced one, but as for the nets and lures... I ordered them here, because their range if quite big and it was interesting for me to stare at the monitor for a couple of hours, lmao. On top of that, I now think of changing spinning reel. Yeah, i said I got one of the best spinnings, but i see there are some more fancier.

Average or below. No clarity on shipping status, shipment splits or when to expect stuff that apparently wasn't available. Asked CS via phone to add something to an order only to find billed/shipped separately. Ok but definitely not my first choice to shop here again.
