swissport.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives swissport.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 86.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 86.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to swissport.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning swissport.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between swissport.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of swissport.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of swissport.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. swissport.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether swissport.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether swissport.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, swissport.com.

Unfortunately I had to give a star in order to leave a review. In summary my suitcase went missing on Friday 19 July following the computer glitch. Gavin in Edinburgh airport who I first dealt with was fantastic however when I phoned on a daily basis to get an update I was directed to a call centre in Manila and told every day “ We are sorry Miss Nicola we cannot trace your suitcase” My suitcase has been sitting in Edinburgh airport apparently for 5 days a forty minute drive from me but no one thought to inform me.A shambolic stressful experience I don’t want to repeat. When I went to the airport today, I retrieved my case instantly. Unfortunately I don’t know the helpful member of staffs name.In summary the Swissport Edinburgh airport staff were fantastic. Swissport call centre could I suggest you learn from them!
In order to help Swiss, I was happy to let my handluggage go into the hold - which, since, has not been seen. It is now 4 day post the flight, and my repeated calls to swissport are met with rude people, lying the blue from the sky, even telling me that they ly in order to get rid of people. And, my case still being lost. I can't believe there is such bad service in Switzerland!!! I also would give zero stars if that were possible.
The most important information is not disclosed!!!! Any bonded warehouse notifies the consignee and/or the broker regarding the storage and sends reminders about the due dates and amounts. Not Swissport. The tariffs are insane. And their deadline is the same. Only if you check their website you find out that the free time is only 2 days after arrival. It is impossible to avoid this horrid situation that gets worse day by day. An exorbitant price to pay for this unnecessary lesson. The "rate your experience" should provide negative stars, Swissport does not deserve the one star that comes by default.
Flew Belfast to Manchester, Swissport lost my checked in bag. Swissport Belfast insisted it was in Manchester, Swissport Manchester insisted it was not.Everyone I spoke to from Swissport was useless. In the end I called the airport police who found my bag on CCTV (in Belfast!), and confirmed for me that it never went on the plane and someone from Swissport picked it up again. Only after the police called Swissport Belfast did I get any results! This is an absolutely pathetic company with a 'who cares?' culture that clearly stems from a complete lack of oversight or repercussions for their abysmal lack of professionalism.
Ground staff Luton airport untouchable ! They say they are supervisor they are senior staff ! Everything they say goes ….Thanks goodness for witnesses and court orders we will get to the bottom of this . Luton will be my absolutely last choice! Total abuse power plus disrespect to paying costumers . Complain immediately
Very unpleasant incident at Luton airport while I was in waiting area behind me was telliaviv boarding around 7am was boarding I still observing religious gatherings and was fascinated by all this . Woman was running up down shouting “excuses excuses me call supervisor” then they had heated discussions. They were walking away checking in desc lady with glasses was swearing and said F..oof word that was very unprofessional . I understand can be very stressful but unprofessional street level .Possibly she thought nobody around but sill shocking . Check in lady’s looked extremely victorious . Luton is not my favourite unfortunately.
Swissport Geneva, my bags did not arrive on my flight. I reported it and got a reference number that I should be able to use online to follow the evolution. Of course this doesn't work, error messages only. So, I phone the airport to get information. First of all the person was very unclear, limit rude and I have called 3 times and every time I get different answer. Finally, the final call, when I expressed my unsatisfaction, they hung up on me. No consideration of the fact that I have 2 bags lost somewhere, I and flew business...
In short: bad customer service, rule staff, wish never encounter againOur flight was cancelled and we totally understood this inconvinience; however, when we were at the counter checking-in again, the staff was so crabby, using words as if she was ordering us around. Also when we asked to be seated in the same row because we were travelling with a minor (a teenager but still), she refused although the plane wasn't full. I could ụderstand there were some problems with the flight but never for bad services & impolite behaviours towards customers. It was such an unhappy experience. There was another staff who is friendly but the initial encounter was so bad we hope we would never have to take services with them again.
Diabolical service , still awaiting a response from 16 th June , unfortunately due to a medical issue we can hone early from Turkey , on arrival at Leeds airport , no one in baggage area , to report side of my fathers wheelchair missing, I asked lovely jet2 lady near the toilets what’s the procedure? She said typical no one at arrival hall and to go to departure and look for swissport Yes two ladies helping customers at self service check in !! I waited in a queue , explained situation, she spoke on her radio after no reply , I stated we have taxi waiting and do I need a conform ? She laughed and said No not for that “ he won’t fall out of chair “ I have since sent several emails , it’s not the monies I have to pay for a new side , but no one will act responsibly, even acknowledged my emails !!!
I was charged £46.00 for my bag because it was 1 inch too high. The same bag, I might add, that I traveled to Birmingham with and indeed on other flights with Ryanair. I was breathless but the male attendant ( somewhat ironic that his job title is attendant!) showed me no sympathy whatsoever and told me I had two minutes to pay otherwise I would not be able to board or I could leave my bag behind. He was despicable and it is disgusting behaviour. Furthermore, when I boarded the flight after paying £46 there were uptrend empty overhead bins. This type of behaviour should not be allowed
Horrendous staff at Santorini airport. After trying to contact them to retrieve my kindle I failed to get a reply to my 2 emails. When I arrived at the airport I was told to go and wait in arrivals for another member of the team to come and speak to me. After waiting for 20 mins, I went back to the help desk who told me I would just have to wait because they were busy and were not bothered I had to catch a flight. After waiting another 20 mins for ‘Nico’ I had to leave to catch my flight. Horrendous most vilest customer service I have experience. They are basically thieves as I never got my kindle back. An embarrassment of a company! I have been to Santorini 4 times and have never experienced anyone on the island as horrendous as the staff at Swissport. Disgusting. I will be putting in a formal complaint l!
Edinburgh airport. Absolutely disgraceful lack of staff knowledge, process and customer info. Staff at Swissport let you wait for hours, then when they get an angry crowd, three staff in a row said they will go inside and look for baggage. They then left and did not come back leaving the next colleague to deal with the aftermath. No one know anything. Despite seeing from my AirTag they have had my bag in the airport for 24 hours. My medication is inside the bag, I cannot be this long without it, I have explained everything and no one listens. In addition, the telephone line they give, no one answers, the emails, no one answers. I am still here at the airport having stood all day and been lied to by several staff. This is shocking! It was the same yesterday and now today.
Extremely unprofessional and rude. I travel all over the world and this is absolutely the worst customer service at an airport. Don’t understand why they were managing RyanAir, but they charged dozens of customers for a larger bag, even a woman whose bag fit, but stuck out maybe a half centimeter. I have never seen anything this crazy at a gate before and it’s honestly a money grab. This was at Bristol airport to Dublin on ryanair.
We were denied entry to the Birmingham Airport due to the chaotic mismanagement of the terminal security area. No1 Lounge are now refusing to refund the cost of our lounge passes. I am now taking legal action whatever the cost. Take my advice, don't ever book No1 Lounge they are very unseasonal people.
Awful company.Similar to other people on here I feel you get bounced from person to person with no real information. Rude. Unhelpful. Hinderences if anything. The flight was cancelled for bad weather (V. Windy and it's a small propeller plane) okay fine. But rather than tell us this, they delayed the flight 3 hours or so and then it was just impossible to get information. 1 hour hearded together, sent down corridors etc and a lot of waiting to be told that we should sort it out ourselves through Air Lingus. Apparently, it's hard to believe it, but the swissport computer systems are 'too old' and would take far to long for them to sort everyone out??I agree with others that it's a lot of hiding tactics, like one man appears then says he'll be right back then it's another representative.5 different representatives but no real information. If they had told us at 1200 (when the flight was) that it would most likely be cancelled I could have booked onto something and not missed my university graduation, as it was it was 1730 before we knew. And there was no way to make it work.I've missed a life event and basically with very little support or deciding action by Swiss port. 7 hours in an airport for nothing. What a crap day I've had.
If I could give zero I would. Coming from Cairo and our bags were delayed over an hour. 4 other flights had come and gone on our belt before we got our bags. Customer service was an actual joke and zero help whatsoever! I’ve never seen people who were that useless before working at an airport. They said they were understaffed yet there were 4 people at the customers desk doing absolutely nothing
Swissport are Vueling’s baggage handlers at LHR. Our bag has been lost by Vueling 5 days ago and there is no information or any actual help or assistance. As far as I can tell, someone in Paris couldn’t be bothered to do their job and me and my kids are now paying the price as we’ve lost medical equipment and medicines.
After a fiasco situation, arriving to board a plane without my passport, Shane & Taylor in Cork Airport remained calm, helped me look for my passport, googled an alternative flight that would get me to my destination & couldn’t have been kinder & more helpful than what they were. They are a great asset to Swissport & Cork Airport. 10/10, I couldn’t ask for more
If I could give this a 0 I would. They with Fiji airlines have lost my bags now for nearly three weeks. There is no communication or updates and when I call Swissport they tell me a different sorry every time. They don’t even know categorically if my bag left San Francisco. Such incompetence and uncaring it’s disgusting. If i could travel back to SFO and look for my own bags I think I’d have more success . At my wits end with lack of communication and lack of trying
Birmingham airport. Ryanair overbooked my flight so I was unable to check in online. As a result, I was directed to Swissport sales desk. The insane fact that I was not guaranteed a seat despite booking a priority ticket far in advance aside, I have never met more confrontational staff than that of Swissport. I communicated with three different members throughout my time at the airport, and each one seemed to encourage confrontation whenever I was inquiring about my situation. To emphasise, other representatives in the airport that were not part of Swissport were great and wanted to help. It seems that once someone gets to wear a Swissport lanyard, they enjoy an inflated ego.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
