Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

I am suspicious about thos site. They gave me a call notifying me that I have an account expiring with them for about a year. I do not recall any registration and normally I am good at keeping records like this. Now they claim that I have revenue ~$3000 and I do owe them ~$300 for annual services. tastes fishy to me. I would investigate further to understands what it is about. Absence of comments makes me suspicious as well. Another interesting fact is that domain registered for 3 month and I owe them for an year :(
I was just called by someone also claiming I own this website, owe $ for the last year for it's use that I signed up for it in 2020, and I will be sent to collections if I don't pay immediately. She was very nasty, wanted my email address to send me a payment verification, and wouldn't tell me what $ amount was past due without my email info I refused to give her the info, told her I never ordered a website, and have no intention to pay for something I never ordered. She said she can't remember what she had for lunch yesterday, so how do I know I didn't order this? she then said she was sending me to collections, This sounds like a SCAM, I have never signed up for a website not have I ever heard of this one before she called.
They are using this website as a front to scam money. They claim the wesite is over a year old and that it you owe them for the webpage hosting fees to the tune of $300 or more. They also claim that you have over $3000.00 in escrow that the site earned over the year period. They use this to get you to pay years marketing fees using the escrow funds and additional $5000.00, No website is reviewed; user name or password is setup. They want the funds paid via wired, cashier check or certified check. You can use Zelle as well to send funds. Total SCAM.
I'm a victim! You just confirmed what happen to me. I fail to challenge their scammers. I was protecting my credit score. They were well verse. Professional thieves. They had the right responses to every question. BBS https://www.superonlineshopping.net/back-office. I tried to send you the invoice. but they have that covered also.
