superbookdeals.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives superbookdeals.com a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 49.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 49.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to superbookdeals.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning superbookdeals.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between superbookdeals.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of superbookdeals.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of superbookdeals.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. superbookdeals.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether superbookdeals.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether superbookdeals.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, superbookdeals.com.

Order #40893594380525121 . Book name The Art of India. Ordered in the month of April 2024.But received wrong item. Same was informed and reordered. So far no action is taken. It is very bad service. Requested kindly send correct item or refund the amount early. Thanks.
Absolutely frustrated with Super Book Deals! Placed an order for four books, thinking ahead for our exams, only to find out they wouldn’t make it in time. Tried to cancel, but oh, suddenly they’re ‘shipped’ - yeah right. The books turned up eventually, along with a lovely tax bill. Jumped through hoops to return them, avoiding Amazon like they suggested. This circus started in September 2023, and here we are in 2024, still chasing after my $600 refund. And to think, Amazon just watches this happen. Unbelievable.
I read reviews that were not that good after I sent for a book I had to have because I gave away my copy. I then started to doubt I did the right thing in ordering, especially since only new or used were the blocks you could check. I like a description better, but I took a chance on a book from 1976 that I loved. I cannot stress enough how great my experience was! The book is in excellent to like new condition and each day since I ordered I received up dates until it arrived. Thank you Super Book Deals!
They ended up the “dealer” when I placed an order through Walmart for a book that was harder to find, for someone else. The book came damaged and Walmart basically needed me to deal with superbookdeals. They sent one automated message many days later and when I tried to reach out 3 more times to them…radio silence. Would not recommend dealing with…and if you do, it’s at your own risk. Dont expect communication. Had I known it was through a secondary dealer, I would have researched much better and not ordered through them.
Stay away. I ordered my textbook on 7/19. They didn’t ship until 7/28. The book is delayed. A replacement was supposedly ship—but no ETA or tracking information provided. Customer service is nonresponsive and untimely. For example, they only answer 1 email at a time every 24 hours. Now stuck requesting refund. And had to order from Wesley. STAY AWAY!
First of all Super Book Deals does NOT offer less expensive pricing. Secondly, they post erroneous shipping details. Thirdly, they do not communicate with their customers at any point during the transaction. Fourthly, Pony Express offers quicker shipping than Super Book Deals. Fifthly and finally, Super Book Deals SUCKS!!!!!
I ordered a travel guide from this seller, it never arrived. It was supposed to take a tad longer, but when it was still not there ten days after the date, I wrote to them to get my money back. They have now contacted me with a form from epostglobalshipping.com that purports to document delivery to my building. Regrettably, epostglobalshipping.com has a rating as dismal as theirs. I have demanded my money back, but I am not holding my breath .....J.K.
Ordered a book over one month ago. Book was never delivered and several emails to the company had them saying "in transit" all the time. I finally asked for refund but got same reply "in transit". Finally had to make use of eBay guarantee scheme and seller at once issued a refund. This seller seems to act in this way very many times according to other trustpilot reviews. I strongly suggest anyone should take these reviews into account before they attempt to buy from this seller
Rubbish. Will never buy from them again. Purchased a quite expensive book because I thought they would be faster to deliver than other vendors - totally wrong. ETA keeps changing and getting longer - over a month as I write now. They masquerade on Amazon as British/European traders but are in fact working from the US. I've been an internet book buyer for well over twenty years and this quite probably the worst service I've encountered.
Appalling company to deal with, ordered book through Amazon, no tracking number and allegedly sent by Australia Post. No response to emails at all. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Items do not arrive and getting refund even with Amazon a-z cover a nightmare. Reviews on Amazon are not from verified accounts and are very similar....maybe Amazon will delist them as its their goodname on the line...
Worst shopping experience ever. I lost £25 using this company. Product arrived so damaged it was unusable. The only way to get a refund was to pay for return postage that cost more than the book. Either way i would lose at least my initial payment. Reading the reviews from their American counterparts, being useless is The Superbookdeals mindsetUpdate: Have now received a full refund after 3 months of stubbornness and involving a third party to assist as mediator. Even so.............what terrible customer service!
Everything you read on these reviews is true. They pretend to ship books but don't. Treat customers as though they're stupid by providing pretend tracking details. They are liars, conmen and scammers. EBay should stop them from trading.
Book never arrived - sent instead something called a 'cahier', which is a pamphlet with staples on a totally unrelated subject, unwanted and unread.Found it impossible to deal with SuperBookDeals. Email replies were non-sensical rubbish, e.g. "We trust your family are well...". Another one was the book ordered was 'un-trackable' and they assured me it would arrive within the 'time specified for delivery'. That was way in the past.I don't believe they even had the book I ordered, at $A29.00, instead sent some rubbish (the 'cahier' was valued at $A779.00, while other sites offered it for free). Stay well away from SuperBookDeals.
I agree with the other reviews, a promised delivery date moves back every few days becoming meaningless. Either give a realistic date or say you deliver one day on a whim. what an appalling way to run a service.
This company advertised the ability to ship 2 books, before a certain date, which I needed for class. When I had yet to receive notice of shipment with 7 days to go on the date they claimed, I reached out. They did not respond. Then, I got a shipment notice AFTER the date they were to be delivered!I contacted them immediately and said I no longer needed them since they did not deliver them by the promised date. After 7 emails back & forth, they finally said to just "cross out your name & address, right return to sender, and mail them back".I did so. Weeks go by, no response or refund.I contact them, they claim they didn't get the return and what was the tracking #. Tracking #?!?! I sent them back AS REQUESTED!They then said wait.I waited.2 more weeks go by, I check in, and get a canned response about not receiving my order? I tell them to read our entire email thread. They claim they don't have access to it.I reply with ALL the prior emails. The final response? We don't accept returns after 30 days.AVOID THIS COMPANY!Other names this company uses:Far Corner BooksGreat Book PricesSuper Book Deals
Dishonest traders. Book ordered weeks and weeks ago. No arrival, no response, no replacement and no refund. "Tracking data" is patently false-the book was never mailed yet they were quick enough to take the money. Best avoided- not a great deal of money but they appear to do it over and over again- A nice little earner. I live close to their registered office in the UK- a temptation to whack them with a money claim summons "pour encourager".
Ordered a book from Super Book Deals using Amazon marketplace, but they cancelled the book, like the Book Depository did, the book was advertised at a lower price and again it took days for a refund!Eventually, I bought the book at a much higher price elsewhereI did complain to Amazon about their marketplace and the delay in issuing a refund
Worst Book Company on the Planet! Stay Away!Superbookdeals sells on Abe's Books. They state delivery in 4-14 days when in fact it is closer to a month or more. To top it off they shipped a collectable book in a thin plastic bag with absolutely no protection no bubble wrap, nothing. I opened the plastic bag and, sure enough, the top and bottom corners of the front of the book were dented and damaged beyond repair. I've never seen a lack of packaging in shipping of anything and I've been purchasing collectable books and other valuable items for over 40 years. AND...they ship via OSM: the worst shipping company in America. Just google OSM Shipping and read the terrible reviews. If you can't ship in a timely fashion, at least pack an item before shipping. They should be out of business by now. I could follow up with Abe's books and let them know about this under-performing "seller". And...Superbookdeals did not even provide a working tracking number!
Absolutely a scam.We ordered the Throne of Glass series on 12/11/2023 through this seller on Amazon. Our expected delivery date was 12/20 to 12/27. They marked the item as shipped on 12/13 but we weren’t given a tracking number. We contacted their chat team twice and requested a tracking number, they wouldn’t provide one and kept sending a generic response that items are shipped 2 business days after the order is made. We waited 8 business days without a tracking number and without any real communication from their customer service team before asking for our order to be cancelled and refunded. They refused to cancel our order, said our item has already been processed and shipped. On 12/20, the first day we should expect this order by, they sent a tracking number. The tracking number says nothing besides USPS is awaiting for this itemfrom the seller. Today’s now 12/27 12:00PM MST, the last day we should have received this order by and USPS still has not received this item from the seller. My spouse bought through them on Amazon bc he was unaware 3rd party sellers could be potential scammers. We have to wait until 12/31 to report themto Amazon and get our $140.00 back. I also attempted to email them through their official website, received the same runaround response. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
