Is stuhrling.com Legit?

I purchased a So & Co Watch from Debenhams on 30th April this year received it in May and wore it 3 times in November the watch stopped working. I wrote to Stuhrling and got told I would have to resend the watch back at $30 dollars for a repair? I have wrote to Debenhams saying how is this as I would had thought from May untill November a brand new watch battery should last over a year and feel its not a great customer service given I paid £53.50 for a watch that has worked just 7 months and worn 3 times. I have other watches that have Battery's that are still going after 2 years. So looks like both companies not willing to send out a new battery or even Debenhams able to return my email regarding this service given by one of its suppliers.The funny thing this watch was reduced so they state from over £350 which I really can't believe 🤔 perhaps buying from this company they should state battery last 6 months max

Bought one 3 years ago, needed one for work that I didn’t mind knocking about. It’s a quartz divers watch and it was just under £100 with a supposed retail price of over £500. It’s worth what I paid and it still works but it’s a cheap watch, wouldn’t buy another, it’s done its job but a used Seiko would have been better for similar money or even a new one. Think hard before you buy one!….

My first buy with Stuhrling Original and I can honestly say as a watch collector these watches are out of this world. Very affordable. Movement is amazing. Style is fantastic. Just beautiful reliable watch and I will be buying more from Stuhrling for my collection. Cannot say bad word. 5 stars

Bought the global voyager watch from Debenhams in a sale,discounted by 90%. No one would ever pay the retail price for it,I’m not happy with 90%discount. Absolute rubbish and looks cheap.It would be embarrassing giving it to a charity shop. How someone can give these watches 5* and a watch collector is beyond me. Avoid this crap at all costs.

I recently bought a Stuhrling watch and it arrived with some damages and scratches on the band. I have emailed Stuhrling with no response. I have tried calling their number they have listed on their website numerous times and no one picks up. I think all the numbers they have listed are fake. It is just an automated recording telling you someone will be on the line with you shortly and after waiting it says to leave a message. I am stuck now with a damaged watch. I have also tried to write a review and leave it on the Stuhrling website and it does not appear. They only seem to accept the good reviews. Save your money and buy a better watch somewhere else.

I purchased a Stührling watch in March, but by July, a defect with the red dial appeared without any misuse. I reached out to Stührling to request a repair under warranty, as required by EU law, but after more than a month and multiple follow-up emails, I have yet to receive any response. The lack of communication has been incredibly disappointing, especially since I’ve come across similar complaints from other customers about this same defect. If you’re in the EU and expect warranty support, be cautious—my experience has been frustrating, with no resolution in sight.

I like the watch and how it looks. My one big issue is that to check the time,I have to stare for a couple of seconds more than is normal. The second hand is thicker than the minute hand!!A real confusion! Shame. Has anyone else noticed this clear engineering error? JH

Terrible customer service spent 120 Pounds on a watch and express postage Trackage showed the watch had still not been dispatched by sturhing I have contacted them multiple times to no response it has been 2 weeks and I still haven’t received the watch awful experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID The biggest pile of scrap metal money can buy. I bought several of their watches thinking I was buying quality. Turned out that not long after all started to discolour and or corrode. Some are now so bad they are simply scrap and can only be thrown in the bin.

Bought a watch from them 4 years ago and ive worn it less than 20 times. Started to see a discolouration on the metal of the watch but ignored it. Went to get it out of the box the other day to wear to an event and saw that green corrosion nodules had grown on thw watch. Spoke to a representative, but they said this doesnt fall under the wear and tear policy. An absolute joke. Avoid buying these watches.

Bought a watch via debenhams on 30/08/24, till this date I haven't recieved the watch and debenhams has not gotten back to me regarding the purchase and tracking it. Broad day robbery. Save yourself fromedisappointment, avoid Stuhrling and Debenhams

Well, I was given an Aeronaut as a gift a few years ago and I really like this watch. I added another, this one a Meridian GMT, both pieces are quartz movements and are pretty basic. I've had no issues with either watch and despite the myriad of mixed and mostly negative reviews, I have no issues to complain about, certainly not cost. I knew I was getting a pretty basic, entry level watch.

Their support is absolutely missing. I ordered a watch to EU, which ended up held on borders because I need a real INVOICE, not some confirmation email for purchase. EU need to put extra tax on things coming from USA and because they are not providing the invoice and not replying, the watch have to return. What about a refund you would ask? I hope for one. I would never again risk with them. Absolutely not caring about their clients. Absolutely disrespectful!

I have had the watch for a year. Within the first 2 months, the metal strap came loose from the watch and it subsequently fell off my wrist onto the concrete floor, damaging the watch. More recently, the second hand came off and is now stuck inside as I adjusted the time. Its a shame as the watch looks very nice, however the craftmanship is terrible.

I bought this watch ( STÜHRLING OriginalDepthmaster 883H Automatic Swiss Dive Watch with Water Resistance up to 660 Feet )27th June 2023, It has never worked .It has been back to the company in Brooklyn New York three times (cost me £90 postage ) They will not give me a refund . THE 3 TIMES THEY HAVE TOLD ME ITS BEEN REPAIRED ,IT IS STILL NOT WORKING. . THEY ARE RIPPING CUSTOMERS OFF .DO NOT BUY .ITS A SCAM.

More expensive than expected!So I ordered the Special Reserve 3921 Skeleton Automatic and its a really beautiful watch. Works perfectly fine. I currently live in London and since they produce in New York it had to be shipped quite far. They claim to have "free shipping worldwide". What they do not tell you is that the orders can be held by customs and fees apply. I ended up paying additional 52 pounds for a 180 dollar watch. MENTAL. Afterwards I checked their website and it says that fees may apply. It would be much appreciated if that was specifically mentioned for overseas customers.Other than that the watch is really great!

Watch broke down 3 days after arriving.Terrible communication. Have involved Debenhams but no real progress months later.The watches are just rubbish but the customer service even worse.Stay away.

I ordered two watches from them and they shipped two watches. One was the correct watch the other one was incorrect, wrong color dial and wrong color strap. I tried calling them, left multiple messages and multiple emails, with no response. This is a scam of a company, they have no customer support and they do not return phone calls. Do not do business with this company.

Company that charges you for transport in advance and also, without notifying or putting the sender in the package, intends to charge you a refund of 25 euros for alleged customs expenses not mentioned above. Case won for my part on PayPal. They act in bad faith and their behavior is that of some small-time gangsters. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

I actually like the watch. It's just the right size for my wrist, is comfortable and looks great. Excellent for casual wear. That said, the product information clearly sates that the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters) but when you look at the watch case it clearly says on the back that it's only water resistant to 5 ATM. I had intended to use it as a dive watch, but I won't be doing that now. Also, the hands on the both the top and bottom chronograph dials don't zero out (see second photo). I wasn't going to use the chronograph anyway, so that's not a big deal, but it does suggest quality control is lacking, which makes me wonder just how well made this watch really is. I bought the watch for casual wear and it does look good, but if this is representative of Stuhrling products I will not be buying another and cannot in good conscience recommend them as quality watches unless I see a better put together unit.
