Is strangecattoys.com Legit?

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!! I recently tried to do business with them and it was a horrible experience overall. I guess the situation was that someone else in my apartment building had ordered from the sonny angel drop from their website? Anyways, two days passed after I place my order, and they had canceled it. so I contacted them, and I asked them what went wrong with the order. To which they immediately responded by saying that there is a two per person limit that I cannot exceed, and then told me to refer back to the email they sent me on my other “email” regarding the situation on my order. (Jumping straight to accusing me of what they had assumed instead of asking me, or communicating) I then replied and told them that I only placed one order for one singular sonny angel, and that it had to be a misunderstanding somehow because I live in a building so that might have been the problem, I asked them to check the order information and see if they could clarify because them canceling my order was crazy. They emailed me back saying that they already saw that we had the same address on the order and how I was being deceitful and manipulative and dishonest. It was really a nasty situation. I wasn’t being dishonest in the slightest, I was genuinely thrown off, I know other people in my building, that also collect sonnies, and we’ve ordered from the same drops before and nothing like this has ever happened. I guess the owner really had no idea how apartments work? But then they proceeded to call me names like dishonest and deceitful and a liar??? I think they genuinely handled the situation I think in the worst way they possibly could’ve, all while being completely in the wrong. And I still don’t have my refund, and I am now blocked on email and Instagram! The limit was two per person, and I had only ordered one to begin with! their stupid theory makes no sense. And they sat and called me names and blocked me on socials all because two people from an apartment building ordered from their website? I literally don’t even understand. But I hope my sonny girlies withhold from giving them our business.

I never received my order because the post office delivered it to the wrong address, but on the tracking report it said delivered. I spoke to Evette and, after emailing back and forth 10 times, she refused to believe what I was saying. Eventually the post office contacted me to report the package could not be found because it was no longer in their possession. I I was totally frustrated by the experience with them. I think the item I bought was $10 and instead of making this right, they called me a liar after my second purchase. Their customer service is very bad, insulting, and frustrating. They will not make it right if something happens to your order they will not replace it or refund the money. Buyer be where. This happened during June 2023.

Orders can take MONTHS if you are pre ordering but when you reach out to them for updates they always tell you it will be ready by a certain time and it never is. They are responsive but don’t expect your order anytime soon - I have an order from last year (2023) that hasn’t been fulfilled yet. Won’t be ordering through them again, unfortunately.

I would give them 0 stars of only I could.They sold me a figure as an blind box with chance of a chase but it was sent opened without any notice or warning.It was also damaged, wen I complained they refused to take any action or compensation.Definitely do not recommend them

How not to know and not to use Strange Cat Toys since on some toys it is the only one to distribute them, without forgetting their last beautiful collaboration with Chris RWK.Their shipping is fast and well protected.4 years I order from them and for me it's one of the best online shops

After 10 fine orders with this company over the past 2 years, unfortunately one arrived damaged. I contacted their customer service via email, sharing an image of the damaged (and previously repaired) "new" item, dented box, and single piece of paper that (did not) protect it, asking if a replacement could kindly be sent. Evette replied, offering an apology and directed me to file a claim with UPS.Since I have experienced a denied claim due to insufficient packaging (despite being packed by professional movers with much more padding than a single piece of paper), and because of the obviously glued repair to what should be a new toy, I asked if Strangecat might consider correcting the issue at the source, or if I needed to file the claim yet.Evette replied, noting they contacted the toy company on my behalf, who confirmed that repairs were indeed done on this toy and a replacement would be sent to Strangecat. Instead of a dedication to selling and delivering excellence, 3 paragraphs followed - defending their shipping process because part of my order did not break, acknowledging having no issues with me in the past, that the damage was due to mishandling by the courier and exacerbated by the previous damage, and that in the future, if I have "specific preferences" on how I would like my items to be shipped, I should reach out in advance to request sufficient(?) packaging, which I should note, "may impact shipping costs." A return label was also supplied to return the damaged item.I replied, hopeful that the explanations shared with me were not suggesting it was _my_ fault or responsibility to request sufficient padding for safe shipping; but rather, that that is hopefully a reasonable, baseline expectation for any purchase. I also thanked them for the return label, and asked if they could confirm the replacement would be sent to me (not only to them).Their reply was beyond disappointing, especially after 3 paragraphs that added nothing to the solution: "I see there's no interest in making this conversation constructive. As a result, we've graciously decided to refund you for the damaged item – mainly because we can't promise a replacement won't keep you guessing and because, let's face it, our packing expertise doesn't quite meet your standards. I would advise you look elsewhere for your toy needs."They were already a last resort due to their higher toy and shipping costs, but this lack of empathy and outright rudeness sealed the deal. I will not be back.
