steamgifts.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives steamgifts.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 87.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 87.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to steamgifts.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning steamgifts.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between steamgifts.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of steamgifts.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of steamgifts.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. steamgifts.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether steamgifts.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether steamgifts.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, steamgifts.com.

The site is overrun with bots and scammers. Don’t bring it up to the mods or they’ll ban you (pretty sure they’re running the bots). They stole about $200 worth of games and a few months of my time, I’m lucky that’s all I lost. If you really want to use the site I suggest joining a private group and only gifting to them (that’s what their mods do, see a pattern?) I suggest making your own small group of friends to share gifts, it’s all this site becomes unless you want to be taken advantage of.
Level 5 account permanently banned because my husband and I share a computer and apparently just one of us controls both accounts on the site. He literally goes "alright entered mine, your turn", passed computer over. Guilty before innocent, told us if we keep complaining we'll just be marked as spam and we can try again in 4 years to attempt to join the site again but no guarantees. We never created any trouble on the website, just liked sharing games. I guess our friends will benefit more now than giving back to the community. I defended this site for 10 years and now I feel like everyone talking about how toxic it feels are correct. Bots and spammers don't get banned but REAL people do who just visited the site as a hobby as a married couple. The moderators are heartless and I wouldn't want to go back now.
I have been using this site for 10 years and over 100k giveaway entries. It has small issues here and there. There are not many changes, thankfully. It makes many userscripts to work - those scripts allow easier navigation or faster entry over Giveaway. Some rules are not good - and it's most community-driven site, so it's also dependent on who interacts with you and if you get any beef.
Moderators are worse than here only on reddit. It is impossible to resolve the issue properly through support, and if you come across a person with mental problems, he will also be rude and threaten you.
A decent site ruined by poor mods. I've been gifting and entering giveaways for a long time and followed all the rules but suddently find myself punished for someone sending me a bad key.Seen lots of complaints about how the mods ban first, ask questions never, ignore tickets and apply no common sense. Absolutely shocking!
So now the kids who don't understand probability math are flagging actual legit reviews as harmful or illegal. Their only issue is that they didn't win enough which is quite clear for everyone to see. The site is meant for gifting games away, not everyone getting more games than they give which is simply impossible. For the kids: if there are 10.000 entries per giveaway then you must enter 10.000 giveaways to win 1 game on average. If you entered 100 and won 0 that means absolutely nothing.
Toxic and abusive mods. These peope should never been admins anywhere. Bans giving a false reasons ?? Getting banned for just having an opinion ? This site slowly goes into dark side of scam
`All the giveaways on this website our 100% created by the community and the winners are selected at random. Over 99% of the tens of thousands of giveaways that are created each month are successfully received. If you want to maximize your chances of winning, I recommend joining giveaway groups in the Discussions > Group Recruitment section. I myself have given out more than 160 and have received 93. Also remember to hide all giveaways above your level in the giveaway settings so you don't spend hours trying to find giveaways for low level users. (You can level up by giving games away yourself)
Idea is great but it's completely ruined by some unfortunate things:- It's a platform for all kinds of hate speech ranging from racial and ethnical to religious and sexual and the moderators do not interfere even when asked to do so. Apparently that kind of conflict keeps users online longer, in which case they see more ads.- Giveaways are frequently entered (and won) by an insane amount of bots, so that actual players' change to get anything is nearing zero.
very bad websiteAAA games goes to rigged winners ,probably admins/mods friends ,or to high level users to encorage them giving more and rigged theire walletadmins/mods abuse users ,ban them for no reason ,they even use unknown profiles to insult users who made anything against this website ,there is no free expretionthis website made tons of money by make you visite hundreds of pages everyday ,make you believe you will win ,but they only take benifit from ads if you have somthing to give ,use gleam if you you need to join giveaways ,just save your time ,and search otherwise ,this website is totally rigged ;you can win small bundled games ,but never AAA games
Bad reviews are probably from trolls who were hoping to abuse the system and got caught. This is a *free* site that acts only as a platform for people like you who have leftover keys from bundles and other promotional offers for Steam games they already have or do not want, to give them away. Winners get the key directly from others, without any scam possible. Scammers get banned immediately. It's all random so you may be without a win even with a thousand giveaway entered but if you are smart, and target giveaways without thousands of entries, you WILL win free games.
It's a great place to dispose of your extra Steam keys and get a chance at winning new games as well. The community on the site is really helpful. Most of the negative reviews are from salty people who got banned for breaking the rules, of from people who do not understand statistics and expected a constant flow of free games..
Worst moderators ever and if you delete your account you need to wait literaly 10 years for be allow to create a new one. You will be banned because you get a fake key and didn't acted. If you will be banned if you get a +18 game and put it in private on steam for not your friends see it. And so much more...
Il get to the point this site does offer a 99 cent game a month if you enter raffles everyday spending hours of time to get the free 99 cent game. Most of the games are taken by mass botting that the site does not detect and does nothing about. this site offers trading full of scammers and low ballers never offering good trades, or scammers, impersonators. Most people who are defending this site is probably high contributors that either have a lot of money and paid to get good benefits or scammed the system in the past to get a high CV level. I would show some sources but I cant sense I cant use URL's here
They've permanently banned me and they claimed that the games someone else won were redeemed to my account even though this isn't the case. Whenever I contact steamgifts they refuse to answer my questions nor will they help me. The reason they banned my account is because I made a private giveaway for a single friend as a joke, it was even for a 1 dollar game which is a few cents on g2a. Making giveaways for one specific person is not against Steam Gifts their rules, but this is why I was banned. Ridiculous.
Mods are just some power-users and some are clearly abusing that power.Getting banned now for just having an opinion, not even being mean. Just banter and oh it's too much, banned. Then getting banned for "implied trading". I'm sorry what? Implying trading, how? I said there was a bundle I wanted 2 games but not the other 4. Hence I am trying to get a trade going?Abuse of power!
I have won 6 giveaways on this site, and have received all of the 6 games that the giveaways' creators had offered. I myself have also given games away through steamgifts. Opportunities for giveaways are plentiful in the forum, and the community there is very nice and helpful in general. You just need to participate a little, but it's no chore :)
Banned me for no reason.. in a random day. No chance given to get my account back, because they think I did a serious bad action. No idea what I did. Some people shouldn't be promoted to moderators... banning a lvl.8 account with so many years in the website, for no reason, is something that is really shocking, and could only let me think that this person had some other reasons (I'm scared to find out which one..) to ban a guy like me who never received any suspension.
"We prevent multiple accounts by preventing you from getting even one account". Dumbest site in existence, apparently it gifts to those who can already buy loads.
SG is a really bad site abusive admins, toxic community that is going to black list u for any small reasons or no reason at all scammers and, botters. so not contributing money to the site will net you about1 $1 game per month entering 1000's of giveaways everyday and wasting tons of time for a $1 game. To get the chance to win a game thats worth while u will need to spend $1000's contributing joining groups that will force u to spend alot more money every month and this is only for a chance at maybe a $10 game. Most of the games will go to Bots and ppl scamming cheating the system especially older members who have cheated the system years ago to have a high contributor lvl. The mods will ban people permenantly for any small reasons or no reason at all in the TOS they put they can ban u for any or no reason at all to avoid lawsuits.

“Does it's job, but not a pleasant stay”
As far as giving away free Steam games goes, this site mostly does its job with a few exceptions. Unfortunately, it's riddled by a community that is becoming increasingly toxic, and also a moderation team that rules with an iron fist, absolutely unwilling to listen to reason or admitting wrong, making it a toxic environment to spend your time in.
“Free steam games, what else do you need in the title?”
This is great community idea that actually works. Basically everyone can organize a simple game giveaway, just in two clicks. And everyone could participate in the giveaway, you don't need to pay anything to anyone. Yeah, chances you get something actually good is low (1/******* to be precise), but there still is the chance. Its simple, free and tech support can help you 24/7. Great opportunity, don't miss it Tip for consumers:Rank up first, to get chance participate in better giveaways! (You can rank up just by organizing a giveaway, you surely have something to spare) Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bad company abusive admins this site is not worth investing into”
This site is a waste of time, full of scmamers, abusive admins where everyone is afraid to state an opinion that challenges there unfair rules/system protected by a TOS so they can do whatever if they want. I been contributing to this site for about 2 years and I have to admit alot of times I felt it was not worth the time spending 100's of hours per month entering giveaways everyday just to earn a $1 game. I thought if I contributed more this would change because the site has a massive bot problems at lower lvl CV. CV lvl 5 and its still pretty much the same thing u can join groups but they force u to spend alot of money to join so whats the point if ur not getting free games still. I lost alot of net worth on this site because my giveaways far outweighed my winnings. 1 day I showed my niece the site to help her get chances at boosting her account with chances at more games. A week later with both got banned for multi accounts anyone who wants proof its not a multi account I cn provide the proof. The admins wont respond or contact after the ban and they protect them self with a TOS that states that they can legally ban u for any or no reason at all. Look around u will see alot of victims being unfairly banned the only ppl protecting this site is the people whos been contributing or has cheated the system in the past to get a high Contribution lvl and they just dont want to lose there investment on steamgifts.
“Dont trust this site and especially dont invest into this site.”
This site may seem good at first and maybe it was good many years ago and thats how it got all of its loyal members. Alot of these members have invested alot into this company already and will protect there investment 100% no matter what the company does. So il get to the point the odds of winning anyhting here is extremly low you are lucky to win a 99 cent game in a month spending 100's of hours every month entering giveaways. Even if you contribute alot intot his site u will still be up against tons of bots and people scamming the system or ppl who has scammed the system int he past to gain high CV. The site is full of impersonators and scammers who will claim they did not get a game key or the game key does not work just to force people to give another key. If you create a giveaway and the winner claism they did not get a key no matter what the contributor is always the blame and if they mark you as unredeemed the whole community will flame and blacklist you. On top of that mods are power abusive and ban Permenantly for little or no reason at all and they will not reply to you or review your case after you are banned. Heres proof that the site allows scamming and does not do anythign about it. I have met many more but this is my most recent one. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
