starofservice.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives starofservice.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to starofservice.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning starofservice.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between starofservice.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of starofservice.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of starofservice.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. starofservice.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether starofservice.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether starofservice.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, starofservice.com.

“Scammers”
I used them a year ago, somehow managed to cancel after 30 questions of bizarre things like screenshotting their website and finding hidden passwords…. But I clicked onto their website and they removed £40.31 immediately, without warning. I emailed to ask them to refund it, no reply for -almost 3 weeks- when I got the banks involved! They said I agreed (when I signed up a year ago) they could change their policy at any point and basically take what ever they like. They've STILL got my bank details and could take more at any point and no one can stop them! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Underhanded company avoid them”
A very underhanded company, they changed their charges, didnt make me aware and I didnt agree to anything about this and their leads are an absolute waste of time avoid like the plague if you dont want to get ripped off Products used:Leads for wedding enquiries Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Scam company!”
I was a pro just for a month last November and yesterday I saw the they charged my card with €60. I sent an e-mail and their answer was thet they had sent me an e-mail that if I didn't click on the link I was agree to be charged for visibility fee. The thing is that all their e-mails are going to spams and I had never get this mail they are talking about! They offer me a month of pro but I don't want anything from these Robbers. I unsubscribed from their platform!
“SCAMMERS!”
Star of service have terrible leads. If you are a small business, do not waste your money with this company. They will also change policy and start charging you annual fees even if you stop using them. They took an annual fee from me as I did not receive an email telling me they were now charging. I DID NOT REALISE THEY HAD ANY ACCESS TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT AS I HAD NOT USED THEM FOR 7 YEARS! When I contacted them to say I do not want to be on their site and want a refund, they flat out refuse. They are rude, scammy and their leads are simply people wanting the cheapest deal they can get. No good for businesses that offer a quality service unless you want to work for nothing. Small businesses should stay away from Star of Service. I would give them '0' stars if there was the option! Tip for consumers:They are dismissive and money grabbers. Their leads are total crap. I used their service for a year in 2016 and found the leads to be terrible. A total waste of money so I did not use them any more. They had kept access to my paypal account it seems so when they decided to start charging to be on their site this year, they just took payment. Apparently they sent out an email which I did not get to say I had to decline if I did not want to be charged. Didn't get the email so they charged me. Products used:I used nothing. I did not want to be listed on their site but they have taken money from my paypal account for an annual listing and now refuse to refund the payment. Service Value Returns Quality
“DO NOT INVEST IN THIS COMPANY!”
Even if you deactivate your account, they will still go into your account and take out money. You need to go to your bank and block them from taking money out of your account. No matter how often you set your location to 50 km for example, they will refer you to jobs that are 2 to 5 hours away that require a distance of 200 to 500 km of travelling I'm writing this review because I noticed today they went in my account and took money out again. The stop payment does not seem to always work so I may be forced to close this account and open another one. It will definitely not see the value for your money. Tip for consumers:Do not spend your money with them!!!!! Products used:Advertising Service Value Shipping Quality
“Charged not nothing”
They introduced a new service out of nowhere and within two days they charged me a fee. They do sent the email but email never stated the date, the email just stated upcoming days. Being unaware of their out of nothing service and which has no value, I feel that it is wrongfully charged. Since I have been charged for the while upcoming year I emailed them I am not using the service and will not use in the future so please refind the charges. They being cold and said we cannot. Garbage service Service Value Returns Quality
“No leads, terrible customer service, long-winded cancellation process. DO NOT SIGN UP!”
No leads generated, terrible customer service, long-winded cancellation process. Overall a shocking experience and would never use again. Do not sign-up, all they do is send you emails every day about how to increase the amount of money you spend with them and they offer nothing in return. I wish I could rate this 0 stars as 1 is more than it deserves!
“Absolute scam, then you can't cancell it. Notice you can't remove VISA information from your accoun”
This is a scam and I thought I knew better than to fall for something like this. The leads are almost all ways outside our service area, and very poorly vetted. Just people surfing the web in the middle of the night i think and probably dooped into clicking some link, not actually serious about a service. Never led to a single job. After multiple attemps to cancell this BS service, THAT STARTED AS FREE, I have not been able to cancell it. Everyone launch a coplaint to VISA, or however they are billing you. Maybe enough complaints will take away thier means to take your $
“Scam site.”
Takes your money, all 'clients' are ghost clients who never respond except to say 'they went with someone else' even though the system says no other professionals contacted them. On the client side, don't waste your time, look for actual businesses near you, not this shady site. Tip for consumers:Don't give them any money. Service Value Returns Quality
“Star of Service is a SCAM”
This company should be ashamed of themselves! They use completely misleading wording in their offers and emails and make it look as though you are signing up to a free trial when in fact they are selling you a completely useless subscription for £500. They pray upon small independent freelancers who are looking for work and offer absolutely no compassionate customer service. I have made it very clear that I was misled by a 'free trial' offer and I'm now struggling to pay my bills as they have taken £500 from me. Do not by any means give this company any of your payment details as they will scam you. Tip for consumers:Avoid using this site at all costs. Service Value Returns Quality
“Sending spam”
This company bombards me with unsolicited emails violating anti-spam act. Multiple requests to unsubscribe are not honoured. If they cannot follow the Law in small things, how can you be sure that they will follow the Lawn big things?
“Scam company”
Website set up to take money from small businesses with little or nothing at all in return. Changed their payments to take money from people signed up for the website without any warning. Asked for a refund as I don't use the site and they refused based on "terms and conditions " avoid this lot, you will get no work and just pay for nothing. Tip for consumers:Avoid it Products used:None just got billed for nothing Service Value Returns Quality
“They steal money from you”
I signed up for individual plan trial from oct 23 2022 - oct 22 2023. Yet they charged my credit card for $139 for another individual plan. This is ridiculous they are scammers. Im going to cancel all their service and contact the bank for refund Tip for consumers:Scam Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Continual Spam with Fake Requests!”
Countless emails saying that they have clients desperate to use my services. Same client seems to have been so desperate that he is still on their books looking for the same service! Looks like fake information trying to get me to sign to a contract and get fleeced by them! Thankfully there are lots of reviews to be found about the company showing exactly that. I would stay well clear! Tip for consumers:Avoid. Any company that ignores privacy laws and spams people is highly unprofessional ! Products used:None Service Value Quality
“Useless and abusive”
I have never gotten one useful lead from Star Of Service. I don't remember ever subscribing to a monthly plan, and the more I look at their tactics, the more I'm convinced it's a fraud. I asked them to cancel, and they sent me to a web site with 30 steps and questions claiming (Bull$#*!) it is to confirm my identity. Then the want my credit card number to charge me $15 to cancel. No Goddamn way I'm giving them my number.! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Scam”
Most of their clients cannot be contacted, 1% answered emails to tell you no, the rest are ghost clients. It's a scam. They took our money in their credit form and turned it to zero when they changed their plat form. We asked for it back they said too bad. We're considering bringing these online platforms to Go Public. So these so called projects website are a bunch of scammers. We tried a few already and none of them had real clients
“Signed up and was billed £90 within minutes for 2 emails”
I signed up but was unaware of a "turbo" button they switched on. I received two emails which were leads both of which are not suitable for me. Then noticed my bank had two bank charges pending a total of £90! I have written to Star of Service to ask they do not process these charges. No reply as of yet
“Useless contractor!”
Having accepted one of their Roofers to do a job I expected some back up when the Roofer left part of the job undone then promised to return but failed to arrive and has since refused to answer my messages left on his phone which goes to answerphone every time I call. The site's advice once the Roofer is contacted is to negotiate the way forward!? Useless, hopeless and hapless. Do not use this service, it stinks. Tip for consumers:Don’t use a Roofer! Products used:Roof repairs Service Value Quality
“Scam for professionals”
Somehow in my account was automatically activated a button -"turbo" -which automatically replayed to messages received on the platform and lead to charges for every message that was sent, eventhough they were not related to subject. The message was generated automatically, saying " Dear customer(name), I am very interested in your project and want to discuss more about it. Can you tell me more about it here on the platform or directly over the phone?". Very nasty message, it's not ok to assume that in my name. When I created the account this button didn't create any problems, but at some point it got activated and they got away with some cash. However this is not well intended, they just do this things to get some money from users. From me they got away with 60$ for 2 messages.
“Avoid at all costs!”
I should have checked the reviews before I subscribed. Useless leads is all you get and wait till you decide to cancel the subscription. They make sure its basically impossible. They make you pay 15 USD for them to review your cancellation request, only to reject the request, and keep charging you every month. I feel like a complete moron. AVOID! ZERO stars! Tip for consumers:SCAM Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Scam”
Dont use this service for your media and for attracting clients. A big scam. Free registration and after they start to take money from your credit card with no approval. 6 months of using this - new clients = 0
“I cant believe this Scam Business is still functioning”
I was only interested in the trial round. And next thing i know, i try to remove my card so i dont get charged and then cancel my account, and to my surprise i couldn't do it on my own, I had to go through a whole process of reaching out via email, filling out 1 of 2 ridiculous "forms of verification" to confirm that Its my profile. Do not use this service. BBB should be involved in the existence of this business. See attached Images below.
“****BEWARE - THIEVING SCAM ARTISTS****”
Do not sign up to any services with these scam artists. I agreed to a Free 1 Week Trial and the same day they took full payment from our account, before the Trial had ended. I cancelled the trial immediately and now they refuse to refund the money. I am taking legal action against this fraudulent company. Tip for consumers:Don't even consider using this site. Products used:None, tried to cancel Free Trial, got charged anyway. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Star Of Service is FAKE”
I couldnt get clients phone number. Messages to clients were never read. I guess all clients are ghosts. Please shut it down. Please do not subscribe to them. Else, you will be the next in writing this review.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
