spygeargadgets.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives spygeargadgets.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 66.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 66.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to spygeargadgets.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning spygeargadgets.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between spygeargadgets.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of spygeargadgets.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of spygeargadgets.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. spygeargadgets.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether spygeargadgets.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether spygeargadgets.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, spygeargadgets.com.

- Score: 2.3 stars
“Can't change the WiFi settings”
Good optics. Good audio. Can't move WiFi from one WiFi to another.
“Voice recorder”
I bought here a audio recorder, to be more precise USB flash drive voice recorder, because I had an affair where I needed this technology :) Well, the price is justified, my usb flash drive voice recorder has a good battery in terms of capacity, battery life is about 25 days + it's cool that you can plug it in, and it will anyway record everything around you. It is an irreplaceable thing for those who need to have evidence in the future.
“Poor Customer Service”
I have called and left messages"VM" as well as 4 emails for setup help for a month now and no replies. "0" stars if possible. I am unable to use my camera with the battery pack I purchased due to not having a close outlet. The camera will not work on just the battery which negates why I paid for the battery. After reading their return policy, now it's been too late while waiting on a response. Shop elsewhere. Also, they do not deliver unless someone can sign M-F 9-5. Most people work and it gets sent back to them and they don't reply to ANY type of communication. I had to fight through PayPal to get my money back the first time to then reorder and sent to my job. And now stuck again. Tip for consumers:They have restocking fee if you can get a hold of someone. Products used:Pin hole camera Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Terrible customer service”
I don't know how this company has such high reviews. I purchased a black box camera and the motion detection didn't work. I returned the camera per customer service instructions 2 days later and it was received by them 4 days later. Since then I have repeatedly emailed them, called and tried to chat for the last 3 months regarding my refund and get no response. Nobody answers the phone, there is no one available to chat no matter the time of day and customer service don't answer my emails. I even sent a message through PayPal and got no response. So now not only did I pay $165 for a camera that didn't work, spy gear has the broken camera back to sell to someone else and steal their money as well. Tip for consumers:They may say they’ll give you a refund within 15 days but they won’t. Products used:Black box camera Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Do not respond, do not honor claim to stand behind products”
Item purchased failed upon initial use. Company has not responded to many emails, "live" texts, and does not return calls (phone always rolls over to voice mail). No attempt to deal with product failure. Service Shipping Returns
“Non-existent customer service”
I've been trying to reach them on a defective brand new device for 2 weeks and I cannot get a hold of them. I've tried calling *******848 and I get a no answer or closed for 4th of July notice even we are in August, no replies via email nor chat. Seems only their sales shipping dept. is running but no customer service personnel at all. Very dissapointed.
“No problems at all with company, product description I may have missed something.”
Company is no issues, I will always go here for this or any other similar products. I have a weather station where the time and temp are constantly wrong one way or the other, and it says it can work on charged battery, but so far if unplugged, dead in an hour. It is fine with me if plugged in, mine is to keep an eye on my mother who has Alzheimer's. Tip for consumers:I am just having issues with the weather station maintaining a charge and due to that, if unplugged the time or temp or both are just wrong until it dies out. Products used:Weather station and Smoke Detector HC374 Service Value Shipping Quality
“Horrible product and customer service”
Ordered a highly reviewed product, and after one (1) day it failed! Sent numerous Emails with no response. Followed that up with two (2) phone calls (and of course no answer) left voice mails... With, you guessed it, no response. DO NOT deal with these frauds. They are quick to take your money, but not so fast to back their products. I only gave 1 star because there was not a ZERO to give!
“Bad company”
I purchase hiding camera and didn't work at all, try to get in touch with customer service, no luck. After three weeks making calls and sending emails finally quit. Do not buy here! I waste my money, bad company and really bad customer service
“Try another spy camera site, anyone else would be better.”
I have never dealt with worse. The camera send was not compatible with my country power plugs. When this was pointed out, they blamed me and pointed me to an obscure pic as proof. When I asked for a refund I got no response to three seperate emails. I finally got one on forth attempt telling me I had four days to ship to the other side of the world or I would miss out. It cost me an additional $80 NZ to get it there on time. The refund I received was less the postage here, return postage and then they took an additional 15% of total item price as well. Shocking customer service, and they ripped me off. I am disgusted. How can they be in business. If I lived in the States, I would be visiting them to have a "friendly" word!
“Not as advertised, ZERO customer service.”
Purchased a camera from them that is far larger and nothing like the photos on the product page. Nothing like it was advertised. I've been trying daily for a week since receiving it to submit a return claim via 7 emails and 6 voice-mail. All to no avail. Very disappointed and out $215.
“They do not refund money”
Product returned. They said I would get refund 7-10 days. Once they received their product back, they stop answering emails. Have sent about 10 emails and many calls, with not luck. They refuse to answer.
“Weather station cam”
So I've had this for a few 2 months now. The sound is not the best and the motion detection is average. Still happy with it until this morning, I got a motion notification from someone else's camera! No idea who but it shows face and they're asleep! I have so many questions about this: how did I get someone else's notification, this person is asleep so was there actually a motion detected? I have pictures of my camera and then this one notification I got from someone else's. This is super creepy Tip for consumers:Has anyone else gotten someone else’s camera feed Value Shipping Quality
“No customer service or support. It is a scam company!”
Ordered a clock camera. Did not receive the clock I ordered. This company hide behind voice mail, chat lines that are never manned and emails that are not answered. Made numerous attempts to contact the company... different dates, times and methods. They advertise 2 years support and warranties which is a lie. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. Quite the opposite... DO NOT ORDER from Spygear Gadgets
“Notify the BBB”
I spent almost $300 on two cameras that dont work because of their server. Numerous emails to Spygeargadgets and phone calls with no reply. There must be more customers with the same problem. Notify the BBB to get your money back
“Won't return phone calls or emails for returned product”
Returned product…they said that they would have to contact the warehouse to see where the return was and I would receive a refund. Still no refund it's been over a year I've been trying to get this product refunded. No one answers the phone no one returns emails. I am filing a small claims. I have the tracking number and it said it was signed for at their warehouse but yet still have not received a refund very frustrating Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Helpful recommendation”
Spygear is a bad app, it's a dubious company.! They will just take your money from you... I had to go with reviews and recommendations I got from my friends around about Ethicspy firm so I contacted them and told them what I really wanted from my Spouse phone like messages and all so now I see all what is going on his device so best believed to him I don't know about anything, but thanks to this firm for the help rendered. I see his messages, calls he take, her location e. T. c I'll speak well of them... ETHICSPY.COM
“Fantastic customer service”
Order clock, it was back ordered so calling customer service they informed me the updated clock was in stock and they could ship it overnight with no additional cost to me for the updated clock or shipping. This is exactly how a company should handle it. Clock came fast, easy and quick to setup.
“Poor customer relations. At first but fixed the issue.”
I sent an email asking for a refund on a belt that did not fit correctly and they proceeded to say all belts fit correctly and that I wasn't getting a refund submitted pictures of this said belt but nothing they just commented that they've had no bad reviews and no complaints about their products and I'm not getting a refund. Attached is a picture of this said belt not fitting and my current belt fitting correctly. After careful review of my pictures the company has agreed to refund and stated it must be a new design and they are looking into the issue. Tip for consumers:Look at my pictures, there is a little hook you would use & it sticks out so the buckle does not sit securely around your waist. Company has agreed to look into the situation as to why the belt is not fitting securely. Products used:Belt with knife Service Quality
“Phone hacker”
Tried to use different spy apps but they always are complex to use and they just hang or crash midway. I saw posts about Dualspy57@ gmail and I got talking with him. He absolutely did a good job and I'm really grateful to him. I'm in his debt
“Good”
Good product. The app however need to be updated so that I can access the camera and audio on my apple phone
“Like your site, good information on products”
Like your site, good information on products. Need to add sensitivity information about cameras - at what distance are cameras activated by motion? Up to how many feet? Instructions that came with it were outdated. After repeated attempts to get the camera working, I found a manual within the app that had correct instructions. I have not been able to make the 'pan' functions work; and instead of taking video I'm only getting snapshots (working in motion detection mode). This is my first 'spy' camera with app, so may be a learning curve, but I have found this to be a tedious setup.
“I paid for 2 day delivery but did not receive it in...”
I paid for 2 day delivery but did not receive it in that time period, partly due to FedEx delivery schedule. I am having some difficulty with the device as it is not recording continuously - is there something I need to do for this to happen? One day I had multiple videos, but yesterday, in a 24 hr time period, only had 2 - 1 was about 7 seconds long. Please advise so that I can make full use of it. The blue light does blink 3 times and go out, but I am not getting the recordings. Thank You
“I left a message with customer service 2 days ago and...”
I left a message with customer service 2 days ago and no one has returned my call. I was charged a COD of ANOTHER $43 in addition to the $29 already charged me for shipping. This was not mentioned during my shopping experience and was not on my invoice! I shop on line fairly frequently and this has never happened to me before. Not only did I have to pay this extra cost, I had to make arrangements after the first delivery attempt to be home for the COD. This also was never communicated to me. With shipping, USD exchange, a memory card (item has limited capacity without it) and now this cost I have paid over $200 for something that is likely worth $25. Terrible practice to not disclose this to customers... because of this I will not shop here again and would definitely not recommend to anyone.
“Found this product at Walmart.com but you had more...”
Found this product at Walmart.com but you had more detail and a better price. After receiving the camera, I charged it for eight hours and the red light even after 12 hours still didn't go out. I tested the product the next day for 8 hours. I put it on the charger overnight an finally the red light did go out after charging. Works great but not to well in low lighting. Even with radar set to lowest setting just a change in the brightness of the sun in the room makes it record. Still good product for price and I'm happy.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
