Is springlegalgroup.com Legit?

Scam! We made payments ontime monthly for 3 1/2 years. Our debt has not had 1 single payment made. We paid them $27,000 and the fees are outrageous. The debt was $21,00 they settled to pay $9,000 to the creditor. And they still want more money for another 6 months We are cancelling and paying the vendor ourselves!

Would be zero if allowed. Stay away total scam artists. Paid 42k they took 18k in fees. Now saying I need to extend the program another 2 yrs plus. I’ve put in complaints with my State Atty General as well as the Feds. Looking for a lawyer now. Meanwhile I have accounts in litigation and Spring Legal says they can’t negotiate with my creditors due to them being in litigation. If Spring Legal did as promised then the accounts wouldn’t be in litigation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. TOTAL SCAMMERS.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW.Spring Legal are part of a multi state, State-attorney complaint. They are not able to practice.If you have a debt in payment, it will continue to be paid via Global providing you still have the bank draft in force. NOTE Global is not affected and separate company.If you dont have any debts in payment via global, you can remove your money from Global with no issue. i done this in the last month.

I have been trying to build my credit back up in the last two years so I could get a loan. My credit score is 652 and the issues that Spring Legal was supposed to fix will be on my credit report for 7 years. It will be almost impossible for me to do anything for the next 5 years.

I wish I looked here before I started with them eight months ago. After making 7 payments of $1190 my savings/escrow had only $1200. They charged service fees over 700 every month retention fees about 200 and another fee that i dont recall. Out of 1190 payment my savings was getting little over $100. Won't refund anything. Just stole over $7000.

When I was contacted by Spring Legal Group, I was told don't worry we will negotiate reduction and elimination of my debts. Due to Covid, we lost almost 90% of our income. 1 year later only two accounts have been settled and I was just served and being sued by the Bank that prior to working with Spring Legal Group was in good standing. I do NOT suggest anyone deal with this company for debt settlement

Slick presentations, very professional INITIAL communication, and after onboarding, minimal-to-no communication. In two years my credit is destroyed and only two settlements out of five were accomplished. Then one of the two then had to be renegotiated bc of THEIR failure to pay. I had to call myself and grill them for answers. In the meantime, they charge you 20% per month of your total enrolled debt on top of 3-4 other monthly fees, regardless of what work they have or have not done. Zero incentive for their negotiators to work with integrity on your behalf. That 20% could've paid off 2-3 of my debts fully. I wish their had been more reviews two years ago. I hope this helps someone else. Call your credit is directly and negotiate with them yourself.

The approach was very personal, affirmative and supportive. The sales person was superb. Now that I am well into my 4th month, I have yet to see any attempt by SLG to connect with my creditors to "head them off at the pass". It may have happened but I have yet to be notified of such action or presented a copy of any contact.

Cancelled this scam service in December. Was promised my escrow account money back and that my bank account withdrawals would Stop. Never received my escrow funds (which per the agreement I signed I should be entitled to) and NOW this scam company takes withdrawals from my bank every other month instead of monthly (seems to hope I won’t notice they’re still stealing from me)!!!

They let 2 to of my accounts go into litigation and then let them go to Default Judgment. Then, they told me they have no legal obligation to defend the lawsuits and I had to come up with 80% of what is currently owed, which is more than I initially owed, before late fees and interest, to get me out of default judgment. If I had $13,000 I would not have needed their program. Their lack of communication and helpfulness is astounding given their sales pitch for the program. Needless to say they made my situation significantly worse.

I started with spring Legal Group last October 2021, after 10 months and withdrawing from my bank account more than $ 27,000, only one account has been settled for 2% in total only 9% of the total balance has been resolved.The last account settled was more than 2 months ago, I made the monthly payment on time, but did receive the promised services.I would like to cancel this service to stop the frustration

Not worth the time or money. I gave two stars rather than one because there were a few settlements agreed to although nothing was paid off. I knew going in that there would be front loaded fees and that they would be large fees but I wound up paying more to Spring Legal than I was paying to service my debt. I have been trying for six weeks to cancel the program and while the person on the phones says it is cancelled there is no reflection of the cancellation, no refund, and they have not stopped trying to draft my account for the program.Maybe they don't know what the term please cancel my program means. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

DONT WALK, RUN!!! As fast as you can from these crooks. They advertise helping settle all of your debts for a portion of the savings and a 75$ admin fee. For 13 months I've paid 900$ per and had 600 go to one creditor. These people need to be prosecuted. Please contact me with any onsite you may have into bankrupting and eliminating these crooks.

Worse, untrustworthy, untransparent "Debt Consolidating" service ever.. No real representation, no call backs, despite the promise to do so. The Portal is a joke and provides NO REAL relevant information. No real "Lawyer" other than the reference of a lawyer that clearly isn't involve with any "Settlement" effort or negotiation.How is it that "Spring Illegal" advertises to consolidate ones debt when they first line their pockets with our fees? I am sure there is a "Law" that requires that a service be rendered before legally collecting a fee. A complaint has been filed with the federal trade commission as to Spring legal practices that are simply increasing the debt and obligation to those they claim to help . STAY AWAY! KEEP YOUR MONEY...WORK IT OUT DIRECT WITH YOUR CREDITORS OR COLLECTING AGENCY. SPRING LEGAL IS A SCAM

I would rate at a big fat zero, these are scam artists, all the negative reviews are true. We are being robbed. Get out!!! Block them at your bank. Try and get your escrow from Global. I was told today that Spring Legal is temporarily shut down due to a complaint. I bet someday there will be a civil lawsuit. They are robbing us. I too have one of my accounts entrusted to be negotiated and it is in litigation. I can't get anyone at Spring Legal, no help at all. They need to burn in Hell.Sandy Kimple

I paid them about $20000, stole at least half of this sum! Promised to settle the litigation with Wells Fargo Bank, did nothing!Phone does not answer, website doers not work!Stop paying them until it is not too late!

I wrote a review on 12/12/2021. I still have not received a refund of my money that was held in an account to be used for settling my debt. I have received “check is in the mail” and “automatic deposit has been arranged” promises. I disenrolled on 11/16. My debt was settled by my financial adviser within 2-3 weeks. Nothing got accomplished in the twelve months that I was enrolled. I just want my money back. I don’t know what my “fees” were used for, but the $5000 wasn’t used for representation or communication.

When I was at Spring Legal, I always felt that my voice was being heard and my concerns were taken seriously. They are not only knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, but also very good at what they do.

i think this group preys on people who are experiencing some sort of financial crisis in their lives, are desperate, and just looking for someone to help them. I am one of them. I am elderly, was in a lot of pain, experience financial problems, and Spring came along and offered to make things manageable, 30 months and $21,000.00 later, I have been sued 3 times by the companies that Spring was supposed to negotiate with, and didn't, which resulted in my owing more than when I entered into contract with Spring, and only $5,000.00 has been applied towards my debt....two companies havn't even been conacted yet and I am told that they are working on it. Right. I am going to file a complaint with the State of Ohio, and seek judicial help because I feel they took advantage of me when I was in condition to expedite such a contract which has not lived up to the promises I was made

In July I signed up with Spring Legal Group to pay off debt and have found that after deductions 2x per month I have a total of $24 in my account. This is due to Spring Legal Group paying themselves first even though they assured me they could not be paid until they had saved me money on my debt. It is also important to note that I was not provided a copy of my signed contract until 10/6. No one from the escalation team would speak with me. I am furious.
