sportsmemorabilia.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives sportsmemorabilia.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sportsmemorabilia.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning sportsmemorabilia.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sportsmemorabilia.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sportsmemorabilia.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sportsmemorabilia.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sportsmemorabilia.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether sportsmemorabilia.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether sportsmemorabilia.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, sportsmemorabilia.com.

“Buyer Beware”

I placed an order for one item. They sent me three. I called them immediately. They strung me along for two weeks then told me they wouldn't do a return. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone Products used:Hat Service Returns

“Cristin was great!”

I have purchased before from Sportsmemorabilia and never had any issues. This is my first experience with an issue and Cristin was great! She resolved it quickly and responded quickly! Thanks Cristin. Service Value Shipping Quality

“Lilly”

Although Sports Memorabilia had issues fulfilling my order which caused a long delay with these items being shipped, Lilly from customer service went above and beyond in making sure that this did not slip through the cracks. Lilly provided outstanding customer service in providing timely assistance. Products used:Baseballs and display case Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Finally!”

I had some problems in the past getting a specific employee to assist me with repeated requests. Finally, Shelby completed my request in a very professional and speedy manner. Although I don't know her personally, she is definitely an asset to your company!

“Nick Sabatino”

There was more than one issue with my purchase through Sports Memorabilia unfortunately, however having Nick on my side to help work everything out and fix the issues was not only a blessing, but also a pleasure. He did his best to make sure that my issues were rectified as quickly and painlessly as possible, and was also nothing short of a pleasure to work with. In my humble opinion, you did yourself a major favor having him as an employee.

“She is the best”

L know good customer service but rarely get it, she is articulate, professional, follows up on details and does not hesitate to go many extra miles Merry Christie girl, and hope there is a promotion and great bonus in the new year

“Integrity”

I'd ordered two autographed photos and there was an issue about A discount. Shelby listened patiently, kept in touch electronically, and Resolved the matter to my satisfaction. Great customer skills. JR Hendrickson

“Customer Service with Linda Blake”

Linda Blake thank you for your excellent customer service! Not only did you answer my questions in a timely manner via phone call, you backed it up with an email. I would use Sportsmemorabilia again and highly recommend them.

“Customer service”

Awesome customer service by Shelby Coyle! She answered my questions quickly and helped me resolve a minor issue without difficulty! I have rarely received this type of service with any online agent! Thanks Shelby

“Happy Customer”

Great buying experience from start to finish. Customer service was very professional and informative regarding shipment and delivery. Also followed up with satisfaction of purchased memorabilia. Will definitely purchase again in the future.

“Excellent service”

Lauren and George are terrific! George helped me find just the right gift for my son and Lauren provided superior customer service taking care of shipping, etc. I will definitely buy from then again. They made a great team!

“Fantastic Service from Staff”

I had an extremely positive shopping experience which was made that extra bit more stress free by Sophie Brown who bent over backwards to ensure that a close friend got his Xmas present and was spared being given a lump of coal! Thank you Sophie. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Awful website - scam artists”

Rep Zach Berman is a joke who only contacts you if you are buying something. Don't receive an item you paid for in 4 months? No reply. Ordered an item that didn't even exist, signed helmet. The signing scheduled 6 weeks after my Purchase. I called in to inquire and assured I would get the product by end of April. By end of May, nothing, tracking still in processing, no responses to my email. Take my advice, pretend you want to buy something really expensive if you have a question about your order - they will answer super quick! That's how I finally got my refund. No regrets other than choosing this site in the first place. Overpriced, awful customer service, selling things they don't even have. Products used:Aaron Donald signed helmet Doesn’t even exist He never signed them! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Scam”

Harassed me for personal information and accused me of stealing from them when FedEx admits they accidentally delivered to the wrong address. Horrible company. Refused to refund even though I know they're getting insurance payment for their product that was lost. Do not buy from them. A simple Google search shows a history of fraudulent products too.

“1.5 months to get to the right person!”

After several attempts to locate 3 items on an order that were never received 1.5 weeks in, on my third email to sports memorabilia I received an email from Alexis Mariner. Thankfully! Within days she had rectified the situation and I received the items in time for Christmas. Just a thought, but you may want to have her train ALL your customer service staff. Having been a manager in CS for 20 years she impressed me not only with her communication, but with her quick handling of the situation, making it right and her follow up after the fact! It is only because of her, that I will use your company again.

“POTENTIAL CLIENTS READ”

Horrible company and customer service. I've tried placing an order twice and every time they automatically cancel my order and ban my account, it makes no sense. They keep telling me to check my information but EVERYTHING is correct from the name to the billing phone number, it's spelled exactly how it is with my bank and still they will not fix this issue, it's an absolute disappointment, I've taken my business elsewhere. This has also happened to several of my friends who tried to purchase autographed jerseys. Save yourself time and the hassle and go elsewhere that's not a fanatics.com/sportsmemorabilia/nbastore company. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Bad experience”

Had a bad experience with them. Order a helmet for christmas present end Nov and site said "in stock". Never arrived and they hardly respond to emails with no phone number. I ordered a different helmet and it came quickly but not the one my son wanted. They provided RA and label so I shipped it back. After MULTIPLE email exchanges I finally received the helmet ordered end Nov on Feb 10th. However, they apologized that the returned helmet was received but not processed. After a month of them holding both my funds and helmet, I insisted on a refund, after a week of no response I had to initiate a dispute with CC company, still outstanding. They blame christmas and superbowl orders for delays but this is not good customer support nor business practice! Tip for consumers:they respond slowly and do not process returns quickly Products used:sports memorabilia Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Hat quality is terrible.”

For a company that sells a lot of hats, they sure don't know how to store and package them properly. When I go to a store to buy a hat, I expect there to not be a single crease in it, and the material to be of somewhat high enough quality where the hat does not collapse into a deformed turd when I take it off. Hats should be able to hold their true form. Even when I put it on, it looks like its been tossed into a lake and dried in the sun. Terrible quality. I waited two weeks for this. This is why I don't online shop for hats, and neither should anyone else. Hats should be sold in stores only. Tip for consumers:Don't buy hats online. Products used:Hats Value Shipping Quality

“Invalid hologram”

I received my item and immediately followed the authentication instructions. My hologram came back invalid. I contacted Seller by phone and immediately responded to their email with pics as instructed. Radio silence since and no response to my issue. Authentication is critical with collectibles and trust is broken when in question. Tip for consumers:Hologram was invalid and seller is not responding Products used:autographed football Service Value Shipping Quality

“Deceptive and lack customer service”

I ordered memorabilia on December 6th (this is December 17th for reference) and get a different answer every time I call to check on the status. Finally just received confirmation that my item is 'sold out' - thus I will not be received it, however, they have already charged my account. Anytime I call, it feels like it's 3 guys in a garage answering the call versus a business that is properly stood up with a customer service team to help. I would absolutely NOT recommend purchasing from Sports Memorabilia, in particular when what they are selling is not inexpensive! * SportsMemorabilia.com attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

“Absolutely stupid high prices”

I didn't make any purchases on this website, but it was high on the list on google (which you can totally pay for) as I was trying to put see how much my signed Allen jersey might be worth. The prices looked... absolutely stupid high. Then I saw this card being offered for like $120. A 2021 panini Optic Josh Allen card PSA 9! So I looked at Ebay and found people had bought the same card for less then 5 bucks. Absolutely rediculous. Personally, I just seeing that I would NEVER purchase anything from this site. I feel bad for all the unsuspecting people that were just trying to get their loved ones or friends a nice gift that got bamboozled. Tip for consumers:Don't get bamboozled. Products used:Sports cards Value

“Lies,,”

Purchased merchandise and was told they offer express delivery in 2 days, I'm receiving it in 7 days wtf! My receipt states I paid for 2 day express delivery. Needed it by the 4th day for a birthday surprise thanks for ruining it. Beware, you've been warned you should read the Facebook reviews good luck Tip for consumers:Try another place Products used:Nothing Service Value Shipping

“WARNING Do not purchase anything from this company.”

This company is responsible for ruining a 9 year old's Christmas by not delivering a product as promised. Turns out that the company never had the item "in stock" but sold it to me anyway. This company is a complete disaster. Stay away. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Terrible experience and customer service”

Terrible experience through their Steiner subsidiary. Bought a card on 12/5. Money was taken, confirmation email was sent. 12/6 I get An email saying they sold me a card that was out of stock and to call a number and they will help me secure the card elsewhere. That was a useless 20 second call that they basically blew me off and said there is nothing I can do. I bought many cards from eBay and other websites and never was sold a card that was out of stock. Terrible service and very disappointed and they could care less it happened. Jim Walsh Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Better late than never”

Had placed an order on October 2017 that I never received but was billed for. I contacted customer service an in two different occasions was given the run around. Not until I had messaged them on facebook did I talked to a very professional and essential person in the company. Ingrid Pardon went above and beyond to make the situation right. I'm happy with the product and glad spoke to Ingrid to get it fix. If you ever have any issues with an order just tell them to connect you with her it will save you month of headaches. If it wasn't for her helping me out with the order I would have given the company a 1 star rating. Ingrid bumped it up to a 3, she deserves a raise.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
