sportingsmiles.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives sportingsmiles.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 16.3. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 16.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sportingsmiles.com's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning sportingsmiles.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sportingsmiles.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sportingsmiles.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sportingsmiles.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sportingsmiles.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether sportingsmiles.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether sportingsmiles.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check

I’ve been working with Sporting Smiles for almost four years now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! Their customer service is exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure I have a positive experience. They’re always quick to respond to any inquiries, which is especially helpful when I need assistance.
I can’t recommend SportingSmiles enough! From the moment I placed my order to the time I received my product, everything went smoothly. The impression kit was easy to use, and the instructions were crystal clear. I was a bit nervous about getting a night guard online, but SportingSmiles delivered a perfect fit! It’s incredibly comfortable, and the quality is as good as—if not better than—what I used to get from my dentist for a fraction of the price. Amazing value!
The value SportingSmiles offers is unbeatable. I purchased teeth whitening trays, and not only did they fit great, but I also noticed results within days. I’m super happy with the service and price!
I was impressed by how fast I received my night guard. The process was easy, and the instructions for making the impression were clear. SportingSmiles delivered on both quality and speed.
SportingSmiles has been making my retainers for the last 3 years. I orders back in 2020 had to take an impression and then got my retainers. The first was just as good as the ones I got after my aligners. I like to have a fresh set of retainers every year so I keep reordering. SportingSmiels now has my impression scanned in so I never have to take the impression over. The customer service and quality has been great. I recommend them to anyone looking to easily get retainers.
I ordered a replacement retainer from SportingSmiles, and I’m thrilled with the quality! It fits perfectly, and the price was way better than what my dentist quoted me. Highly recommend for anyone needing affordable, quality retainers.
This is a very complicated product. First lot was faulty, they decided to never send the replacement. They did not respond in time to get the money back guarantee. Bad product and bad service, would not recommend
I was worried about ordering a retainer online, but SportingSmiles did a fantastic job. The instructions were easy to follow, and the retainer fits better than the one I got from my orthodontist. Highly recommend!
Customer service is the absolute worst. They messed up my retainer twice and are making ME pay for the replacement tray. UnrealUpdate: These are some of the most dishonest people I’ve ever dealt with.It took months to get warranty coverage applied and it was only applied after I left negative feedback regarding their treatment of my issue. They sent the wrong size retainer (children’s) and blamed me for user error. After months of back and forth they finally sent the new kit but when I returned them they told me it was outside the 90 day warranty.Criminally misleading, avoid at all costs
I have been ordering my retainers from sportingsmiles for a while. I keep losing them and it's awesome that they keep my impression on file and I can just reorder at any time.
We paid for retainers. The kit arrived and we made impressions, took pictures and received verification that everything was okay as far as they could tell in the pictures. This happened several times and several impression kits. We finally gave up. They offered to send us another impression kit or refund our money minus $15 for the impression kits. We opted for the refund and it was processed promptly.
Final products are good but getting there takes quite some time. The whole process of getting the retainers took about 2 months due to issues with the first pair not fitting. Shipping and production of retainers should be faster.Customer service was very helpful and gave constant updates.
SportingSmiles has been my go to place for replacement retainers since 3+ years ago. Their service is always prompt and their price can't really be beat when you consider they also produce a quality product. I've since had my imprint on file with them and will continue to purchase from them for all my retainer needs.
I love using sporting smiles for my retainer needs! They definitely have a customer for life! They are affordable, easy to use, and even more amazing now my impressions are saved in their data base which makes reordering a breeze! I love ordering from them. I always get the premium retainers and buy a few to have at my parents’ house, boyfriend’s house, etc. as back ups. Super useful!
The dog chewed up my son's retainer and rather than paying the orthodontist $500 for a new set we searched online for a budget friendly alternative. Sporting Smiles seemed like it had great reviews and when I called with some questions a live person answered the phone and handled my questions with professional kindness, I decided to go with them. Very happy we did. It took a few weeks and a few more phone calls but we got it done. Definitely order the additional putty. Felt like I was kept informed throughout the whole process. Great company
They take a long time to process your moulds to make them into retainers. My impressions were rejected 3 times, then I called them because I was biting into the moulds via the instructions properly and had them approved. Probably a money steal for them. My upper retainer broke and it hasn't even been a full year, cheap material. They wouldn't offer a replacement and wanted me to pay $45 for another set when it's their quality issue.
I'm writing the review I wish I found when I was researching retainers. I placed my order on August 6th 2024, and received my final product September 3rd 2024. It took me 3 tries with the putty to get approved impressions. I ordered some extra putty and trays with my first order, and was sent two new sets of putty for free to retry my impressions. The customer service rep Jessica was super helpful and kind throughout the entire process, both over the phone and email. The impressions process was tedious. I found that it worked better to have a second person present to act as a timer when mixing the putty and putting it into the tray. I also recommend having a mirror nearby to look at when you place the tray in. I watched the videos available on the website, refrigerated the putty when I got it to keep it from setting so fast, and marked where my teeth would go after sizing the tray. Even with all that, it took me three attempts to get a usable impression. If this is not something you want to risk, go with a non-DIY retainer. Human error makes it difficult to do on yourself, especially if you can't see into your mouth like a dentist would. I've been using my new retainers (top and bottom Essix plus retainers), and they were a good fit. A bit tight initially, but I think that's how they're supposed to be to hold them in place. There appears to be a bit of excess material on the front of the bottom tray, but it doesn't cause any issues so I left it alone. I have been wearing them for almost a month now and have had no issues. Overall, they're a good company if you're looking for a reasonable cost/decent value for the price. I broke my old retainers about 4 years ago. I noticed my teeth had shifted somewhat noticeably over the past summer, but because I could not afford orthodontics at the moment, I opted to go with this company on my friend's recommendation to prevent my teeth shifting further. I wasn't as concerned about a faster turn around, since my teeth have already been without retainers for a while, so it worked for me. If you're needing retainers immediately I recommend going with a dentist or orthodontist where they can fabricate the retainers in house. TLDR; it is more tedious and takes longer than going to an orthodontist/dentist, but it is much cheaper. If you're good with spending less money to wait longer and do the impressions yourself, its a good option. Just keep in mind that you will likely have to redo the impressions (unless you order a lot of extra putty).
I value the sense of urgency when it comes to response time. I’ve reached out and they’ve reached out to me all in a timely manner. Of course there’s a little anxiety when purchasing something like this online, my retainer was loose and fit like a night guard. I let the company know and they’ve updated my order accordingly so I am grateful and anticipating wearing my new retainer.
Though the Essex trays they send you look the same as the ones you get from your dental office, they definitely do not hold up over time! Both sets of trays I got from my dental office lasted for years and are still usable. The two sets I got from this company are both trash after one year. If you have any sort of problem that requires you to contact customer service, you'll be greatly disappointed! They don't care and don't even bother to apologize!
I have ordered from sporting smiles a few times, and every experience has been great! My retainers have held up wonderfully, and my guards have done great for night time. The ordering process and doing your own impressions are so easy. I’ll order from here instead of the dentist every single time! I end up paying less for more products, and they are worth every single penny.

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
