Horrible rude customer service there giving me the run around I haven’t received my merchandise and there not even showing any concern that I haven’t! I will never shop here again! Don’t waste yall time with this company! You will lose your money and get treated like trash!!!
I just bought a case from Speck Products. I love it. It's perfect. It was easy to order. I highly recommend this company!
Complete worst company to try to deal with. Refused my warranty claim on a 90 day old case and told me sorry we don’t cover the buttons not working any longer. For some reason the buttons are very hard to press and do not operate as they should. “ Buttons being hard for you to press is unfortunately not a Defect or Damage to be covered under Warranty for replacement. Malfunction of the item does apply for the warranty.As for now this claim had been denied.”
I submitted a warranty claim as I purchased a case from AT&T and it arrived warped . AT&T refused to accept the return so I tried to get it replaced via specks warranty. They asked for my information and everything….then turn around and say to talk to AT&T instead. I’ve dealt with both tech21 and otterbox’s warranty service and it was no where near this difficult. UPDATE: So speck got back to me, asked for the invoice copy, and shipping address (again), and approved my warranty, I was able to get my replacement case a couple days later.
Bought an expensive laptop cover (blue plastic clip on) for my MacBook Air at Virgin. It looked very pretty but did not do the basic job. Cracked at all four corners within 12 months of purchase. Now seriously falling apart. An inferior junky product. Speck refused to replace as I asked for a replacement in month 18 after purchase. I recommend you look elsewhere for a quality product.
iPhone 15 pro slipped off a bathroom vanity countertop (less than 3’) and hit the floor, top edge of the phone. Hairline chipped glass across the top of the screen 3/4” long from the corner. Worst phone protector I’ve ever owned and will never buy this brand again.
I placed an order relatively early on a Thursday, and paid the $20 fee for overnight delivery. I was provided a UPS tracking number. Unfortunately UPS never heard of that tracking number. The reason? I missed some unstated overnight deadline, and since overnight for Speck does not include the weekend, I am supposed to be getting my overnight package today, 3 days later. If Speck has an overnight cutoff time they need to (1) let the customer know that and (2) not take the customer's money. Speck refuses to refund the overnight fee.
I received a defective case, but figured I paid for a premium product, so Speck would make it right. But, when I contacted Speck the only option I was given was that I pay to return the case and then they could decide whether to issue a refund.It has been a long time since I have had such a disappointing customer service experience.
I requested a warranty replacement after only 5 months. The case is stained usually the other cases I had I was able to clean them, but for some reason this one I'm not able to clean it. They do not want to replace it after I send them pictures. Definity I will not be using any more speck products. The customer services and warranty is not good. they should back up there product.

The products are good, but their customer service and policies: not so much. I ordered a phone case during a sale, but hadn’t realized I accidentally ordered my phone’s “max” size of the case, when I have a smaller phone. By the time I received the case around a week later, the sale had ended. I reached out to customer service to ask if I could arrange an exchange to get the smaller case at the sale price (both cases cost & were on sale for the same price), but was told the only option I had was to pay for the return and buy the smaller case at the full price. Next time I’ll just order the case from Amazon.
Dishonest marketing. They offer a $20 overnight shipping, but then they ship out 4 days later. Very Very Very Very dishonest company. I will never ever do business with them again!
Simply terrible service in this company. I ordered a phone case and when it was delivered to me, I didn’t really like the color in real life, it looked different in the photo, but the biggest minus is that this case is made of some kind of plastic that slips, it doesn’t hold comfortably in your hands and slides off, and if you put it on any surface, it rolls off and falls very easily because of the slippery material of this case. I immediately decided to return the goods on the same day as I received the case, calling the customer service, they told me that they would send a return label, and they didn’t send anything, I received an email saying: “I am sorry we don't have return labels.Kind regards The Speck team”. Then I called the customer service again and asked how I could return the case if they don’t provide a return label, to which he said just go to the post office and send it, but they didn’t say where to send it to, or to what address, or under what conditions. I’m shocked, to put it mildly, by this company and by the way they treat their customers, terrible service and a very unprofessional approach to work and people.Order number #177446
Update: To their credit. SPECK have issued a new case and apologised. This is now what one would expect from customer service.Cases break within a year. First claim not processed so bought a second this lasted less then a year. Two cases down. Warranty sent out wrong case. Stay away!!
I called them to ask about the warranty procedure. I was told that they would replace the case if you had the receipt. If you do not have it, they offer a one-time courtesy 'replacement'. (or so I thought) After giving that first rep all of my info, they said they were shipping one out ASAP. I thought this was fantastic! A few weeks later my case arrived! It was the wrong case. I had the Pro Presidio Folio, a $90 case, I received a much cheaper version. I received that other model (balance folio). I called them about 5 different times & got the same answer "Since this is a one-time courtesy, you get what you get." This is BS. I lost $90 because they won't take back the wrong case & send me the correct one. The way the reps talk to you, you think you were tasking their money!?! Terrible attitudes, all around terrible service. I'm going somewhere else. SPECK IS BS. GO ELSEWHERE!!
Poor Customer ServiceI received a wrong case, when I contacted Speck the only option I was given was that I pay to return the case and then they could decide whether to issue a refund.very disappointing customer service experience.
They really deserve 0 star. Bought the IPhone 14 Pro Max Phone cases couple of months ago. It is JUNK!!!!! Phone case is filthy and nothing works to clean it. Speck won’t stand by the product (they said it’s not covered by the warranty). I will no longer buy any product from them. Very dissatisfied, now I have to buy another brand.
Meh. I had very few choices for iPhone cases at the store. This clear case looks sturdy but came with two visible scratches on the plastic straight out of the box. Also seems overpriced compared to competition.

“Poor customer service, defective iPad case”

Purchased a Speck case for an iPad. The one I received made the buttons on my decide impossible to use, so I contacted customer service. They said that all of their cases are "tested by a lab" before being sent out. Really? If so, it must be a Labrador retriever. The case also had horribly sharp edges that could slice skin. The response from customer service, when I complained about this, was, "Our cases are designed that way." Again, really? I ended up returning the case, using a prepaid label they provided. But the refund has been slow in coming. I won't be shopping here again.

“Cancellation policy BITES!”

You cannot cancel an order once it is placed. EVEN if it hasn't been processed or shipped. I paid for two day shipping on a Friday. They didn't process the order until Monday and when I called I got an automated voice that once placed an order can't be canceled or modified. BOOOOOO! I have no complaints about the case-- when it shows up----?. I sent an email inquiring about my product that states 2-5 day shipping. I heard nothing. I called and when inquiring about my product, the tone was not friendly by accusing me that I ordered it on a weekend and "we don't WORK on weekends". Umm... ok but maybe she was having a bad day but it gets better. I usually get a tracking number sent to me so considering that I have purchased several cases and I stated such that so could I have one? She said that I will give it too you but she spoke really fast and it is really long so I could not catch it. I asked to have it sent to me since it seemed she would not tell me again. Also, I asked why is taking so long when its not been my experience for the past few years---I heard her say twice" it is in the mail and not sure why I am calling". I have waited now some days after that and I guess I was not supposed to comment but the tone I heard on the other end.: P I asked could I get an email for the tracking because I didn't get it and I heard a sigh which maybe she doesn't work on Tuesdays either (hahaha) and she said it will take her a few minutes but she will send it. Btw, I still am waiting for that email. None given. Oh well. Regardless, customer service seems to be less and less and I like the cases but if I am given an attitude just because I would like to know when my case is coming after 2 weeks of not responding to asking, I think it is not asking too much for a case that is pretty expensive. :) Next time, I guess I won't bother with Speck. :) Customer service is about asking questions and can be done just by answering them with a smile. UPDATE: I did get me case and a few days later - a very nice email with a tracking number that did not start with the few numbers I got from the first lady. It was from a gentleman this time. Not sure what that was about but it seems that covid has a lot of people working from home and it seems we get more than we bargain for now. :) Tip for consumers:Don't call but email because seems like customer service is more friendly.
