In February they implemented the verification process for all our clients, requesting them ID card and Live Photo that we do not even know where it endup ...(Hope RGPD won't come ask us nothing, as we do not know nothing about what is done from all this personal datas from our clients...)...Finally, after removed our catalog in our back since months, without any notification or explanation, they recently started to take our users' money for them.... SonoSuite holds the funds from the tenant while the above amount has been fully calculated and has been sent reports to the tenant who is my company. If you live in the country where SonoSuite is based then give it a try (but I wouldn't recommend it either because there are thousands of companies that distribute better than SonoSuite), but if you're outside of that country, don't give it a try. I've been working with SonoSuite for almost a year. I never had problems with them; they always sent the money. The only thing that could be improved is the waiting time for a response and the capabilities of the platform. There are some features that could come in handy for big labels and would be great to have on their services, but for starting artists and distributors, this is the best service you can get on the market.
This company needs to disappear. I have been working as a music distributor with SonoSuite for more than a year now, and between the payment delays in royalties, them removing basic features from your plan, and the fact that if you want these features back you need to pay 100€ every month or upgrade your plan.But they have gone too far when they implemented the 10€ fee per track when it's marked as fraudulent by Spotify. They are in charge of the QC, they approve the tracks, and don't take them down or just send us an email to inform us that this user is doing fraudulent activity on Spotify, and then they charge you after it.My distribution service now has to pay around €1,000 this month for tracks that SonoSuite's QC approved and didn't inform me were shady.They are professional thieves. If you want to open your music distribution company, go with Revelator, Eveara, or anything else but NEVER 'work' with SonoSuite.These guys are so unprofessional, I'm selling my music distribution company and I pray for SonoSuite to go bankrupt.
