Is songbay.co Legit?

Awesome service, they copyright all my songs at a fraction of the cost of other companies. Love their collaboration feature- ( currently in Belgium recording with a producer who I’ve met through Songbay) - thanks

With expert help and advice, Songbay is a brilliant organisation for breaking into the world of lyric and songwriting, along with selling works, collaborating with others and getting your work onto the relevant platforms. When I've sought advice or help, it was given willingly and was clearly backed by a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.

Joined songbay about a month ago and to be honest, it was pretty disappointing. Nearly all the Music Industry contacts are none existent, outdated. Information I can easily find myself on google. It might work for some, but it certainly didn't work for me.

It is pretty much dead as it seems. Nothing on social networks, their site also looks pretty much inactive. I have been there for about two years and although everyone said my lyrics are good I had no contact with anyone so far. I really hope that will change but so far from my perspective it is a dead community.

Fraud, plain and simple. I canceled my subscription almost a year ago, and they still charged me one year later. Folks, look how ridiculous this is. Your own website says that I can't sign into my account because you canceled it. Why the charge? Return IMMEDIATELY.

I joined a few months ago and really pleased i joined. Clearly run by people that know the music industry. Exceptional service and support. I mainly use them for their copyright service. I love the collaboration options with other songwriters too. Great value- highly recommend to all

Got to be one of the best music companies out there!I’ve been a member for a few months. I like all the functionality and teamed up with some really good lyricists in my short time here.Customer service- knowledgeable staff- clearly run by musicians and songwriters who care.I really like the free copyright protection of my lyrics.Don’t like -Some of the back end navigation is a bit confusing.Other than that, great!

I been using Songbay for several months. I’ve hooked up with some great songwriters and love their copyright features. Any time i have needed help, the team have been just great. The staff themselves are all musicians and songwriters, which is reassuring these days!

Teh people at Songbay are professional, experienced and enjoyable to work with. They have worked with me to produce an album, an EP and some standalone songs from the lyrics and ideas I provide. They have never let me down, and definitely go the extra mile to ensure that what is produced is of great quality that exceeds my initial expectations.

Songbay gave me the start in music. Through the collaboration zone I have found a wonderful collaborator ( Plasma Baby ). With the help of the Songbay Team we have produced two meaningful songs - Chains ( heavy metal) and Mad Money ( Hardrock). Last year I discovered something very exciting here on Songbay - collaboration zone! Teamed up with a cool lyricist. Guess what? Songbay is a very professional and well run organization. Prompt review of lyrics, great Song to Lyric service. The band has produced two songs for me in the past month. Both exceeded expectations in every respect. I’m brand new to this and appreciate the time and attention given to my lyrics and helpful suggestions to make me a better lyricist.

I was a seller.Their conditions are fair to the artist, but I haven't sold anything. I had 7 pieces of music up.(Edit: I never sold anything, but I were only selling instrumentals and the site seems catered to songwriters. Something sketchy though is that the subscription prices are in USD and when you go to pay it changes to Pounds.)

I have been super grateful for stumbling across Songbay since doing so back in August of 2013. Since then I have sold/licensed 50 songs to artists/music executives around the world. The fact that they handle the contractual side of things is also amazing. The traffic generated through Songbay for my music across multiple genres has been out of this world, as well as the advice, free contracts, and copyright protection!

My experience collaborating on Songbay has been led me into different musical directions. My 3 collaborative projects are with Metal/Hard Rock band Rage Unfold, EDM, ProjectP and Folk Rock group, SA-KE.I am fortunate these people were willing to work with my lyrics. I learnt a lot in the process and co-created some memorable songs.I think Songbay could have a section on examples of songs created through collaboration on Songbay.I am grateful to have worked with talented musicians and producers. From my own perspective, “Lyrics are nothing without music, mine are not even poems.”

I am a session singer and I've worked with Songbay on numerous songs for their lyric-to-song service. I've really enjoyed working with the team each time. They compose catchy and listenable tracks which enhance the lyrics and I've been impressed with how much they care about the focus and style the lyricist has said they would like the track to have. I've seen that they are very professional and take a lot of care to meet their clients' needs and requirements.
