I needed a trapezoidal shaped floating desk to fit the baywindow area. Joe from Solid Wood Tops promptly clarified by doubts and provided helpful suggestions. Communication was great. I wasn’t aware that Solid Wood Tops uses third party workshops to make the desk, but i dont have concern due to open communication.

I needed a bespoke 'desktop' and simply googled... one that came up and with good reviews was - SolidWoodTops, At the time of writing this i have not received the product so will add additional reviews once it gets delivered. However, based on my initial experience, great service, i cannot fault them. They have put me in touch with a 3rd party who will produce the final product, again a 5star company. Well Done SWT.

They make getting an actual wood top for a frame you like so much easier. I'll gladly pay that little extra since they can get the shape, colour and size right for you, while still perfectly fitting the frame you want. Definitely would recommend if you don't want to settle for veneer tops or want something special!

I used Solid wood tops to help create a solid oak l shaped bespoke desktop after struggling to find anything ready made that would do the job. The team found me a company that could take on the work and they then built the desktop to my exact specification and was millimetre perfect. Everyone was so easy to work with and the final product completely met my expectations (which is not easy). It was delivered on time, well protected and the lasy who delivered it was helpful and cheerful. A great and exacting service from start to finish!!

When looking for a very unique, bespoke desk design there was a limited number of options in the market. Solid Wood Tops have a huge range of customisation options and fantastic articles to help guide you through the whole process of designing your own desk. Once I submitted an order I also found the team incredibly communicative, offering good advice on my design and responding to my enquiries promptly. I would highly recommend their service!

I was struggling to find a company that could make a long L-shaped table top for a kitchen project when I found this company which made the process really easy and transparent. The site had lots of great information on how to design and order. A brilliant friendly service. Excellent product. Out bespoke desk design is deeper than normal. Recognizing this, the underside of the desk had some matching solid wood reinforcement added (that can be removed) at no extra cost.The finish is great.One thing to be aware of - with quality comes a bit of a lead time.Price wise this was very good - another company we found wanted 3x more.

Very helpful in answering queries and very responsive. I was able to order exactly what I wanted and they were very accommodating of custom requests. Found the website a little tricky to navigate, hence not giving the whole 5 stars but can't fault the service provided. Have only just confirmed my order today so can't comment on the product quality yet but have confidence that it will be as expected.

They were helpful in going between my requests and the supplier. We had several back and forths, they provided examples of previous work. Very helpful in getting to the end solution

Couldn't be happier with the quality of the desk top. We choose beechwood for my partner's new desk top as she wanted a slightly bigger top than the current desk so she could have the computer a little further away. We went for rounded corners too and it looks absolutely stunning. The quality of the wood is beautiful. We went with the unfinished option then I've just put a whitewash wax on it and it's come up absolutely lovely. Very happy indeed and definitely would recommend
