I'm a solar energy novice and seriously considering acquiring a photovoltaic system for my home. Not knowing where to begin, I did a web search for solar energy contractors in my area and SolarReviews seemed as good a place to start as any. Not only were they able to quickly locate my house and property, give an initial cost estimate based on my provided information, they also listed regional contractors for my reference. In addition, there were helpful "do's and don'ts" videos about things to consider when choosing your provider.

Website was easy to navigate. The online estimate was fast.

I received 4 (as requested) contacts for solar installation almost immediately. The companies were solid and I was able to select the one that fit my needs. Very simple process.

Entire purpose is to get all your info then sell it to summary companies so they can email ... Call... Them if you don't pick up they will just show up at your house bc they paid $ for that lead just like Angie's List.But yes, you will get prices if your willing to listen to the pitch. And generalized prices of course. To be fair for a solid quote they would need to see the roof and maybe panel but most ppl don't have an old panel or damaged roof and just want a general quote. Long story short... Call a reputable company in your area. Works allot better. They are nothing but middle men which is fine

First he did not push his ideas of selling. He listened to what I am trying to do other than roof installation. Also he understood that I am not looking for to make money by installing over 100% of our need. He will contact some contractors who will do smaller system on porch or carport. So I am looking forward to hearing back his recommended installers. Very pleasant conversation we had. Thank you.

Hannah Steele from Blue Raven was my Project Manager. She was great. She walked me through the presentation, answered all my questions and after I signed my paperwork, she stayed in contact with me during the construction, permit and energizing of my units. I still contact her from time to time to check on stuff for me or ask a question and without any hesitation, she finds an answer for me. Blue Raven did a great job on the installation and was timely for the inspections. My unit was energized in November 2023.

Solar energy is quickly becoming important due to continually rising electricity costs. We have recently moved into a new house and frequently solar sales people show up to sell us on their systems. Answering my questions and clarifying "what is the right move for me" is vital. THANK YOU. ... We will be on NEM2 & will start with a 5.14 solar system along with a 30K battery back-up. Our next move is to keep NEM2 & update to a 6.5 system. This allows us to run our HVAC or laundry a few hours per day. And with battery back-up we don't have to worry about PGE dependability. We now own that. ... The level of safety this provides for in the next 30 years is huge. And NEM2 allows us to sell power back to the criminal power providers so our system pays off on ROI within 7-8 years. Thereafter our true up is guaranteed to be positive in the THOUSANDS of Dollars. LOL
