smartyplus.net: Cashbacks
As smartyplus.net is associated with a popular Cashbacks niche, we tried scraping a paragraph from their website, below:
Smarty Plus Services
While the section above may show smartyplus.net’s business, there is a chance that its activities may expand beyond that. Let's look at a review.
smartyplus.net Review
The Scam Detector's algorithm finds smartyplus.net having an authoritative rank of 58.30. It means that the business is Active. Mediocre. Common.
Our algorithm gave the 58.30 rank based on 50 factors relevant to smartyplus.net's niche. From the quality of the customer service in its Cashbacks industry to clients' public feedback and domain authority, we have considered many important details.
Other factors include, but are not limited to, WHOIS details, IP address, Alexa rank, modern technology used for their website, SSL certificate, and presence or absence on suspicious website lists.
What does "Active. Mediocre. Common." mean? It is a business that's been online for a while. It seems like smartyplus.net has received both positive and negative feedback (occasionally), just like many other websites. That means that you need to exercise caution if you decide to proceed with using it.
What Else You Need To Know
Our algorithm used factors that analyzed in particular the company's website, in this case smartyplus.net. When we look into websites, we search for professional details that reveal key information about a business - how they sell, poor customer service, etc. For example, if we analyze a brewery page, we don't rate the beer taste, but rather their website and how they sell the beer.
This is not a vanity tool, so if you are the owner of smartyplus.net and not happy with the 58.30 ranking, remember that your website is your online business card. It REALLY needs some improvements. It could be anything from your online management system, to HTTPS connection. Or your public reviews, which are critical.

How To Spot a Fake Website in 2023
The advancement of e-commerce and the thousands of websites that are created daily also show us that there are several types of scams. Watch the video below to see 5 ways to spot a scam website in 2022:
How To Remove Your Personal Data From The Internet
Whether you accept it or not, the Internet is full of your personal information. Why? Every time you visit a website and accept cookies or download an app, data brokers collect your name, address, and phone number, selling further to third parties. It's a fact. Your harvested personal data is used for sending you spam emails, targeted ads, and annoying telemarketing calls. Scammers or identity thieves make use of it.
If you want to remove your information entirely, contact our partners at Incogni immediately. It is a trustworthy data privacy tool that requests your data removal from almost a hundred brokers on your behalf.
The service is verified by our staff and is legitimate. By joining Incogni, you get a big powerful button that flushes your personal information and enforces existing data privacy laws. Totally worth it for only $6.49/month (trust us). US, UK, EU, Swiss and Canadian residents only. Click below.

ALERT: Here Is The Best Way To Protect Yourself
For the end of the article we have a very powerful and important advice. After the increased amount of online fraud happening since the pandemic started, we have been asked many times what the most effective ways to stay safe online are. After experiencing and testing many fraud prevention platforms online, our team found that Surfshark is a must-have tool that should not be missing from your device. Here is why:
- They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy, securing your identity, and preventing third parties from tracking your device. They have a super aggressive antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Killer feature: They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online. This way, you could remove all your private data from the Internet by using these steps.
- They help you hide your online searches, which will get you purely organic search results, free from ads and tracking. You know when you search, for example, for a flight and the next time you look at the same search the prices are higher? With Surfshark, this is not happening.
Awesome, right? Last but not least, Surfshark offers 76% off + two months free to the Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal HERE or by clicking the button below.
TIP: How To Protect Your Online Browsing And Avoid Installing Malware
The second most powerful tool you should consider trying is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tried and tested by our team.
All the scam sites that Guardio blocks are the ones you click on coming from unknown links in emails, social media weird messages, popups, and, of course, ads.

My mother’s account has had nineteen dollars taken out mysteriously every month for a solid year. She just found out about Smartyplus today. She contacted her bank, and is setting up an inquiry and a dispute to try to get her money back.
Guys, DO NOT complain to THIS website about it; they merely report potential scams. You need to go to Smartyplus and take it up with THEM.
I I don’t know anything about this program you have I did not sign up for this. You have been taking money out of my account every month and I just noticed it this month I want my money back. I will report this to the fraud division. Because I did not okay you to take money out of my account.
Honey, you’re not talking to the actual company. Take it up wit Smartyplus, not Scam-detector.
I did not sign up for this. I would appreciate it if you would stop taking money out of my account. I need to report this situation because I need my money back. I am on a fixed income I don’t even know what your
I as well just noticed they have been charging me since 02.15.21 for a total of $303.00 of fraudulent charges. I have never signed up for this. I just completed the online chat with someone by the name of Sravan and was told I had to send an email to level 2 support. I have sent an email and if it’s not resolved in 24 hours I will be filing fraud with my bank tomorrow.
did not want to continue with want to cacel
Then go to that website and cancel.
I never signed up for this, Don’t know how to cancel it.
I did not sign up for this and do not want to continue getting charged.
i just discovered a $19 charge on my Visa & have never heard of Smartyplusnet! How do I get ahold of them? Will I be charged the $19 every month? I went to the bank today & told them. If I get another $19 charge, I will deny payment. Makes me mad. I work for my money!
“Get hold of them”, dear. And go to their website. The people on this site can’t do that for you.
Pretty much the same story as others: I ordered an item from Target in the amount of $170–during the ordering process, I was offered a code to get $15 off. Thinking it was a promotion, I clicked on the “bait”. Then got charged $3, but was still anticipating I would net a $12 rebate…until I got charged $19. So, all in, I was about to pay $22 to get a $15 rebate. Hmmm, not so “smarty”, eh? Fortunately, my bank declined the $19 charge and SmartyPlus.net canceled my so-called subscription, which I never set up. Of course, I also had to get a new card just to be sure they wouldn’t try to charge me again. OBTW, there’s no rebate, either.
Smartyplus.net sucks in credit card numbers from multiple coupon sites like restaurantji.com and will bill your card 19 bucks a month. I called them and they refunded my 79 buck that they sucked out without us knowing. They were nice about it but kept trying to sell me on a monthly plan that seemed impossible to go with based on this shady business dealing.
I just got a call from fraud protection on my card stating I had a $19 charge from them. I haven’t used my card. I got lucky they caught it and I check my card daily. The BBB has all the same complaints and $19 seems to be the consistent amount.
I have been billed on my credit card account for $19.00 a month for the passed 19 month as never ordered or received anything for this amount! I do not have an account with them! Called them at 310-593-4557 Asked for my refund and they did refund only 6 month of payment and said that is the MAX they could refund. Totally a SCAM…they are crooks ay SmartyPlus.net. They emailed me something that highlighted something that said they cannot refund anything past 6 months! That is totally Theft! Stay away and be safe!
I would call my credit card company and start a fraud alert.
Tried to order food online and thought I was on a legit restaurant site. I was charged $3 and then realized my mistake. Thinking it was a one time charge( because I didn’t go through any sign up process) and I was unsure how to dispute the charge,I let it go. I was then charged $19 a week later that I was unaware of until today, a month later, when they charged another $19. I contacted Smartyplus.net and basically was offered an attorney’s advice for $1. The convo was ended and I contacted the cc to dispute the charges and prevent further charges.
I also was taken in, and see that I’ve been paying into it since June. I didn’t see it on my online statements. It is IMPERATIVE that all statements be scrutinized carefully. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS “SERVICE”!! i lost $135.
My wife tried to order takeout from a new restaurant. She found a fraudulent website that appeared to belong to the restaurant. When she tried to place the food order with her credit card, the site set up an account that has been billing $19 each month. I called the number on the bill 3105934557 and they said that they will cancel the ‘seevice’. We will see
I did not sign up for smarty. Why am I billed for it?
tryed 4 times to cancel did not join there services
didnot join charged 19,dollars 4 times told 4 times will not be chargedagain
