slicelife.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives slicelife.com a medium trust score on the platform: 58.3. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to slicelife.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning slicelife.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between slicelife.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of slicelife.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of slicelife.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. slicelife.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether slicelife.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether slicelife.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, slicelife.com.

I've been a fan of the Slice App for several years now, and at least three moves so five years min, probably more. Although due to remote locations, sometimes only pick up was available, I've rarely had a bad experience with any of their restaurants or drivers. The fact that it helps put local businesses as well is a great perk be and necessary during this crazy time and how crazy everything in the work is lately!
Have used Slice multiple times to order from a few local pizza places. Most recently my train was late and my husband was stuck in traffic, meaning no one would be home for our pizza delivery. I was able to use the chat feature on the Slice app to change my order to pickup instead. I was pleasantly surprised when someone immediately answered the chat and was changing my order from delivery to pickup with 30 seconds. My delivery fee was also refunded immediately.
Fabulous customer service! I always use Slice to order from a few local pizzerias and appreciate the convenience. This last order was with a new place and Slice kept me updated on all steps of my order. When my order was sent out for delivery and not delivered for almost 90 minutes (cold salad place with hot pizzas in the hot bag), the driver and the pizzeria owner would not acknowledge nor make it right. I contacted Slice who rectified the issue and provided a quick solution.
The app was so easy to use and track. I sent a food delivery to my mom in another state and it could not have gone better. I had an issue with the app and customer service resolved it in seconds. Thank you Slice for a great experience from a courteous driver to an excellent customer service rep.
Customer service was good to help me find my pizza. Almost 2 hr delivery and food was cold from a pizza location 5 minutes away. Honestly it doesn’t take that long for food to be prepared and delivered.
I ordered from a local place tonight called Johnny Rockets. My voice of delivery was Grub Hub or Slice. I refuse to use Grub Hub. Never a response and horrible customer service (can never get anyone to assist and they pass the buck. Slice responded to me immediately, looked up my order, told me when I would be getting it ( couldn’t track because of mine own phone issues) . She told me my order eta was 4 minutes. She was right! Got my order and she stayed with me the whole time. thank you Ellie at Slice. I appreciate everything that you did.
Terrible. Order never forwarded to restaurant. Customer service says they are having trouble with app and there’s nothing that can be done. Deleting now.
Didn't get my delivery. Driver knew absolutely no English so we were forced to use text instead of being able to speak over the phone. He must have retyped the directions into his own cell phone and delivered the pizza to the wrong location. Customer support told me they'd only refund me 50% and the driver basically told me to figure it out myself.
When I went to order an Anthony's pizza, Slice! gave me Thornton CO rather than Golden as I searched. I go to my Anthony's in Golden and of course, no pizza. Thornton says no refund but I can get it free next time. I don't live there. Any real business would issue a credit for goodwill.
I have used the Slice app for a couple of years now to order at one local restaurant only and never any others. Last night, I googled my local restaurant, it brought me to the Slice app to a restaurant of the same name only it's 45 minutes away. I didn't realize it selected this other restaurant (it never had before). I went to pick up my order at my local restaurant, and they didn't have an order for me. I then realized the app brought me to this other restaurant instead. I called the restaurant to cancel, they said I had to contact Slice, so I did, and they put me on hold, called the restaurant and came back and told me the food was already made so it was too late to cancel. I will never use this app again.
Pizza was never delivered. Customer support chat and phone did not solve. Nor did emails. I was charged USD 42.64 and they offered a USD 5.00 credit on my next order. I would never order via Slice again.Slice replied to my review almost immediately and asked me to provide details. What a joke. I have already had extensive exchange of emails and their only offer was the USD 5 credit. I suggest their team see what the other hand has been doing and refund my money.
Tackett's Mill Pizzeria always serves fresh, convenient, quick and delicious food. We have had orders picked up and delivered. We are always pleasantly reminded of the quick, reliable quality and consistent taste of the food. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for staying in business to serve hunger locals.
Had to contact customer service via the chat function to resolve an issue with a reward. My chat was answered immediately and then my issue was resolved beyond my satisfaction in less than 2 minutes. Fantastic work!!
I ordered a salad from a pizza place and the salad did not come with the dressing. I called the pizza place, they said I have to go directly through Slice. I explained the situation to Slice and they refunded me $1 for the dressing. I told them I did not order extra dressing I ordered a salad with dressing and they said they could only refund $1 and would not send the dressing. They increased the price of the food on the website so I was incredibly disappointed to not get the food I ordered and will not even get a refund. I will never order from slice again and I do not recommend ordering from slice.
Great service. Very nice driver. App keeps you updated on delivery. Great customer service.
I ordered a Meat Lovers pizza from Bellas in North East and specifically asked to “HOLD THE GREEN PEPPERS”. My pizza was picked up but had the green peppers which ruined the whole pizza. I used the texting link to register my complaint. I was pleasantly surprised when they agreed to refund/charge back my payment. Excellent business ethics!!!
The food was amazing as usual. The restaurant called to let us know the delivery was running a little late, honestly it was only 15-20 minutes behind. But it was very appreciative of them to call and let us know, and they gave us a free pizza. The tracking the app offers is convenient and user friendly. Highly recommended!!
Convenient online ordering. Sent notification when order received and when order was ready for pick up as well as when order was picked up. Pizza was ready on time, hot, and just as we ordered. Convenient location to our vacation condo. Will visit again!
Horrible! They took our order for a local restaurant, took our money and then the driver kept the food!!!! DO NOT USE SLICE AS A DELIVERY COMPANY
I always get a great response from Slice when there is an issue with my order. It's usually something related to the delivery running behind and they are always quick to get me an answer.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
