Is skates.co.uk Legit?

This company has amazing customer service! My son wanted to build his own scooter for Christmas and the help I received was fantastic! I had numerous questions for them which were all answered quickly and I was able to get all of the parts that were needed knowing they all fit together. I cannot fault their customer service, they are very quick to respond and were very helpful with recommendations.

Pulled out all the stops to get my order dispatched..... Just in time for Christmas. Late ordering due to being let down by another supplier, but Skates.co.uk came to the rescue.I thought I was too late with my order but amazingly it arrived just in time Super communication from Matt, and fast dispatch Would I buy from them again?..... Definitely.

Awful customer service wouldn’t advise buying from them go and shop on skatepro instead much better.

Good price and despatched on time by skates uk.Their courier, DPD, however only gave 10 minutes notice that they had the parcel and of a 1 hour time slot and tried delivery less than 10 minutes into the slot. They didn’t leave with a neighbour and there was no pick up from depot. Only option was redelivery 4 days later after the bank holiday weekend. As a result my son didn’t have the scooter for the bank holiday weekend as planned.

Great service. Ordered the scooter for a Grand Daughter’s Birthday. Arrived promptly two days after ordering, well packaged and in pristine condition, with full instructions on how to assemble. Even includes the Allen key needed. Grand daughter also delighted with the scooter

Lovely service, quick to answer questions and delivery both times has been wayyy quicker than expected. Scooters have been great and I feel that, if there were any issues (touch wood this has not happened yet) I would be fully supported as a customer.

The scooter is exactly what my great grandson wanted, he’s delighted!I have given maximum stars because of this but the couriers DPD were pathetic.They were asked to leave the parcel across the road with a neighbour as we were away for the week, they left it leaning up against my front door!When I contacted them by their “Chat” line I was told the neighbours weren’t in, that was a lie, my neighbours were in all day and looking out for the couriers during the allotted delivery time. When I pointed this out the “ Chat” line disconnected.Im afraid to say the majority of my dealings with DPD have been negative'

Communication was excellent when there was a delay through no fault of their own, but they were straight on the phone to update me.Also the delivery was very quick as as promised, overall very good service!

We bought a stunt scooter for £90 for our 9 year old and after about 3 sessions the back wheel was flattened off with multiple sides (no longer circular and no longer usable). We finally got through to someone who said they would not replace the wheel as it would have been from using the brakes, and implied user error. Given that my son had a similar scooter for 3 years previously, which he used in exactly the same way, it seems more likely to be cheap / poorly made parts for a product being sold as a mid range and supposedly durable product. Extremely disappointing!
