Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 87.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sjp.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning sjp.co.uk, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sjp.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sjp.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sjp.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sjp.co.uk is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether sjp.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

Put in a formal complaint in March 2024 and still waiting for it to be assigned a complaint handler.Continually fobbed off with excuses about high volumes of complaints and waiting for a handler with specific skills to manage our complaint. We were told this had been escalated but still no response. Do no use this company.Just generates stress and frustration that it is 9 months since our complaint was registered and still haven't got a response.
I have been with SJP for many years and fortunately have a good Adviser who is easily contactable. The current changes to access the site are not going well. I eventually managed the new App on my phone, and wonder how many people of a certain age are struggling? Download app, new password, enter two passcodes, take a photo from passbook, now photograph yourself and please wait until more checks are made!!
Awful company!Advisor was very pushy trying to get me to invest ALL my money and when I didn't was moody and obviously put out.Decided to go it alone because I just didn't want to see her again.Had trouble getting my money out of an ISA. They were very slow paying a pension draw down. Promised me a refund of funds I paid for an advisor within 3 weeks. Still waiting and totally conflicting advice from 2 members of their team within 2 days.I'm going to withdraw all my funds next year. Rather keep it under my mattress!!
Avoid at all costs. My financial advisor didn’t provide sufficient advice so I made a formal complaint over a year ago. Although the complaint was upheld I still haven’t been paid the full amount of compensation due and have just been fobbed off and delayed by them using every trick in the book. Replied to SJP request - let’s hope it’s not another 12 months before I hear from them!
An email told me I had a letter in my account. I could not access it. The helpline said the system was down. I called again. As my account is closed neither I nor customer care can get my letter. They said they would find it and send by post to arrive in 4 days. 8 working days later, still waiting.Received letter 9 days later dated 18 Dec. Original was dated 28 Nov and required a response within 3 weeks. Hoping immediate response to 2nd letter is accepted.
I have been a client of SJP for many years entrusting them with my pension funds which are managed by DAVID BEAN at Municipal Financial Planning. David isn't in your face every 5 minutes trying to sell you something but engages appropriately and makes sound recommendations based on my pension needs. I'm now retired and I'm sure the great method SJP employs in picking the best fund managers in the world to manage their clients money and the great service I receive from David Bean will ensure my financial future in retirement.Thank you St. James's Place and David Bean in particular.
Further to my earlier rating. I have had a reply to my complaint. I asked for financial advice regarding payment of non-director minors bonuses from businesses. I was told to ask my accountant. Why did I pay SJP for advice if I am just going to be passed on to other people? This is the end of it for me but be warned paying for financial advice to SJP does not mean you will get it.
Great experience having my pension with St. James’s Place. I have had a very knowledgable adviser since day one and I am more than happy with the performance of the funds I am invested in and the ongoing service. I feel a lot more confident about having a suitable retirement plan in place from the advice I have received over the years - not just in relation to my pension but with all financial matters. Absolutely would recommend.
I've been with St James Place as my end to end Wealth Advisors for over 7 years.Sarah has been my financial advisor for 5 of those 7 years and is truly incredible.I'm kept up to date on my wealth account all the time, have regular meetings to review my position and i'm always kept in the loop with the changes in the market.I couldn't recommend working with St James Place enough.
Excellent service. They mapped out a very detailed plan of my retirement income. Very comprehensive and illuminating process. Useful advice on areas I’d not even considered. Investment and pension accounts are performing well. I am pleased to have made the switch to SJP and feel confident my financial future is in safe hands.
We joined SJP 3yrs ago after being recommended by a friend. Richard Batchelor from the Bournemouth area is a great advisor and keeps us updated. He is always available by phone or Email and quick to respond. We met with him this week and are very happy with how our investments have grown and look forward to a profitable future. People need to ignore the scaremongers and speak to your advisor to allay any worries. Thank you Denise and Martin
SJP have done us proud although it would be more accurate to say that our SJP Partner, Adam Benton Wealth Management, has done us proud. He and his team always keeps us well informed and manages our finances brilliantly and is always at the end of the phone if we have any queries or concerns. Highly recommend Adam Benton and would have no issues at all referring others. 5*+ service.
Chloe Wood of St James place, based in Ashford but visits us at home has been nothing short of excellent. She is the ultimate professional, who has given us excellent financial advice and we have seen a profit in our investment already. T Heavey
I am very confident investing with SJP and have been investing regularly for a few years now. They are honest, reliable and realistic about what to expect when it comes to investing with them. This year in particular I have started to see very positive results with my investments and I hope to maintain a long term partnership with SJP and James Dare. Patience and Persistence really does pay off! It’s worth it!
I'm very happy with the overall service St. James's Place has given me. Since I switch my pension over with them I have doubled the value of my savings due the expert investment knowledge they have. I would very much recommend their services to anyone who want's to bolster their retirement plans.
I have been a client of SJP for 5 years now. Initially I was a novice in investments and pensions and thanks to help from my adviser I have become more knowledgeable. SJP have helped me grow my money and aim towards a much better future for myself. I couldn't be happier, I've made good returns, saved tax and I have strategy for life which I couldn't do without SJP.
I have been with SJP for almost 10 years. Their advice has been excellent in where to invest and how to manage my pensions, ISA's and Unit trusts. Also clear personal advice on how best to manage my estate to give the best way of passing on my estate in the most tax efficient way to my family. I have also probed in depth the reasons for the current bad press SJP are receiving and have satisfied myself and my spouse to retain the continued confidence and investment in SJP.
I was very anxious and stressed over my pension, so really need advice on how to move forward. It took me nearly a year to actually make the decision to change to SJP and my advisor, Chris, was extremely patient with me.The whole experience was great - very relaxed, every was explained fully and I now believe I will get the best results possible when the time comes to retire.I love the fact that I can have regular meeting with Chris and feel I am being given the best advise every step of the way
We’ve been using SSJ for a few years now, they came well recommended and have exceeded our expectations. Great people and better advise. Nick is a diamond, set us up for life and we couldn’t be more impressed. We don’t have a massive portfolio but Nick has made what we have work really well.
We have been recommended St. James ‘s Place 4 years ago by a very close friend. The service offered is excellent! Nick our financial advisor is always committed to providing the right information at the right time. His outstanding experience is helping the whole family through the different investment strategies.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
