Is silencershop.com Legit?

Turn around was quick. Less than 8 full days for an NFA item. I also utilized customer service for some questions, and while it was a cold experience (short answers, no emotion, not thanked etc) it WAS a very quick and efficient process. I would definitely use Silencer Shop again, and having the kiosk and a dedicated employee at my LGS made the process very easy. I feel like a kid at Christmas again!

Ask questions, if you're not sure about the process. Especially, if your dealer is not giving specific directions.I thought I was waiting for the he dealer and, or the ATF. They were all waiting to get information from me. I only had to email Silencer shop and ask for a conversation. They answered my questions and helped me complete the process.

Extremely easy process. However the app did not work at all for me though it was a non issue given you can upload your picture on the site under your account, the kiosk was very simple to do fingerprints as well.Now for the good stuff 19 days from purchase to approval for my first can (ODB 718) simply amazing.

They make buying a suppressor so easy I wish that I had done it much sooner. I avoided it because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of the ATF. But, with Silencer Shop and E-Forms, it couldn't be easier. Once you get the first one out of the way, the buying and getting the rest are as easy as shopping at any online retailer.

I'm new to the process of buying a suppressor. While I still think that, for the newbie, there is a lot that doesn't get readily answered, I do think that the process is pretty seamless and works well. Especially true for the second purchase - so much more streamlined when the system has all of your information.

Filling out the forms online went smoothly, but trying to get my finger prints at the kiosk was very frustrating. For whatever reason the machine had a very difficult time getting images. Technically this is not the Silencer Shop's fault nor their fault that I'll need to make another trip to electronically sign the forms before getting my silencer. However, it is much quicker and simpler than the previous method

I've always wanted to purchase a suppresser but felt the paperwork involved would be too much of a headache. I have to admit it was way easier than I had expected! The salesman was awesome which made it very painless. If they could speed up the ATF that would be great! LOL

Hate to say it guys but your phone app is kinda awkward , this is my third Tax Stamp purchase and I still find it difficult. There are 4 options at the bottom of the app. Registration is fine, but photo could be included w/registration. Kiosks I guess, I knew where my gun shop/kiosk was located. One of the main points of coming to Silencer Shop is to purchase a tax stamp, and it isn’t there. I managed to muddle my way thru the purchase of the stamp, only way I was reasonably sure I completed everything was by checking my bank account showing $206.00 pending. My username/password for silencer shop also did not work in the email I received, eventually I got it right. I realize you guys have thousands of buyers. Just wish there was a better way. Thanks

I was able to get set up at my local dealer through the Kiosk on my lunch break one day. I’ve purchased 6 suppressors now from Silencer Shop and it’s like buying on Amazon now. It’s very easy and the prices and selection are very good too.

What made my 1st experience with this purchase was ..I made a mistake on my eformAnd did not catch it until after i had signed the document..They were very quick at resending the form and getting me back on track...if anyone is in the market let me just say..Do it.. don't hesitate thinking it will take to long..even with my mistakes I was approved in in 4 days making it a total of 6 days because of my mistake .The silencer shop kiosk and a FFL that is in there program made this a breeze...thanks Silencer Shop

Probably the best place for in stock options. Shipping is generally covered in the price and they seem to communicate well throughout your purchase. Good company to deal with.

I haven't received my product yet -- HOWEVER, I like that I can go to a Kiosk and have my prints on file so that I don't have to keep up with them myself for follow-up purchases (though, saying that out loud introduces an obvious identity theft risk, should their systems get hacked); and I like that my preferred FFL dealer is on their list-- so it really streamlines the process, in a big way. I'm used to filing with the ATF on my own account, but if you're a new user, this probably takes a lot of the guesswork out of it for you. Also -- GREAT price!! I bought from here because of the price -- I already had my EFT file and FFL dealer, but after using the Kiosk, I forsee follow-up purchased being WAY faster!! And this review is based on that presumption -- and the price and availability of this product (It was like $225 more expensive from the manufacturer, and most other shops don't offer this one)

Easy experience for your first time purchases. Only down side is the first kiosk I went to was broken or somthing but I'd take this any day over mailing in fingerprints.
