shopladder.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives shopladder.com a pretty low trust score on the platform: 31.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Medium Risk. Standard. Warning.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 31.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to shopladder.com's industry. The algorithm detected fairly high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Medium Risk. Standard. Warning. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning shopladder.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between shopladder.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of shopladder.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of shopladder.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. shopladder.com is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether shopladder.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether shopladder.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, shopladder.com.
Online Reviews of shopladder.com

“NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!”
I purchased a weight rack from this HORRIBLE company through walmart.com. To begin what they advertised is not what I was looking to purchase. Also their return and shipping policy should truly be a crime, they have no care for their customer. Its sad, but take note of their trash 1. Nothing rating, it is honestly reflective of who they are.
“Horrible company, don't buy from them”
I tried to buy a sectional from shopladder.com. Twice they cancel my transaction, because I paid with amex. My bank approved the transaction, but finally after a week of negotiations, shopladder told me that they don't accept amex. Then I paid with my visa debit card for the same order and they cancel the order again. They even did not notify me about cancellation. Finally they told me to pay via paypal, but when I wanted to, the item was out of stock. So, I am very upset and don't wanna buy from them anything any more
“Very Fair and Excellent Customer Service”
I ordered an item from Walmart and it turned out that the seller was ShopLadder. I then looked them up on the internet and started to be concerned because there were so many negative reviews. All I can say is that my experience was great. Their communication was excellent and shipping was fast. There was a problem with the item and the customer service they provided was outstanding. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Thanks!
“Horrible company that doesn't pay it's dropship providers - owes us back pay of 7 months”
After multiple attempts to collect money owed to us (approx $1000,) we have received no response so we are left leaving feedback wherever we can. We let Shop Ladder pay late multiple times so we should have known the company could be in trouble. Lesson learned... pretty sad that a company can do this to someone providing a service.
“Abhorrent cancelation processing”
The amount of time it takes for this company to process cancelations is an insult to customers and a way to insure that you pay for their product. I do not recommend ordering anything through this company
“IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 0 STARS, I WOULD! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!”
I purchased an item from this company and went to return it to Walmart but they told me to return it to shop ladder (I had no idea who this company was). So, I returned it within their return policy period through the post office which is extremely reliable and trustworthy ~ i have never had them loose anything of mine, nor do I know anyone who has. A month after my return, I emailed the company to req. Status of my refund but had lost the tracking number, as I was moving, so they told me that they can't give me my money back ~ they offered no other solution! I am so upset because I don't make a lot of money and the item was $80.00 and it cost me $40.00 to return. They have the item, they just haven't given me my money ~ they stole $120.00. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.
“Don't buy from here”
Purchased a snow blower. Before it even arrived there was a price reduction of 63 dollars. They would not honor that. If I refused the order on arrival they will charge me return shipping. Won't even let me talk to a supervisor. VERy POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
“This company is a sham”
Misrepresent products: bought a mailbox through - I though - Sears. But was actually this company. Delivered a completely different product. Impossible to find/get customer support. Finally found an email. They refused to supply a prepaid return label telling me not only did I have to pay to return their misrepresented product but that they would charge me a 15% restocking fee. So they made money all the way around. What a sham. I advised them that if they did not make this right, I'd advise others of their erroneous practices and next I will be contacting the BBB, etc. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
“DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CON ARTISTS!”
Bought a smoker and shopladder lied and said it was discontinued and Weber was out of stock. Called Weber. Smoker was not discontinued and had plenty in stock. No apologies for wasting two months of my time and $400. THEY DONT CARE! Horrendous "customer service ".
“Bad products/company”
I brought a bed from shop ladder the day of me receiving the bed the box it came in was all Torn up. Before I could reach out I was hospitalized for 28 days finally home paid a company to put my bed up come to find out the wooded piece onnthe side ofvthe bed was off. So I called walmart they never told me about no 30 day return policy or anything no information was with the box with the bed or anything. Now they are saying there's nothing they can do to help. Very unfair I will never order or advise anyone to order from them.
“I posted a bad review but it was MY mistake!”
I ordered a bedframe through Houz and was sent the wrong legs. I contacted Houz and they referred me to ShopLadder. The bed is lying in pieces on my bedroom floor and, after reading these reviews, I am skeptical that they will respond and send me the right legs. Well, we'll see. Is anybody at ShopLadder out there listening? UPDATE: The right legs were there all along in the bottom of the box! I found them and put the bed together and it is BEAUTIFUL! They did get back to me and were in the process of resolving the leg issue when I discovered MY mistake! Silly me!
“Sells out of stock items and refuses to cancel order”
Sells out of stock re respond to cancelling the purchase recliners for 1k and do not have in stock. Seller would not respond to cancel the order... feeds off the Walmart site. Check BBB in south florida... had to contact Walmart corporate and have them kicked off Walmart as a seller... CON ARTIST Tip for consumers:DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SHOPLADDER SITE FROM WALMART OR ANYWHERE Products used:Had Walmart corporate cancel the order...seller refused Con artist Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Purchase your product somewhere else!”
Other than a return or exchange due to an error on our part, we cannot refund shipping and handling charges. So... this is their POLICY. Yet they charged me shipping for an item that I purchased because the age range stated 4-8 and 12 years and up. According to the information, this product (trike) should have been fine for my 6 year old. These age ranges were completely off. I would like to see any kid 6 and old fit on it. Laughable! I call this an error on their part. I would not recommend this Company. I will never purchase from them again. Informing all of my friends as well. Scammers!
“Takes Advantage During COVID-19 Pandemic”
This is beyond Better Business - a moral judgment needs to be brought down on companies such as ShopLadder who take advantage of Americans during a crisis. Sells necessary supplies during a pandemic, advertises an early delivery date, takes your money, then pushes that date 2-3 months out as they did not confirm inventory prior to sale. They lie by telling you the product will arrive very soon, but they are only doing it to sell more product and have everyone wait. Unfortunately, ShopLadder did not confirm inventory before selling me a product and committing to an early delivery date. Instead, many weeks later, they said sorry can you wait an additional 2-3 months. This business is not honest. They will tell you one thing, take your money, and then push the deliver date of your product. People like this give humanity a bad name. There are people dying and they want to rip off Americans. This is beyond Better Business - a moral judgment needs to be brought down on companies such as ShopLadder who take advantage of Americans during a crisis.
“AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS”
Do not buy from SHOPLADDER. Their return policy and shipping policy is awful. Its a scam. They sell on Amazon as well make sure you look and see who you are buying from and if it is SHOPLADDER avoid them, they suck
“Terrible customer service”
They do not work with you and could not get a return phone call, or wouldn't leave a message, until they tried to charge me storage with no notice. Stephanie, in Customer Service, was unprofessional and very unwilling to even discuss options. Her attitude was "my way - or no way". Very frustrating and unhelpful
“Buyers beware”
Stay away from the is company, make sure they are not a third party vendor. I ordered something online thinking this company was walmart related and it's not, this company has their employees read a script that a machine can do. They say that they'll wave the shipping fee when walmart does not charge a fee to the customers, but you will have to pay for the return slip of $22 and the manager Stephen is supposedly the main guy who works for a company that does not have a corporate entitie. Consequently this company does not give two $#*!s about the customer.
“Never buy any product from them”
I bought a table runner thru Sears together with 6more items that I opt to pick up to the store as I live in an apartment where there are a lot of tenants. I picked up other items to 2 different stores but the one that shopladder sells doesn't have an option to ship to store so since I thought Sears will get me covered if something worst happens, I still bought it. I keep tracking the item but it still hasn't arrive. I received a confirmation email about the delivery on the Thanksgiving day, which is weird, but still checked the mail and the item wasn't there. So I called Sears/Kmart and they contacted shopladder for me. So the only answer that I got is that the tracking says delivered and did nothing to rectify the issue. Until now they have not done any action yet. This company is very alarming. Do not make this company fool you.
“Worst shopping experience via sears online”
Poor quality product and worst return, multi step process and you you pay the shipping. The photos online donot match the real product quality and character.
“Dishonest and disrespectful.”
My husband sent me a listing via text to purchase. I triple checked the listing to make sure that it included both the bed and the toy boxes as stated in the title and description. I ordered the set in the morning for $140 and received a confirmation email. This evening the Shopladder contacted me saying "We just wanted to make sure that you knew this was only for the toy boxes not the bed." I replied saying that I triple checked that it was the complete set. The woman from Shopladder said "I'm looking at it right now on the website and it's only for the boxes, though there's a listing for the bed that's $517." I don't know who she was trying to fool but I had a confirmation email with the original listing and the link my husband had sent me. I clicked on the link my husband had sent me (and that I purchased from) and sure enough they had updated the listing to $517. The title still stated it as the complete set though and the seller was passing it off as a mistake on my part. As I used the same link both times, I know they changed the listing and lied to me and wouldn't honor their original listing. This is completely dishonest, disgusting, and disrespectful saying that I didn't do my due diligence in researching before I purchased. FYI - on Amaz0n it was listed for $229.
“I will NEVER use this 3rd party company again!”
After dealing with Shopladder/IVG stores I will NEVER order thru them again! Terrible customer service. I ordered what appeared to be a complete quilt set for $182 that I thought included quilt, shams, bedskirt and throw pillows judging from the photo that was advertised. My error! It was only the quilt... king size. Had a very odd odor to it and I didnt like it. Now to try sending it back. What company name and address do I use? Shopladder or IVG Stores or Walmart? Then after I packaged it up in the original box it came in, I found out I could not just mail it back now I have to get a pre-printed return label that the company must send to FedEx and they will send to me. Can this get any more difficult? Been waiting 3 days for an email that hasn't come. NEVER< NEVER< NEVER again will I use a 3rd party company. Evidentially Walmart sent me an evaluation to fill out... I had to answer in 2 days... missed it... Dang!
“THEY CHANGE YOUR PURCHASE AFTER YOU ORDER”
I ORDERED A COMPLETE BED FRAME FROM THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY VIA WALMART WITH PAY PAL. IT WAS ADVERTISED AS A COMPLETE SET ARRIVING IN TWO SEPERATE BOXES. I RECEIVED THE HEADBOARD, NEVER RECEIVED THE REST OF THE ORDER. WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE ABOUT WHEN THE REST WOULD BE DELIVERED I WAS TOLD THAT THE AD WAS CHANGED ON THE WALMART WEB SITE AND THE COMPLETE BED WAS NOT AVAILABLE BUT WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE THE REMAINING PART OF THE BED FRAME. THIS WAS CHANGED AFTER I ORDERED THE ITEM. I HOPE PEOPLE READ THESE REVIEWS AND TAKE HEED! THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER RATING ON PRODUCT IF I'D HAD RECEIVED THE COMPLETE ITEM. WE'LL SEE WHAT THE RESOLUTION WILL BE SINCE I'VE MADE A COMPLAINT TO PAY PAL AND THEY DON'T RECEIVE THEIR MONEY. Tip for consumers:DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST ON THESE THIRD PARTY VENDORS. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Fake company”
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM SHOPLADDER. COM! Even if you read the review you will get a very cheap knockoff of what you think you're paying for and then when you call to complain they consider that "buyer's remorse"and make you pay the shipping to not only send it back but it came free shipping they ding you for that too! I basically spent $350 on an egg/basket swing, read the reviews said it was wrought iron wrapped in resin wicker when the chair came it was in four pieces which was not stated in the description as well as the chair was made out of polyurethane plastic I was told by customer service I needed to read the description a little better!? SMH then they tell you very third party company so they have to check with the original maker and shipper of the product for the shipping costs. Nothing I've heard read or seen from dealing with them is legit! They also charged my debit card before it was even out of processing most companies do not charge your card until the item ships be very very careful
“Scam”
Be weary of buying from this company as they are crooks. Walmart should be ashamed to to have a company like this sub-selling on their site
“THEIVES”
DO NOT DEAL INN ANY WAY WITH THIS COMPANY - OR THEIR EXECUTIVES - STEVE TUNG AND RICHARD TYSON. THEY ARE THEIVES. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
