sherum.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives sherum.com one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 8.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 8.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sherum.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning sherum.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sherum.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sherum.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sherum.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sherum.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether sherum.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether sherum.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Thought I purchased 2 hummingbird feeders 2 weeks ago, no bird feeders received to date. Think it might be a scam. Sherum.com. I will be checking with my credit card company to dispute any charges until I receive what I ordered.

  2. Dianne Copeland

Ordered watch from Sherum. Received after 3 weeks. Scanned code. Started to download app. Told me it had virus. Payment went to company called Clickmob. Returning for a refund. I will see if I get the refund.

  3. Brian Smith

I cannot find any information to validate the science of the blood sugar analyzer. I know there’s research done in this area and had a watch that used sweat to measure glucose. It was very inaccurate, so I am very suspicious of this company because they don’t list any of their research to back up their science. Unfortunately, this is one area that you don’t address in your review-but you should.

  4. Jim Todd

I ordered a patriotic wreath because the ad intimated it was made in America. On its way from south China. Do NOT buy!

    1. Fiona

  8. Lynn trout

Sherum is a total ripoff! If you\'re fortunate enough to receive something from them, it\'s not what you ordered, and if you want to return the item, they say it will cost $50-$80 (on a $50 purchase). Oh, and they will be so generous as to give you a $18 refund. This company should be shut down. Tell everyone you know not to order from She rum -- ever! It is a total scam. My rating for them is -0.

  24. Steve

I ordered military tribute glasses from Sherum. Deceptive advertising and fraudulent product. Wishi

  25. Judie

I also ordered the eagle plaque thinking it was a large piece and carved beautifully carved. It is a piece of whatever. It is a thin piece of pressed cardboard or who knows, and it is barely 9ins. Now I ordered the witch plaque and just read it is just a piece of paper glued to a piece of how knows. Thanks for letting me vent.

  26. Lynne O.

This is the second time Sherum has screwed me over with their fraudulent advertising! Items advertised are nothing like what you get!! Everything looks 3D, but it\'s just a photo put on a piece of cardboard. How do they get away with this crap? Thank you for letter me vent, too.

  27. Kevin Beckert

Sherum nightglo glasses- This company should be shut down and since my dealings with them I have decided to double check any purchases prior to finalizing it that if it ships from China I\'m noy buying it. I requested a RMA to return these cheap useless glasses and they said sure send them back but it will cost you $55.00 to $60.00 to ship them back for a refund and they offered me $8.00 to keep them. The shipping cost is almost equal to the purchase price. Well I told them, shame on me for ordering anything that ships to the USA from China. Do not buy anything from Sherum, period
