We came up with the 62.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sharperedgeengines.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning sharperedgeengines.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sharperedgeengines.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sharperedgeengines.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sharperedgeengines.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sharperedgeengines.com is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether sharperedgeengines.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

No communication at all after my engine was sent out. They had me send my engine to a Gee's in Houston, Tx at the end of May 2024. Its currently October 2024 and I still don't have my engine back. At this point I had to sale the car because I couldn't keep it at the shop, my subdivision doesn't allow none running cars, and I wasn't going to pay for storage not knowing anything. I understand Sharper Edge isn't the one doing the work on the engine, but they are the ones that had me to send it to this stop. Knowing this was supposed to only take 3 weeks. Not once have they reached out to me about what they are trying to do to get my engine back. Each time I have called Sharper Edge or Gee's, I kept earing 1 more week from Gee's and that started in August. Last week of August they stated it was another Audi engine they had ready, but mine will be ready next week and he would give me a discount since it's taken so long. Never heard back from them after that. At this point, I will never recommend that shop, nor someone send their engine to Sharper Edge. Since I never got my engine back and had to sale the car they got a free engine from me.
What a great company. I just received my engine and it was clean and complete. I have bought engines in the past that never looked as good as this one. Hopefully I wont ever need another engine for my cars but if I do Sharper Edge will be the only one I go with.
Warranty wasnt even close to what we duscussed on the phone. They were supposed to get me squared away and havent heard a word since. I got the emails sooo...
This is the third Engine I have trusted to Sharper edge engines .Thanks Jack!
This company is a reseller of 3rd party engines, not a remanufacturer. No shop, no inventory, Yalda's home is the business address. They just have the engine drop shipped to you. My remanufactured engine quit in under a year, 4400 miles. Now fight to get them to honor their warranty. "You don't need the paperwork, just call us if there is a problem." Then you find out about the draconian oil change requirements under policies on their website. Knew about that? How about a third party insurer? Get past that and got them to honor their warranty? Now constant monitoring to ensure they fix it, then get a defective engine back. Crickets regarding the defective engine, valves installed so they would not fully close. This after finding the missing bolts in the valve train and the crank timing gear installed using two nail shafts. Lawsuit to get troubleshooting and labor costs paid on the original warranty repair as well as parts requested by, but not returned by "their mechanic" (not an employee) that had to be replaced. Now another legal action to get reimbursed for costs associated with the repair of my returned warranty engine. If you deal with them, keep all the e-mails, texts, receipts and correspondence. You'll need it. Better to just not do business with them! There are so many inaccurate statements in their reply... I will highlight: my mechanic did not push a bolt in the wrong place, there was a broken tang from the head exterior in the head. They did not replace the engine, I marked the core before sending it back to them and I spent over 3 months keeping tabs on the "mechanic" who had the engine in Jacksonville. I have all the texts and pictures from him. I spent 3 months asking for the warranty troubleshooting and labor reimbursement before taking legal action and again texts and e-mails to prove it. Likewise I spent 3 months trying to ensure I got the parts requested by their mechanic back. They were not returned. Again, I have the texts and e-mails. They again assert they replaced the engine; the engine still has my name scribed in the block and the sticker from the original remanufacturer who went out of business is still on the engine. Yalda refunded me $500 to get out of her driveway where I was parked in Jacksonville to collect the promised full refund if the engine was not done ( I've got the texts and e-mails). Yalda was so sorry for all the inconvenience that she stated "this is not a refund, it is for all the trouble you've had..." The $455 was for the core deposit and broken water pump and missing gasket from the install kit. They did not want the core back due to all the problems with the remanufacturer. It took a Better Business complaint to get it paid. It may have been their final payment, but it cost me $1200 dollars for a dealer to figure out and fix valves that were not closing. That does not include additional monies to my installer for trying to figure out and fix my defective engine they returned. After 3 months, still no response. Guess you know what that means Jack! I will be more than happy to provide documentation, I have it all attached to the legal complaint.Once again to their reply, the $455 was a refund of the core deposit I paid at purchase, to pay for a new water pump delivered broken the first time it was delivered, and the gasket missing from the install kit. There is no mention of their broken promise of a full refund if the engine was not ready. It wasn't, no surprise. I drove to Jacksonville and parked in the driveway of Yalda's house, their business address on my invoice, and called her. She claimed they were out of state. Didn't get the promised full refund! She made it clear that the $500 was not a refund, but compensation for all the problems that had occurred. The remaining amount they claim to have refunded is the warranty provided 1 hour of troubleshooting, warranty 10 hours of labor, and reimbursement for all the parts of mine that were not returned. That is not a refund, it is a cost of doing business. They started early telling me they would return a remanufactured engine. I will happily provide a copy of their mechanics denial of my concerns regarding metal in the oil pan we found in preparation for return of the engine to them, and his admission that the engine was not remanufactured (as defined on Sharper Edge's website). The only thing done was the valves and they didn't do them right! It took their mechanic a month and a half to find the broken tang and that was after the engine had allegedly been to the machine shop the first time. It allegedly went to the machine shop a second time, but their mechanic could not produce a receipt to show me what had been done. Given their mechanics penchant for losing parts, is it possible he just replaced the valves? That would explain the missing bolts and the improper valve install.
These people are one of the best on line businesses ...I got my motor less than a week and it runs smoothly !Thank you all

“It was awesome!”
I was very impressed by the level of professionalism that Sharper Edge Engines Services provided for me. I really surprised how kind they are. I can explain this company with these words: Reliable, Quality, professional. Highly recommend! Sarah M. Service Value Shipping Quality
“WHOA! WAIT! WHAT?”
Was in need of an engine for Volkswagen 2.0 CC (yes qualified but VW denied) and Jack gave me s price that was doable but I've yet to get it. Only been 2 days and holiday tomorrow so I'm good on waiting. However the complaints on customer service I just can not believe. Jack called me back 2x sent my invoice 2x and I was the one who had missed him. I'll keep this post going as the process continues but so far I feel confident in choosing Sharper Edge.
“What an amazing company”
This is my first time writing a review. I have a 2007 Lexus ES 350. My engine warped so I had to get a new one. Lexus told me 4400 for an engine with ******* miles, Sharper Edge got me an engine with ******* Miles for 2800. It arrived to my mechanic in 4 days. That car feels better then when I bought it. This has been the most amazing experience I've ever had dealing with an online company. The salesman Jack was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He even went out He's way to find me a radiator. Thanks guys. Trust me you can't go wrong doing business with them
“Won't honor warranty”
I bought an engine from them 16 months ago as well as a three year warranty. Timing chain broke last week. They won't honor the warranty and are giving me the run around that it is up to the remanufacturer to make good. He of course says it is their problem. Sharper edge engines is now refusing to communicate with me at all. Tip for consumers:Keep all documentation. Products used:Engine Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“I've used this company many times”
I've used this company many times. I have had some issues but they were mostly due to the freight company delivering the engine. As always SSE handled the issue and even gives me money back even though it's not thier fault. They take care of thier customers. Who ever that is saying that on here is lieing.
“Great Service From Scott”
Scott was extremely professional. I purchased two engines in 3 months and each time, he followed the order from sale to delivery and engaged with me through the process. Never once did I need to call or email with a question. I highly recommend working with him. Donovan DePoe Hugo, Mn
“Jack..”
Jack. I wanted to let you know that my engine change is successful. We received engine on 10/22/13, and swapped it into my 2005 Kia Sedona On 10/27/13. We replaced the timing belt, plugs, hoses/clamps, water pump, Thermostats/gasket, belts, new radiator, Oil and filter, all with new Parts, as we wanted to insure no future problems. I changed the oil/filter again after first 500 miles. I have driven in and out of town over the holidays and I feel very Confident in this engine, it has the power Expected, the fuel mileage is better, and I believe this engine will Last long like my original one did. Thanks again to you and Sharper Edge Engines for delivering a good Quality engine as you promised.
“Vw cc motor”
Top of the line customer service. Worked with David he helped me with all my concerns witch was very helpful. Got motor when he said my mechanic said it was very clean. Installed in December runs great. David mad the experience very easy very professional. Thank you Service Value Shipping
“Approach with caution”
I called to get quote for engine from them. They said they had one in another state. I Asked for pictures. The pictures they send me was exact picture I found from another website car-part.com a site salvage yards use to offload used engines for half the price I was quoted. They apparently just sit at a computer and dropship engines from other sources. I will not buy from them. They probably never seen the engines they sell, who knows what you get from a dropshipper.
“Sharper Edge advised their replacement for my VW TDI...”
Sharper Edge advised their replacement for my VW TDI engine had been checked-out and was 100% within new factory specifications. It arrived in 3 days and installed by the best German Auto mechanic in San Diego. Even these serious professionals are impressed.
“Totally satisfied”
Was very happy with the service I got motor runs excellent buck was very honest had to swap everything of top of motor, buck took the time to listen to what I needed found me the lowest possible mileage on a motor changed valve covers and oil pan gaskets motor was in excellent shape
“Great experience”
My engine in my 04 Toyota Solara was damaged due to the radiator dumping the coolant. I went online and requested quotes from several companies. Jack contacted me and quoted me an engine with low miles at an excellent price. I checked his BBB rating and read the reviews. I ordered the engine. I received my sales order within hours. The engine was shipped from another company, which also was A+rated by BBB. The engine arrived when promised. I had already bought new radiator, timing chains and water pump. It was delivered to the shop that was doing the work, and they were able to have my car running within three days. If I ever need another engine, I'll call sharper edge first.
“Horrible Owner/horrible customer service!”
Dont Do business with them! Jack is the worst! On January 25,2018 I Stephen Pryor Called this business and spoke with the owner Jack about purchasing a 25 hundred dollar engine for a ford F150 pickup, he told me he had one but he suggested a new engine from someone he knew. I declined this offer and wanted the original engine i called about so he said he would have it shipped to me was very aggressive about getting my Card number..
“Nice”
I bought an used GMC Sierra 1500 engine from sharper edge engines tow weeks ago and I got the unit after four days. Jack the owner is very nice and helpful. The engine work great. Thanks Jack and yalda.
“GREAT EXPERIENCE”
After dealing with a seller who sent me 2 defective engines for my 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid, I called Jack for a quote. He was able to find an engine w/62,000 on it in Oregon where I live - all for a great price. He provided me the VIN# and an Auto Check report so I could check the history and mileage on the engine. I ordered it from Jack on Monday, it was delivered the same week on Friday and the next week I was back driving my vehicle. So far, the engine has been running fine. Thanks Jack!
“I was surprised at how good the block you sold me was...”
I was surprised at how good the block you sold me was in and i was more surprised at how when i turned the key over for the first time it started right up. Also when i was looking for an engine the guy told me he had an audi engine that had just came in with lower miles and charged me the same price for it as the first engine. Ballin!
“Called and wouldnt sell me engine I originally purchased then demanded $400 more”
Complete rip off. The guy that sits behind a computer and sources salvaged engines is apparently a master of all engines and knows Audi and VW engines in and out of them. Bought a $3000 engine called me back and told me that don't sell engines from AUTOPARTMAX.com (well that's where I bought the engine from) but they don't apparently sell from there anymore. Wanted to sell me an engine with over double the miles I originally purchased for $400 more I knew he was a jack $#*! when he started telling me what was wrong with these Audi engines and told me the reason the engine was more was because his "german engine specialist" in California puts a new timing chain in the engines. I don't want some hack going thru the engine I just bought. I just want a known running engine out of a car so I can put it in my car. He started screaming at me over the phone and ended up hanging up.
“Rude, Racist, Irate, Name Calling”
POC: JACK 10/28/20@ 10:43 am. Jack texted me and asked me to call the company and ask for him. I called and Jack answered the phone. I told Jack that I needed an engine with low mileage and the cheapest. Jack had me to know that there's nothing free in this world and hung up on me. I called back and Jack answered, I told Jack that if I had wanted something for free then I would have asked just that. Jack became irate, disrespect, and racial over the phone and then had the audacity to tell me to go and F... myself. I wouldn't recommend this Sharp Edge Engines, LLC in Jacksonville, FL to anyone. Shoppers beware!
“Bad situation made RIGHT”
I bought an engine from Jack. The engine came from LKQ. There was an issue W/ the engine and Jack made a bad situation bearable. Not only did he get a new engine, he also chose to refund part of my purchase price to help offset my expense of replacing the engine. Thanks to Jack and his wife for helpimg me get my SUV back on the road. Ray Cook. Wichita Falls, Tx
“Very Dishonest, do not do business with this company.”
Sharper Edge purchased an engine from my business in October 2015. They claimed that the engine wasn't good, so we told them to return the engine and we would refund their money. When they sent the engine back we could obviously tell this was not the engine that was sent to us, pieces were missing that were on the original engine we sent and we use paint marker to put our name on the engines we sell, nowhere on the returned engine was our name. So they sent a bad engine back plus they got their money back when they filed a claim with the credit card company. We will definitely will be filing an appeal. These are VERY DISHONEST people. Service Returns Quality
“This is the place to go for used engines.”
I recently purchased a used engine from Sharper Edge Engines and I was very impressed. After getting the run around from LKQ I decided to contact Sharper Edge and I spoke to Buck Williams. He was very polite and helpful. He sold me a quality engine with ******* less miles and about $200 cheaper than what LQK had quoted me. I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10. Thank you Buck and the Sharper Edge Engines Team.
“Wasted my time”
I was looking for a new used engine for my 04 cobra he told me he had a complete engine with a supercharger $4,400 ******* miles wow what a steal he sends me pictures thank God all it was was a v black not a complete engine with a supercharger as he told me and he had the nerve did tell me I'm the guy that has no sense and that's coming from a professional that's supposed to tell me what I need he had an attitude ever email you responded back I was being patient and very kind very detailed and this is the owner horrible customer service
“Great company”
I know Jack and Yalda personally. Their company is top-notch. They are responsible, prompt, have good customer service, are fair with prices, choose good transport arrangements. They're terrific!
“This company is absolutely excellent...”
This company is absolutely excellent... very honest and they send excellent product and honesty is what matters... I'm very happy with my Engine for my old Truck... Thank you so much Yalda & Jack.
“Your engine will not arrive when they say!”
I was excited to find a reasonably priced replacement engine for my wife's LR4. They responded quickly and professionally and accepted payment. They said 5 weeks for the engine to ship. After 7 weeks the engine had still not shipped, they were slow to respond to emails and I had trouble talking to a live person. When I did talk to Yelda, she was very nice and sounded genuinely sorry about the delays. Ultimately my engine was over a month late, and I truly believe that it only finally got sent because I was calling them 1-2X per day. The engine got to the repair shop and was missing the "upgrade kit" that is recommended but costs extra. I called and was told that they always forget to send those, so sorry, etc. Promised it would be sent the next day overnight air. It was not sent and I emailed and called for a tracking number with no response. Called and email again with no response, and now they say that they "forgot" again and that it will be shipped out Monday (even though it is Friday at 9am... EDIT... They ended up shipping the parts kit and it arrived Monday. But THERE WERE NO HOSES IN THE PARTS KIT. Emailed the seller and no response.. Tip for consumers:Decent pricing, but if you are renting a car while you wait for shipping you will be in a rental for much longer than you think! Products used:Land Rover LR4 motor. Have not used it yet because shipping took so long and they did not ship all of the parts needed to install

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
