Is shapeshift.io Legit?

agree with others. Shapeshift is an absolute scam. Draining my account for every transaction made. Rainfall rewards and mining have actually cost me money. Avoid avoid avoid.

This platform is a complete scam and does bad business. Once they have your info and once you interact with their platform, they will magically drain your account of all crypto. I watched multiple eth addresses that do the same processes of claiming FOX tokens over and over again. Fox tokens are only supposed to be airdropped under certain criteria, but not for a couple eth addresses. They claim claim claim over and over again minute after minute. Its obvious these are either developers of this fraudulent company who once used to be based in the US and left overseas to South America to hide from government crackdown. Criminals!!

I would stay away…I can’t believe how long it has taken me to get my crypto out of it. Messages saying ‘’404’ can’t find transaction object or ‘unfunded payment’ despite there being plenty to cover it. It’s taken me 6 hours to get my crypto out bit by bit repeating the same process over and over again It was so full of promise this site, turned out to be a nightmare.

This app would have so much potential if only any of its components actually worked. I spent too much time trying to play around to get this working, but for me, they didn't. I couldn't connect a wallet. I couldn't swap tokens. I literally couldn't even purchase crypto on the site because the payment window was hidden off the screen!? I was prepared to hand over a bunch of cash, just to play with it. But nope. Massive meh!

Trash trash trash. The desktop and mobile experiences are completely different, fees are incredibly high (was trying to exchange 44 usd in ETH for RUNE and they wanted to charge 58 dollars in fees!) Got whittled down to 37 usd by the time I wised up and withdrew. Seems this company takes complete advantage of people not wanting to go through KYC practices.

DO NOT USE THIS EXCHANGE. They stole $1000 worth of Bitcoin from me. I transferred it into a new account and then realized that I couldn't buy Ripple. When I tried to send my Bitcoin out of my account it kept giving me error messages on mobile and website. Once I reached tech support they instructed me what to do and this process erased my Bitcoin and it vanished with no record of the transaction. After I reached tech support with this revelation, they have ignored my emails. It's pure thievery and I hope the US and Swiss regulators shut it down. AWFUL SERVICE DONT USE. Highly unethical.

I LOVE Shapeshift, The have tried to help me, but i have Hard to understundom.But now i grab Phone and PC Alain, to try figurante it out.I online wrote Downey 11 Woods, and centrum remember password.Shapeshift have give me a lot off instructions, so i hopp to Solveig it.

So have been using Shapeshift now with my keepkey wallet to trade my BTC, Etherium, LTC, USDT and had no real issues except I ran out of gas for Ether transaction, right when BTC started pumping (face palm), but hey S... happens. Overall positive experience so far, I wish I could buy more crypto but buying platform doesn't operate in Hawaii, but that is because Hawaii is super backward. (hard face palm).Also, please acquire EWT coin, they are a moonshot.

If I could give with 0 stars I would ...I bought $25 of bitcoin and it took forever to finally arrive when it did it was double what I had bought Wich I found kind of weird later I tried to make a trade it wouldn't let me said something about no spendable utxo and then a few minutes later all my bitcoin was gone this is a scam forsure

This website and his owner are SCAMMERS.I lost huge money on their website!According to Erik Voorhees, exchanging cryptocurrency on his website is like buying t-shirt on Amazon.It's normal for them that if you wanted to exchange big amounts of crypto, you wait for up to 3 days because they are having technical issue ALWAYS when you want to exchange big amounts, so you lose thousands of dollars in conversion rate on "instant" exchange where "instant" means waiting for 3 days or more to receive your money!PLEASE AVOID!

The transaction fees are way too high, even with the new ether hard fork implemented. fortunately i put a small amount to test run it. still $30bucks is stuck there.

DO NOT USE. I sent in $280 dollars worth of ETH to be exchanged into Reddcoin. I was in a rush for the McAfee pump. They did not clearly display the final amount I would receive anywhere, a basic function you would expect for any legitimate conversion agency. Anyways, what I received was the $110 in Redcoin. I lost $170! How can any conversion agency justify taking over 50% of a transactions value???? Total scam, DO NOT USE!!!

Used once before, worked a treat no issues would rate good.2nd time order said completed, sent the BTC never received LTC. raised support ticket advised exchange error and I would get BTC refunded. days later................... no BTC or LTC and no response from numerous emails and support tickets raised. was only a small amount £20.00 trade so very worrying if I was going to swap a bigger amount, which I wont be doing as customer service is shocking! will some one please resolve this at SHAPESHIFT

This is by far the worst exchange I have ever used, Its been more than two weeks and I still haven't heard from them over my ''Failed Transaction''. There are much better exchanges out there avoid at all cost, because if you ever have issues you wont get any customer service just some automated email telling you how busy they are. Learn from my mistake.

Using Shapeshift with Keepkey is really easy and straightforward. Trades are as fast as a "swap" on a Ethereum dApp, with the big advantage that any cryptocurrencies listed can be exchanged: from ETH to BTC, from LTC to DASH etc etc. The only waiting time is determined by finality of blockchain.Moreover, the zero commission up to 1000$ is a great deal!

BIG SCAMMER. I sent BTC before 6 days but they are still showing "awaiting deposit''. I did a huge mistake by not checking the complaints of hundreds of other customers on their official facebook page.Reddit is also full of their scam stories.Be very careful while using Shapeshift. They even tried to remove my review from TrustPilot by raising a technical issue, so i have removed that particular line from my review but that proves how cunning this company is and up to what extent they can go to silence us. Disgusting.

They have really bad support and they delete everything bad about them in the media... don't use this service at all their systems work like crap too nobody cares Its probably one of the worst services I've known they just ban you for saying that there support is crap...

Would rate it zero stars if had an opportunity to do so. My coin withdrawal is stuck for 16 days now (ticket # 142624) - cannot sell it, nor exchange, Meanwhile the price is plummeting... Customer support is absent - no response whatsoever. Stay away by all possible means if you care about your money. I was careless not to read all reviews about this "exchange" before actually depositing my coins there.Update: Have received my funds almost 2 months after opening ticket... Although happy for my funds, would not use the service again.

Overpriced, does not support that many coins/tokens, rainfall feature never worked for me and never registered transactions after the first one. I have been trying to move assets from their wallet to one that I have more control of and is faster than the sluggish app they have but their fees are so high that mostly I keep getting "insufficient funds" messages. I then recovered the wallet using my backup phrase onto another wallet provider and that helped migrating most of the assets apart from ETH and BTC.
