All the drives I've ordered so far have been great. The purchasing process was super simple, straightforward, and easy. The shipping has always been lightning quick. It's typically just a couple/few days between ordering the drives and receiving them! They are packaged very well and safely, I've had no worries about the drives being damaged in transit the way they get packaged.

Works great, no bad sectors

After reading rave reviews on Reddit about refurb/renewed HDDs from ServerPartDeals, I pulled the trigger on 2x Samsung Exos X18 16TB drives. They shipped the first business day after I bought them and arrived two days later. Packing couldn’t have been better - double-boxed, each HDD in its own box, encapsulated by an air bladder (or whatever they’re called), inside a sealed anti-static bag. Testing the HDDs before install showed that one had 21 hours of power-on, the other had 20! Both HDDs are now in my NAS and working perfectly. I’ll be upgrading my other two 4TB drives soon.

I pretty much only buy drives here now. The MFR recertified WD UltraStar drives I have purchased have had zero issues and I couldn't find comparable prices anywhere even after shipping, duty and currency conversion to Canada. Had defective items to return. Filled out RMA. There was a website issue & didn't go through. When I enquired on the online chat, the CSR got the info and followed up with me to make sure my issue had been satisfactorily resolved. Prompt and thorough care.

good drive, well packaged, quick delivery,some reviews indicate the exos series may be loud, I found this drive to quiet, copied over 11 TB over to this drive, no problems, crystaldisk indicated 2 turn on and 24 hours on this drive when I received it, I think the factory may have reset the bios, who knows?

Ordered on Friday afternoon, arrived on Tuesday lunch time- to Australia. Outstanding.Drives showing 0 hours and 0 issues so potentially reset by seller or factory, but more than 50% already in use and no issues so far.

Everything was excellent from ordering online to the product arriving promptly. However a diagnostic report should be included when buying used drives. They are tested anyway to make sure these used drives are still working. The only extra step is to press print.

Bought a 15TB SSD supposed to write at 7GBSWhen I got it I had to purcahse an additional PCI express card, a bit sad that a specialized store wouldn't inform its customer they needed one. I tested the drive at only 800Mb/s Vs 7GBs advertised. So 9 times slower! They sent me a return label to test it and I had to wait 2 more weeks to finally get a refund whereas I was told they would fix it. I needed this drive I lost one month with Serverpartdeals because they sold me a defective product and did not tell me what was wrong with it or exchange it for another drive. It took me a long time to decide on this model now I'll have to do some more research and shop around. Very deceptive in their communications with have a fantastic weekend with your family followed by here's your refund without saying why they did not Honor their contract.
