sercanto.co.uk Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives sercanto.co.uk one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 10.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 10.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sercanto.co.uk's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning sercanto.co.uk, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sercanto.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sercanto.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sercanto.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sercanto.co.uk is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether sercanto.co.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether sercanto.co.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, sercanto.co.uk.

Online Reviews of sercanto.co.uk

  • Score: 1.2
Was alerted to this job advert by a friend who thought I was leaving my job as the job advertised is mine which I have been doing this job for over 2 years so they are advertising a job over 2 years old that is not available, along with advertising other jobs in my Company. I have checked this out no job requisitions outstanding for sign off or on the system as a vacancy.
Do not give them your data. This website fraudulently posts fake adverts under legitimate recruitment companies and employers' brands without permission. If you are interested in a job you see on this website, please contact the employer directly. Do not apply for jobs directly on there or contact Sercanto directly. Doing so opens you up to employment scams.
SCAM ALERT. Fake jobs with fake links. The job advertised was for a business which dissolved in 2016. I'm not sure what information they have managed to get by my clicking on a link which asked for confirmation of residence on the UK but then redirected me to an unsafe link which my phone luckily blocked, but even so better to avoid it altogether.
This is not a legitimate job board platform. Sercanto and sites like it take expired/closed jobs from company websites and job boards such as indeed and post them on their website without consent or contract. Many have outdated info and salaries on. NO SDL MINORFERN JOBS ON SERCANTO ARE REAL, DO NOT REGISTER OR APPLY . This is likely a data mining scam that wants your information.
I have sent an email to Google to request that they remove this website and to avail, nothing! You click on a job that does not exhist, which to me, is luck in a strange sense that someone does not have your CV information! Do not use this website!!!! Hopefuly they will get rid of it soon and I’m suprised that it is still running
I'd give a zero...As other posters mention, this is a scam company. They falsely advertise positions that don't exist, attempt to take your data when you go to their/one of their affiliate's sites and, in some cases, it will lead you to being asked to sign up/attempt to collect a fee from you.
This a fraudulent site, do not use. They harvest jobs and forward onto either the right job or in more times than I care to remember they just forward to a page on a job site.Their partner company emprego are just as fraudulent too. They take your personal data and use similar tactics to sercanto
I believe it is time for Sercanto to be taken down. It's either they make money just by drawing traffic to their platform or they use people's data in other ways to make money. It is very inhuman to target job seekers, a very vulnerable group, for this type of scam. I demand an official statement from Sercanto on why they post old expired jobs as new, post jobs that do not have application links and open a different job title when you click on a link for a different job title.I patiently and conscientiously explored this site to see if there was any good from them, unfortunately, a possible crime investigation by the authorities may just be the solution.
This company has been posting historic/expired job adverts from CK Group but we are in no way affiliated with them. We were recently contacted directly by a candidate about a job that was over 2 years old... Presumably a scam to harvest data.
Complete scam company. Once u click to apply u are sent to a website called empress that just has lots of buttons saying apply but divert u to another advert! U cannot apply for real jobs, just get stuck behind apply buttons that direct u elsewhere! 0 stars!!!
The worst. When you click on the 'Apply' button, you will be taken to a website called Emprego. When you click on the 'Apply' button on Emprego, it diverts you to a completely separate job posting on Reed (usually). They're clearly making up jobs to entice job seekers to make an account so that they can harvest their data. There are many reviews just like mine so hopefully they get shut down soon!
I would agree with all of the reviews below, this site is somehow posting historic jobs, many at least 2 years old presumably to generate data. I would give the site 0 stars and please be aware that Pure, Pure Executive and Pure Resourcing Solutions have no affiliation with this organisation and they do not have our permission to post any roles on our behalf. If they ask for any personal data please do not share.
This is unlikely to be a legitimate website/service. I started getting suspicious of the website when it began to ask for my date of birth. I've filled a number of job applications and not once have I been asked for my birth date. The site is riddled with adverts and tries to get you to clink on to strange websites.n
If I could give a 0, I would. The website is a mess, riddled with ads and I had tried to apply to two jobs on their website which required you to fill out a minimum of 75% of your profile on their platform. Once I clicked apply, it took me to reed.co.uk with listings of other jobs. I didn't get a confirmation message or email so just a waste of time and I've no idea what they did with my information.
I'm not sure what this company is trying to achieve. They are copying jobs from genuine jobsites which have expired. When you click on apply you are being directed to another site which has nothing to do with the job then you are asked to download an app with vicious maleware. How is this company Sercanto being allowed to do this. I am so frustrated because I am a genuine jobseeker trying to find a job.
I am unable to log into my account to check if I have a job offer, I have reset my password but still cant login
Clickbait nonsense. No matter how many times I unsubscribe from this, or the associated HireMe24 and Blackboardjob, I still get their silly web scraping emails. 6 in total today alone. They can't even be bothered to try to make it a legitimate job search service, or provide proper filters and so on. This is not a real job site, just an electronic vulture, living off other companies listings and the ad revenue from the clicks. I have emailed them, to no avail. If you are also a victim, please complain to protocollo at gpdp dot it
This company is posting old adverts- some over 2 years old that obviously don't exist anymore. For jobseekers out there, use reputable job advert sites, I fear if you apply via this website, you will be ghosted and this is the websites fault- not the company that is being advertised.
Wouldn't even give these filthy scammers 1 star!! Avoid this website, all job ads are fake! Also beware don't put any personal details in when you click their link for jobs, as it's most likely some scammer trying to obtain people's personal info!
Don't get caught out by this website - every job listing on there is expired (or according to other users, not even real).Every time I think a new job has been posted, I get my hopes up since what I'm looking for doesn't come by too often. You end up going through several different websites to then get to the EXPIRED job listing on Indeed.I don't know why it's here, as it's completely pointless, but make sure you don't type any personal information into it.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
