Is seelbachs.com Legit?

Not too happy. First I placed my order on December 12th, their ensure by Christmas delivery. Arrived the 26th,I get it, order placed at 4:30 pm so I guess I’ll let that slide. But, both bottles were shipped out together, only one of bottles was in the package. Packing slip also stated both bottles should be in there. I reached out to customer service, got back quickly but they then proceed to tell me that bottle ended up being sold out so that’s why only one was shipped. No communication prior to sending an order!? I look like an idiot telling someone there Christmas gift is on the way and will be arriving. Jerk move Seelbachs! Then on top of it they refund me the bottle and then refund me just the difference in shipping from the one bottle up to two! I ordered cause two was a good deal, one bottle I would not have been willing to pay that much for shipping. All around terrible experience. I don’t think I’ll order again.

I had ordered a bottle about 2 weeks out from a trip I was going on. It hadn’t shipped after 5 business days so I sent an email trying to find out if it would be here before I left (I live I’ve a state you need to sign for alcohol). They said they were try and get it shipped with the next 2 days. Sure enough to bottle shipped out with overnight shipping. The problem came the next morning when UPS reported my package damaged and the contents discarded. I email Seelbachs and before the end of the day they had another shipping label created and another bottle sent out the next day again with overnight shipping. This one arrived I damaged and several days before I have to leave.

Their customer service is awful. All I wanted was an estimated deliver date (EDD) and they would simply say the shipper had the package and to be patient. I was not anxious for the package, I needed to know when it was coming due to a busy schedule. So I asked Seelbach for the shipper's contact info because the shipper - We Ship Express - also did not provide the EDD and there was no contact information for them. Seelbach would not respond to my email.There is no phone number for Seelbach, they only use email. I guess that makes it easier to ignore their customers. So it was too bad so sad, UPS and me are both spending unnecessary time because of poor customer service. Now, UPS is trying to deliver the package but I have prior commitments (hence my need to know the EDD), and am hoping to juggle multiple projects to meet the delivery. Hopefully I either get the package or a full refund, including shipping costs, if this fails.

I have consistently had wonderful service!A problem with one bottle of a three bottle shipment was quickly replaced.First problem in multiple purchases, I highly recommend them!!!!

I placed an order for 3 items, I’ve received 1 and paid for 3, $298. Blake is not responding to my emails regarding this issue. Would not recommend purchasing from Seelbach. 10/9/24 still no ship date or product. 10/22/24 they canceled my remaining items and did not bother to tell me. Shop elsewhere if you want your product.

Seelbach's is best in class for connecting craft distilleries to the masses. They are growing and sometimes have issues with shipping times and missing items but their customer support is the best I have ever experienced. They respond in minutes and correct issues immediately with no extra work around. If you are getting into bourbon please give Seelbachs a shot. Their store picks always are delicious. Just be ready to spend some $, I keep going back to order more every week :)

I am always cautious when buying higher priced items through the internet. I have purchased more bottles of bourbon than I should from Seelbach's and have been extremely happy with not only the selection, the price and the customer service has been excellent. My last order had an issue. Seelbach's did not include one item in my order and then it was not available. They worked with me to find a replacement and then shipped it free of charge. I will keep shopping here via mail order because of there selection and how they dealt with an error.

Seelbachs is my go to online store for craft spirits and barrel picks. Their shipping is reliable and their customer service is usually pretty quick to respond. I’ve ordered dozens of bottles from them and luckily haven’t had any breakage or damaged products.

This is an online only merchant. There are no methods of contact other than email. The email and ordering system is not automated to the point that it is hands free of employees. Ordering requires little, getting anyone to give an intentional response takes a lot of patience.I am giving Blake a chance after communicating with him through email.I shall follow up

These guys are one of, if not the, top company for online liquor sales. They fulfill orders quicker than anyone and offer fair shipping and shipping protection. My last order was quickly processed, packed, shipped, and received within 5 days! Hope they can continue to expand their product offerings/availability.

Great communications. Speedy delivery. Great experience with my first Seelbachs order. I placed my order on a Saturday evening. As the confirmation flashed by on my screen I noticed a typo I made in an address line. In a bit of a panic I sent a note to their support e-mail address. Sunday morning I had a reply from them in my inbox that they made the correction. My order arrived at my door Wednesday, four days after being placed. They communicated the delivery status at each step of the process. Very impressed with my first transaction with Seelbachs.

I have ordered with Seelbach’s multiple times and always have a good experience. They offer great bottles, for good prices. Customer service goes above and beyond. They made an inventory mistake on a bottle I ordered and were quick to own that mistake and help me find another bottle, which is all I can ask for. Mistakes happen and they handle them gracefully.

The service received from Seelbachs is unlike so many others that I felt I had to review. They are super responsive on email and we're able to quickly handle any questions I had. They treat customers with care and respect and really take care of them. I'm happy to be a pro member (as are many of my friends) as well as I have ordered from them several times with amazing results. Don't hesitate to work with this company as I wouldn't be posting if I didn't feel so confident!

Received bottle of rye from Seelbachs via UPS. Box was dripping whiskey on arrival. Opened soggy box to find inadequate packing and a half full bottle of whiskey. Bottle had rattled around in transit to partially damage cork, with subsequent leakage. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Have always had a great experience ordering from Seelbach's and never reviewed as most do, until today. I am writing this review not just because of how good they are at what they do, but how well they handle a situation when something goes wrong. I had a problem with shipping and all I had to do was communicate it to support, pretty late mind you, and it was fixed with no more efforts on my part. The quick reply and solution just says a lot about them and their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Great customer service!An item I’d been wanting came back in stock after I had already placed an order. I emailed asking to add the item and they quickly responded saying it’s been done. I appreciate how quick they were to catch the order before it shipped and fulfilled my request!

Seelbach’s is the distributor for my favorite distillery. I was concerned about the number of unfavorable reviews. So I reached out to Blake and expressed my concerns. He addressed my concerns by sharing their volume and breakage rate details, rather than trying to minimize my concerns. I took a chance and placed an order. The shipment arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I’m not sure what happened to the folks who’ve described very different experiences in their reviews. But I can tell you my experience was as positive as it could be and I have already placed a second order with them.

Seelbach's is my first (and often only) choice for amazingly unique Whiskeys and Bourbons at reasonable prices. I have placed (and received) multiple bottle orders over the last six months. All the bottles arrived quickly and safely. Blake and team have responded to every email from me and take the time to understand my questions and answer them thoroughly. I also joined the monthly membership and the bourbonr club, when a slot finally opened. I have received a bourbon or rye each month as part of the membership and have been impressed with the quality of the bottles. The customer service has been outstanding, the selection is updated in seemingly real-time, and the prices are very reasonable.

Great selections, great value and even better customer service. I have made several orders through Seelbach’s and have always been pleased. I had a minor leak from one of the bottles and they went out of their way to make it right. I will order again soon. Excellent company to deal with, highly recommended.
