We came up with the 12.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to securitasdirect.pt's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

  • Spam Score

While some are self-explanatory concerning securitasdirect.pt, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between securitasdirect.pt and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of securitasdirect.pt. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of securitasdirect.pt, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. securitasdirect.pt is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

We had no real issue for about 3 years, but we moved house 3 weeks ago. A month before moving we asked them to uninstall the system for our move to the new house, they arranged to come the afternoon before we moved but no one came. We had packed part of the alarm but the bits attached to the wall had to remain at the house, because noone came to remove it. We have sent several messages and spoken on the phone to say that due to the fact they didn't turn up, half the equipment is lost at the old house and so the contract had to be cancelled. Now they keep phoning to know why we aren't paying!!!! Today I was phoned to ask why the direct debit was cancelled and send an SMS to get us to pay the invoice!!! I would send an email but can't find anywhere on the site that has an email. How do I get through to these people.
Monday the 17th of June someone from Securitas in Portugal called me and said the alarm went on and they asked if I wanted a video from the house yes of course ...and than someone from Securitas called me and said they wanted to have the password and said I am outside your house but I was unsecure and wanted to know who this was and he just answered no password no video no password no video and he repeated this over and over again and than hang up ....This is not what Iám paying for this rudeness and racist word - you can be worried who is calling right ? or should I just accept his behavior ????If you want to solve this situation you should have called me and tried until Iám answering shouldnt you ??? but in Portugal there are many racists - arent there and apparently on Securitas also
I have a problem with my Remote control .I am a client many years .Since a week i call securitas direct to send me or bring me a new one . Everytime the operator give me another number or promise me to call me back .Nothing .Incredibel such a big company can not resolve this problem, even for a very old client . No stars for securitas direct
To start with i believe that SD is the best available system in Spain , Italy & Portugal. At the present time I have 4 installations of my own.Pt. Customer service is excellent together with the operations room. I had some issues regarding my invoices and they were solved lately by Mr.Luis Perreira thankfully. One thing missing in PT.is the Doorbell and the 360° cameras. The rest is fine.
The worst experience ever. Been pressed in a contract (my fault...of course), paid directly with creditcard, got no contract, no invoice, nor receipt, no one at the service is answering my questions, no possibility to contact at the website.it is a horrible nightmare. Wasting time, nerves and money. Looking for a chance to cancel that messy relation... but got no contract and don’t know what are the rules of the termination and so on. A WARNING for everybody considering to get some security service. Don’t choose this!
Because the system only speaks Portugese, I didn't get it that the electricity was not correct. At the moment I went on holydays it quits, In the airport I needed to find out what to do, no trace of understanding. So I need to organise with people I know in the village to repair the system.I am not a happy customer.
They are great at getting you to sign up but the quality of their products and customer service is very poor. My unit stopped working and I get no response from my messages and support. Their iPhone app is also very clunky and unreliable. I regret signing up to their overpriced service.
I have been with Securitas Direct for over 10 years and have seen a significant decline in the services offered. I am in the process of trying to cancel my contract and I'm being told that my contract automatically renews each year for 12 months and that I cannot cancel until May 2021! And they are insisting that I have to post a signed letter by registered post. This is beyond belief!
This company has the best proposal for me to install surveillance cameras for my home. And they did it very swiftly, without any disturbance of my family.Great job!
"Worst Customer Support Ever"!, they don't answer phone calls, they take up to 3 MONTHS to reply to email enquiries.
Incredible service! Evaluation and installation on the very same day. Very flexible and adaptable solutions. Easy to understand and to use.
I only have experience of their sales team, I didn't actually use them company. But, I filled out the "get a quote now" form on the website, and was visited the next day by a very classically pushy / manipulative sales lady who first asked me if I had an idea of cost, before coming up with a high "usual price" and offering me a "discount" on it, as long as I accepted immediately and gave them contact details of 5 friends for marketing / sales purposes. On my rejecting the offer, I was asked what was "blocking" me, and my repeated insistence that I needed time to research the competition and read the T&Cs was shut down in favour of "improvements" to the deal in the form of additional gadgets and a lower price. Finally they told me that as a "clincher" they would add in a device to protect against wireless signal inhibitors and said they were the only company to offer them (a lie). I realised she wasn't going to leave unless and until I had signed a contract, so had to explicitly ask her to leave. I was given a copy of the T&Cs, which I read and discovered a two-year lock in period, and an auto-renewal for 1 year unless you give them 30 days notice (on reading other reviews, it seems they are prone to 'misunderstanding' your requests to cancel the contract). I wondered what was wrong with what they were offering that they weren't prepared to give me even 5 days to research the market before locking me into a two-year contract. The kit sounded good, but the sales process was a nightmare, and on that basis I am more prone to heed the negative reviews of their Spanish operation than the positive ones here.
We had a very pleasant experience with the hiring and installation of the security system. We highlight the professionalism and friendliness of Pedro Santos who was the technician responsible for the sale and installation.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
